I have been following all your videos and my body feels much younger. At 72, I still wake up with some tightness and less pain, but yes, there’s improvement everywhere. Thanks, Taro, I’ll keep working on these, as it is all positive for me!
Great 👍 We need to practice to focus more and more inside our body and retrain our brain so that the holistic healing takes place. Thank you Taro, for your videos as my nerves are feeling better and more relaxed than before.
Do you think myofascial pain can also be a result of wrong movement patterns? I have trigger points in my left lower back and hip. I'm following your videos and have noticed improvement in my leg strength and flexibility, but the pain is still there. Thank you so much for your helpful videos.
possibly. but regardless of pain type, improving quality of movement can help us move more efficiently and more comfortably. if you habitually move more from your lower back in functional activities, particularly one side more than the other side, your habiutal movement patterns can definitely contribute to back strain, so improving your movement patterns can change the underlying issues.
@@TaroIwamoto Thank you so much Taro. I really appreciate that you take time to read and respond to comments. Your philosophy of movement patterns and looking at the whole body holistically makes so much sense. I'll follow your advice and keep working on my movement patterns and hopefully will get rid of pain slowly. Thanks a lot 🙏
It's better to leave your neck alone, not stretch or massage if it's acutely strained. I would try breath awareness lessons. You can search for "breath awareness Taro Iwamoto" in YT search. Hope you'll feel better soon!
from my experience, that is closely related to the state of the nervous system, so regulating the nervous system is very helpfu. I like simple breath awareness lesson just before going to bed. You can search for "breath awareness taro iwamoto" on YT and will find one. Git that a try!
I have nerve irritation in my back at L4/L3 due to a slight bulging disc and a cyst. Do you have any advise, l am flexible but uncomfortable and pain varies from lower back to right leg at the inside knee and lower outside calf
My right side of head neck is uncomfortable when I wake up..when I press the hand it gets better but comes back later..same thing when I massage my leg it gets better

This worked! Thank you for your excellent explanation and for your work!!!!
Great!
ecellent explanation of why we have tight muscles and hurt. I just moved my hips around and my neck cracked!
Maybe this explains why I’m having so much trouble with my shoulders post wrist/hand injury
