OMG! DANA CARVEY has so many excellent impressions. Everyone has their own favorites of course. I love his Trump. His Ross Perot just because these "off the wall" and eccentric politicians are just hilarious. His Dennis Miller and Johnny Carson are awesome too and his Keith Richards is very comical. I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM IN CONCERT. MAYBE I WILL. He is one of the few that I would spend the time to go see in person. THANK YOU DANA CARVEY.

I'm not exactly a fan of Ariana Grande but I respect her talent. She does some spot-on singing and voice impressions on SNL that are as good as any full time impressionist.
I agree - too bad she's insane. In a recent interview when asked if she could go to dinner with anyone alive or dead guess what her answer was? She responded "Jeffrey Dahmer"....that's not right in the head.

Dana is a great characterizer of people. That is, he does a good characterization of a person, a version of a person similar to when someone does John Wayne: You know who it is they're impersonating but you would not be fooled into thinking it was actually John Wayne if you heard them speak. But best impressionist living today? As far as getting the actual sound of the person to a level where you could be fooled into thinking it was actually them talking, I would suggest someone like Bill Hader. His Alan Alda is so perfect I'm amazed it doesn't get more attention (and I don't think I've ever even heard another person try). His Seth Rogen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Cruise, Keith Morrison and Vincent Price are all top notch.
Carvey as Miller was the best.
Douglas. Yeah, he really "leaned" into that one, knowing full well he could break Dennis up! To most comics, that's a badge of honor, if you can make the other guy spew chunks!

Watch Carvey with Seinfeld on the cars coffee cars whatever show. The little throwaway bit with Lennon and McCartney talking to each other was so perfect, and it was like he was just expositing that to get it out of the way and get to something funnier.
