    When I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I did several Feldenkrais exercises to help. I was amazed how much they helped! It took several times but it was amazing. This is why I follow you!

      Do you have any processed sugar in your food?
      I had fibromyalgia for 6 years until I stopped eating sweet foods like cakes and so on.
      I also had many blood tests to see what I was deficient in.
      Can I suggest you see a very good nutritionist rather than your doctor?

    I have been suffering from extreme pain in the neck and shoulders for almost two years now. The muscles in that area are so tight that I am struggling with dizziness and tinnitus. The muscles were so hard that everymovement made crunching sounds. No matter how much stretching and yoga or physiotherapy exercises I was doing, it only ever got better for a short while (a few hours at best).
    I have been doing the technique in this video for a week now. It's a miracle. My muscles are getting softer, I can move more freely, I can feel something changing on the inside of my shoulders, and even my tinnitus and dizziness already got a bit better. Thank you so much 🙏 for helping me get some quality of life back!

      While you cannot reverse degeneration that has already taken place, you can definitely improve your functions, movement quality, and comfort in your body, and prevent or at very least slow down joint degeneration with movement and nervous system retraining!

      @@TaroIwamoto yes. Not sure if moving is good for my elbow. Or is movement better.

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  Рік тому +3

      @@ernestomarquez6655 can you be more specific? what movements? Moving without awareness and attention can get you stuck in the same patterns, which stress your elbow the same way over and over, and that is probably not very good. It's not just what movement, but how you move. You change HOW YOU MOVE, and you will change HOW YOU WILL FEEL:) That's it movement retraining and nervous system retraining, which is what my channel is all about:) It all comes down to how well you understand YOUR BODY and how YOU MOVE, not so much about knowing anatomy, specific exercises, medical diagnoses. This is why I focus on helping people understand their body, how they move, and how they can move in an optimal way based on their body, rather than focusing on teaching stretching and strengthening muscles to "fix" various medical labels, that have nothing to do with their body, and their experience in their body.

    Hello, do you think that these movements can help for cervical instability?.✌️

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  Рік тому +1

      Hi! Let me ask you how you describe cervical instability, and how cervical instability might affect your daily activities. What do you think is a key skill to improve joint instability? I will give you my answer after your response:)

    • @luyzqint3760
      @luyzqint3760 Рік тому +1

      @@TaroIwamoto Well, first, I should say that the root of my issues are somewhere between C6 and T2, and that causes my cervical to become unstable, meaning, til to the right and always makes C1/C2 out of place, creating some scary symptoms, my brain becomes very foggy for lack of oxygen/blood going into the brain.
      I'm a little better since I started doing Feldenkrais, but I still have ways to go.
      Thank you ✌️

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  Рік тому +3

      @@luyzqint3760 Okay, now my turn:) Instability may be associated with genetics, or some conditions. Instability can only develop from overuse, which is quite common. Where you have instability (upper cervical spine) suggests that's where you move more from. You mentioned that your issues are C6-T2. My guess is that's hypomobile parts. Hypermobile parts are very often followed by hypomobile parts. This is NOT coincident. Our body, nervous system are designed to compensate. When you said your issues are C6-T2, you treat yourself as a machine, and apply mechanical fix to your body. This is what I have been emphasizing all along in my videos, AWARENESS is a key skill to improve our movements and functions. This holds true to cervical instability. You have to gain a greater awareness of your body and how you move in order to gain a greater control of your body. If you can't feel and sense how you're moving, then it's really hard to know what you need to improve. When you are moving more from upper cervical spine while you are not moving and integrating mid-upper thoracic spine, you are adding more instability to your upper cervical spine. So to answer your question, my intention for all my videos including this one is to help people gain a greater awareness of their body and how they move, and have a greater control of their body so they know what movements, activities are good for their body, what are not so desirable, and how to make modifications if needed. My videos are NOT stretching or strengthening exercsies. My videos are movement retraining and nervous system retraining so you can become an expert of YOUR BODY. Yes this exercise should help you learn how to reduce stress to upper cervical spine if you pay very close attention to your body and movements.
