      It’s making my blood pressure go up and I’m nervous about it

      @@lyrikwilliamstv Postpartum anxiety can have all sorts of negative effects on our bodies including raising blood pressure. Speak with your healthcare provider about ways to manage your anxiety. Try to sleep well, eat well, and exercise as well as using the tips in the video.

      I already have anxiety tho before pregancy something happen then things on my mind cause to be this way first experience dealing with something like this Forreal with blood pressure and I already have I think maybe switching meds might be good for me

      @@lyrikwilliamstv Switching medications is something that commonly needs to happen during and after pregnancy due to physiological changes that take place. Additionally, dosing sometimes needs to change in order for the medication to be effective. Talk with your healthcare provider about re-evaluating the medication you are using. I would also recommend you start cognitive behavioral therapy which is a form of therapy that helps change your disruptive thought processes. It can help you to recognize the negative, intrusive thoughts and reformulate them into more positive, constructive thoughts. It's important to look beyond medication to help with anxiety. Medication is just one piece of your recovery model.
