Just bought one. Great little interface.
1:18 Monitor Pan is very useful, but there is no clue on either the hardware or this software, that it requires a keyboard ALT press. A hidden feature, would be nice if there was at least a hint in the help menu about it.
How do you download this software after you've already registered your device AND reset your PC to a brand new install of Windows??? I've searched everywhere and there's no link or any clarity on where!

I for the life of me can't get Loopback to properly work with OBS and FL Studio 20. I see things moving, but I'm unable to hear the sound from FL.
Hello there, can you check that your system audio and your FL studio session are using the same sample rate?
Is there a way to keybind the channel mutes at all? It would be insanely useful to be able to bind the mute to a keyboard keypress/macro pad rather than having to move the mouse and click
I'm afraid there isn't currently a way to keybind in the EVO control panel. However, you can also turn the Mutes on and off by pressing and holding the button for that channel on the EVO itself.
Why didn't you make it possible to turn off the light indication when playing music and recording a voice? These annoying bulbs are insanely annoying!
how do i record my guitar in FL, but hear the music through my normal speakers? (Not the output on the device)

EVO 8 will have a software mixer allowing you to remotely control the interface when it is launched in the near future!
You can save your gain settings to profile so they are recallable?
Yes they are, simply go to File > Save to save a preset.
hello. immediately after buying the evo 4 , I ran into a problem with audio output through headphones .
it consists in the fact that when listening to/monitoring sound from a PC, crackling or artifacts appear, only through this external sound card.
I checked on 2 PCs and on 2 phones, the monitoring sound is hissing.
The problem is not with my PC and the 6.3 - 3.5 adapter, as I checked on another focusrite card, and everything works fine there.
Even went to another city to avoid electricity, all to no avail.😨

i have purchased evo 4 today i downloader driver from official website now the evo application does not opening. i have installed latest drivers. plz suggest or i have to return it if it doesnt work
The EVO app. may be open in your system tray or Menu bar. This is found in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen on Windows or the top right-hand corner on macOS. Fro here you can click on the small EVO icon and select "Show Control Panel" or "SHow Loopback Mixer.
If these options are not showing up then can you please doublecheck your USB connection between the computer and the EVO
@@weareevoaudio i tried it and it worked but the application is responding very slow just like lags, there is no problem in pc and window. The app doesn't coordinate with interface. When i take volume down from evo app it responds very late. Like after 5 seconds. Interface is working fine. But application feels like laging. Also there is no coordinatation in blinking LEDs of audio interface or software. I have reinstalled the drivers, after disconnecting hardware or upadted my window 10 to latest updates still facing the lag issue.
That's not normal behaviour for the app, so we can investigate, can you send details of your setup to support@evo.audio so we can investigate?
is there any way to disable smart mute ,whenever i connect my headpohnes studio moniters mute itself can i control them sepretly by using any other hardware or software
Smart mute is done via the hardware so I'm afraid it is not possible to disable this function.
VST support on this would be crazy
Does the app need to be always turned on?
No, you can close or quit the app and the EVO 4 will continue to function normally
Is it possible to directly output (to speakers) what is being inputted (using a stereo pair)? I’m looking to connect a DJ mixer to my speakers through it but also want my PC connected to them.
Yes, this is possible. Just press the Monitor Mix button and turn the control knob anticlockwise towards the inputs. You can then pan this in full stereo by pressing and holding the Monitor Mix button and turning the Control Knob clockwise.
IT´s an absolute shame that EVO 8 does not have the Monitor mix/pan button, as well , not being able to use in standalone mode, like EVO 4.
is this software required or is the Evo 4 plug&play without needing to have a software running.
This particular software doesn't have to be used. On a Mac it is plug and play, however on Windows you do need to install the driver to get EVO 4 to work. Even on a Mac we still recommend downloading the EVO App as it will give you access to the Control app as well as ensuring your EVO 4 is kept up to date with the latest features.

I can't get the app to work at all. It finds my device, asks me to update it, then crashes. I've tried every version of their software on their legacy driver page, hasn't helped.

Having the "Show Loopback Mixer" only available via right-click on the systray icon in Win10 is quite simply one of the most horrible UX fail I've ever seen. It's impossible to find the whole loopback mixer functionality unless you go to your website and specifically look for it. Should be a clear button on the EVO control panel to open it.

Does this require registration to work? Because I'm not seeing any of those menus. But I do see a registration prompt.
If you cannot see these windows, go to the EVO icon in either the System tray or menu bar and select "Show Loopback Mixer" or Show EVO Control"

Yes, the EVO control software is available for Windows 10 and 11

MacOS/ only? no iOS app for the iPad Pro?
There isn't a iOS app for the EVO 4 but you can still control the EVO 4 fully using the buttons and control on the hardware itself.

If you go to the Top right hand corner of the screen, you should see a a small EVO icon. Click on this and you can open the Control and loopback mixer apps.
