I’m a knucklehead!
what's the joke there?
@@AG-gv9cb Epcot is a Disneyworld theme park where you can basically "visit" various international places and learn about their cultures. Basically the joke is that Tim Walz went to the China section of Epcot and thought he actually was in China.
That was funny!!$
I GOT A STACK OF MIDTERMS 😂😂😂😂😂😂
No this literally told me everything I needed to know abt how funny this was abt to be 😂😂😂😂
The vice president doesn’t matter…..Who the hell was Obama’s VP….”NOBODY KNOWS”😅😅😅
I LOVE when they bring in old alums to do current events!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!
"So what I think happened is I went to EPCOT, and I was in the German section and had a lot of beers..." 😂🤣☠☠
Anyone who has been to Epcot can vouch for the accuracy of this statement. Germany is right next to China and by the time you make it to Germany you're definitely ready for a few drinks.
Is this what I have to look forward to for the next 4+ years? Thank you, SNL! I really hope these SNL alumni are up for it!
That’s the kind of skit in the 80s we waited till 12:00 o’clock Saturday night to watch, then go out!Good stuff
@@billthompson6182 so very true!!!
Jim Gaffigan sure hopes so. Consistent work and paycheck for the next 4 years
My thoughts exactly! 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙
Naw lmao trump 2024 we gotta country to save
Dude nails Tim Walz perfectly lol
That’s Jim Gaffigan!
Dana Carvey as Biden right there reminded me a little of Tim Conway as the OLD MAN on the Carol Burnett show back in the day.
He does😁
That's IT! Exactly!🎉
Yes, I felt he was intentionally channeling Tim Conway (one of.. the.. funniest men ever). And most people under 50 probably don't know anything about Conway's run on the Carol Burnett show. Where he *regularly* broke up the rest of the cast and reduced Harvey Korman to a a blibbering idiot.
Ye gods, yes! Btw, there's a lot of The Carol Burnett Show on YT - and, recently, some episodes of a later Tim Conway variety series. It's great stuff. I don't know if Burnett would feel well enough to host SNL, but that would be a dream come true.
Exactly! The whole roaming eyes thing.
Love that both sides can be laughed at and not just one party!!! Kudos SNL for doing this !!!
So good to see SNL funny again. 😆
Maya Rudolph really nails Kamala, especially the voice.
She was amazing! Sounded and looked just like her!
Agreed
Esti is much better imo but Maya is good too.
Soooo GOOD!!!
Watching the cast trying not to break character makes it is even funnier!
Ok this is one of the best openers I’ve seen in a while
It was funny in itself, but it won't be in the top 10 political skits of this century, or the last.
JD Vance as Bowen Yang and Tim Walz as Jim Gaffigan both really made a great job at impersonating.
Jim Gaffigan as Tim Walz is great. He has all the mannerisms and overall mid-westerness of Walz.
i think you said that backward, but ok
@@wolfeesmom joke, you, woosh.
Except for the glasses 🤓 🕶️
Nora O'Donnell is more serious looking
“Remember when I said his crowds were tiny and I broke his brain.” 😂😂😂
After Vance's opening statement, the mods should have said "wow! We've barely even started and you're already creepy."
@weareallbronies9031 yah you are
Remember when the teleprompter froze and it broke her brain
@@avq1170I remember you being butthurt.
Remember when she said the Border was closed and Broke America 😂
SNL has finally showed some balance. This is hilarious!
the writing, the whole cast, it is all brilliant and a needed laugh.
They have NO idea what to do to satirize Vance and it all falls flat. But Gaffigan as Walz is perfection. Maya is terrific. And Dana hasn’t lost a beat.
Walz looks and acts just like a 1980s sitcom Dad.!!
you're just a republican my guy
@@Dezboodahh yes, he said calling Trump HitIer was a compliment. Cope harder dude
@@GoatDust cope deez nuts. Get ready to storm the capital again, cuz Dementia Donald is losing this election worse than last time
Vance is one of the most well spoken politicians so acting like he has no plans and is keeping it all in his head does fall flat. Surprised thats the best they had.
It's like SNL is having a revival of the good ole days! 😅😂
Make SNL great again
That would require talent not woke mind virus
“So here’s what happened, I went to Epcot.” Killed me 💀💀💀
That ice cream bit was hilarious It going become meme soon 🤣.
Oh man, what a waste of some perfectly good ice cream.
@@delta5297She didn’t waste it… but it was just the tip 😂
@@kitlee172 She did an excellent tongue clean up, got like 80% of the ice-cream with one swipe
I think that spill was an unscripted movement
It took bringing in 3 former cast members and an unrelated stand up comedian, but SNL finally made a relatively funny political sketch for the first time in over a decade!
Bla bla bla
10/13/24: Probably the first time since the 1990s.
It's hard to make an authentic funny political sketch when you're obviously biased towards one side.
for a moment, SNL remembered it used to be a comedy show with real talent
That's because Dana Carvey has been creating his Biden character on his podcast for quite a while. Love his impressions!
😂 This was actually hilarious!
I got a stack of midterms!😂😂😂😂
So glad I wasn't drinking at that moment! I was bursting out loud laughing here!
😂 perfect 😂
Real
He's not teaching anymore. How could he if he's Governor.
@@Tina-qp7pyYou’re a genius
The best skit I’ve seen in some time from SNL. AWESOME !
Chloe's gentle break when Dana Carvey showed up was hilarious.
Gentle...break?
lol yeah she did a good job holding it together
Love chloe
Satire on Vance is not accurate. Vance gave precise answers and actually answered the questions and had to fact check the moderators
abc-snl-shameless media and fake news, but good actors
Very refreshing and truly funny. Great to laugh in general without siding one way or another. Great job.
I want a "guess what? and by the way." t-shirt so badly now hahaha
Brilliant
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This version of SNL where it lets mess ups happen organically is how I really enjoy it.
It's recorded live..... That's the whole point. I don't think there's any other 'version.'
@@johnshite4656 You missed Seetherens point.... Current and recent past SNL players have been doing fake mess ups in order to steal the skit, many skits had eroded into the cast just making themselves laugh while the skit is torched. In this skit the cast quickly recovered the mess-ups as opposed to slipping into an amateur skit, with no discipline.
@@ericlee2931 No one laughed because the mistake here wasn't funny at all; it just momentarily broke the sketch's rhythm. Also, there's nothing fake about catching a fit of laughter on live TV.
Are they really trying to pretend that Vance is the one who dodges questions, while they were backing the talking circle in Kamala Harris 😂😂😂😂
