By the way, this band formed in 1999. This song is the first track from their fifth album Nightmare, which they released in 2010. During the recording of the album, the band's drummer The Rev passed away. He had a heart condition and had laser eye surgery recently and was taking painkillers for both. He went out drinking with his bandmates and their close friends and his heart failed shortly after he went home. A lot of the songs he demoed were re-written lyrically to be about him, and Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater, one of his favorite drummers, recorded his parts for the finished album.

Avenged were one of my favourite bands on my teenage years, mostly because they switch from Hard riffs, to very melodic vocals, and back vocals too. And i like the accent, twang, on his voice, that many people don't like eheh. I really think you'll love these at least one of these from them, more "ballad" types, but not quite. It wasn't easy. I became severely depressed. It's a good thing that you had pre-recorded a few videos to tide us over, otherwise I would probably be on suicide watch by now. 🥴
(Yes, I'm probably inviting trolls to try to "cancel" me for "making fun of suicide," but I am not doing that, I am making a joke, please learn to laugh again; it is the absence of laughter which makes your life miserable and contributes to you wanting to make everyone else feel the same.)
For people making fun of your accent, or criticizing it, here is what I have found in life:
People and animals in general who are confident, tend to only speak when they truly have something to say; and when they do speak, it is with love and support and wisdom. People and animals who are deeply insecure, are the ones that bark the most, but it's all bark and no bite. Please don't take the bark from these little yappers as bites that hurt you -- they don't deserve to have you give them that much power and respect. They deserve no respect; probably don't even deserve recognition? Just let them yap and yap while you walk on to your destination, leaving them far behind to bark into oblivion...

I've begun to wonder if art in general is not oftentimes the same? We see art, including books and movies, reflect on the past, but how many times have books and movies been released that tell a fictional story that then more or less actually happens in real life? Oftentimes, what is fiction eventually becomes nonfiction. It is as if we are predicting our own future through fables, as if to prepare for that future before it actually arrives?
I was wrong about Avenged Sevenfold, as perhaps others are sometimes wrong about you. I had heard a couple of tracks in passing by Avenged Sevenfold, but perhaps they just were not the right ones, or perhaps it just was not the right time. Music can be subjective, and the appreciation for it can fluctuate with mood. I will say that I very much enjoyed this particular song, and I absolutely loved the reaction to it!
