Being able to be used in live streaming is why I'm buying this. Other audio interface needs a lot of cables and extra phone/ipad to work properly. 10/10!
Hi will the new iPhone 16 Pro be able to power this directly with a USB C to C cable? Even with phantom powered mics?
Omg finally a video that is clear and direct!!! Thank you!
I want to use this interface with my PA system in my live performances. So my question is that I can connect the usb cable to an ac adapter like a mobile phone. Thank you and great video!
Hello, Yes this would work. You'd then just need to set the Monitor Mix control (Upper button on the right) all the way to to the left so you're hearing your Inputs through the speakers and headphones.
It works for me with iphone 13 , apple cck, aftermarket usb to lightning charging cable, cheapest usb3 hub that is powered via usb-c (5V 2A) and between hub and evo is some unbranded usb-c to usb data cable (beware: not all such cables are able to provide enough power, the same goes for the usb-c to usb-c cable between powerbank and hub). I use powerbank with powerdelivery on usb-c. I sed Audiobus3 to see that evo’s mics (2 small condenser mics) are visible. Thank you.
hey guys I got this SC months ago but didn't have any speakers, now I am trying to connect my new speakers but it seems that is not working :( help please.
Hey, can you get in touch with us at support@evo.audio if you're having technical trouble and we'll be able to help.
It is possible to record video and audio simultaneously, the idea is to record musical clips in outdoor areas.
Yes, you can use the Camera app with the EVO 4 or a third-party video capture app.
Is there an Audient Control app for iOS? I want to be able to control mic inputs gain separately on an iPad. Just bought an Evo 4 and already loving it! Thanks for a great product.
There isn't an iOS app at this moment I'm afraid.
Hi,thanks for sharing Evo 4 recording using iOS device,, can you also share some Evo4 video using Smaart Set-up and how to use and measure sounds..
Thank you for your suggestion! I'll pass this to our team and we can see what we can do!
A question! Is it possible to connect on an Android smartphone?
Hi there, unfortunately the EVO 4 isn't compatible with Android devices. Thanks.
Can we install the DAW in an android device ?
The EVO 4 has no current support for Android. With it being class compliant, it is possible to pass audio in and out of devices without drivers, so that means there's a possibility of getting audio in and out of an Android device.
There is no official support for the EVO 4 on Android and it will probably not work on all Android devices, so we would recommend against the use of Android with the EVO 4.
Hi , i just bought the new ipad pro. Can i use the Apple usb c-usb cable i got with it to connect the evo 4 to my ipad? I was just wondering whether that would lead to any latency or loss in quality since i won’t be using the original USB A-C cable provided with your product.
Hello there, It is absolutely fine to use a USB-C to USB-C cable and this will not affect the EVO's audio quality or performance.
Can I record audio through evo 4 in camera app on iPhone?
You can do this, you will need to open the camera app first before connecting the EVO however due to a limitation with the Native Camera app on iOS
Hi, this video is really helpful, thank you! I got another question, look I have a computer that works with USB B, not C and because of that I can just use two phantom power, but in the case that I would like to use the 4 phantom, could I use a Powered USB Hub as you're using it over here?
You may be able to get this to power all 4 channels but we cannot guarantee this will work flawlessly.
This is an awesome interface to do live streams with :)
WHAT about loopback on facebook or instgram would i be able to hear my audience if allow them on my live stream ???? why nobody talks about that???
Loopback isn't currently possible on iOS due to how the iOS audio system works.
@@weareevoaudio thank you for replying,,
@@weareevoaudio is it possible on android?
We don't officially support Android so its not possible either.
Audient id4 MK2 vs android 13, cubasis 3???
The iD4 MKII doesn't support Android I'm afriad.
Without hub isn't not function in scarlett there will be contacted if only adapter
I'm afraid I'm not sure what your question is. Could you contact us directly as support@evo.audio so we can help!
@@weareevoaudio my Q is i hav seen in others video that doesn't need hub adaptor but your video i hav seen hub
The Active Hub is only required on iOS devices with a lightening connector as this connector cannot provide the 5V, 500mA USB power that is required for the EVO to function. The Active USB hub provides this power instead.
If the iOS device has a USB-C port then it can be simply connected directly.
Ok sir point clear thankiu
Please do evo 4 configuration with different DAW.
I am currently using Adobe Audition for podcast and it was working fine but with the new update I'm having some trouble trying to get the right setup or channels to work with the loopback and to get to work with Skype
We will look into creating some guides like that. Make sure you check out the new Loopback Overview video which will show you how it works now, it's a bit different to how you might be used to: ua-cam.com/video/RRK4yxZrKwM/v-deo.html . If you still have issues then please get in touch via our support team and we will get you up and running again!
Hey, I notice at @3:15 in the video, cubasis seems to see 4 inputs? Just curious about that. Also I know that with the desktop software you can setup loopback, is that possible on an iOS setup?
Following, I am also interested in this before purchasing
Loopback isn't currently support on iOS as theres no Loopback Mixer app on iOS to control the loopback source.
Another problem .I use ipad. I have registered my evo 4 but unable to unlock cubasis 3 le from Arc promotions. Any recommendations ?
Once you've got the EVO 4 connected to your iOS device, Cubasis LE should recognise it and automatically unlock Cubasis LE from its Demo mode, allowing you to access the full features. If this isn't the case, can you please double check your connections between the iPad and the EVO 4 as it may not be being recognised correctly.
Is this compatible with the new iPad Air 4th Generation? It has usb-c connection. Would I need adapters for it or like the iPad Pro can it be directly connected? Super interested. Thanks!
EVO 4 is compatible with the new iPad air with USB-C, you'd simply need a USB-C cable to connect it.
How do you download cubase in your phone
On a compatible iOS device, you can simply download this from the Apple App store. Then simply open the app and connect the EVO 4 to unlock the full features.
Ok thanks dude
Hi, I bought everything and followed same instructions.. but at last I cant record into my iPhone 6s.. only I can hear out.. Please Help!!
Im sorry to hear you are having problems, can I check with you what Application you are using to record and what mic/instrument you are plugging into the EVO 4?
@@weareevoaudio I plugged in BM800.. it is working fine with port 1 using mobile.. port 2 is not working with mobile
For some reason the pre amp only turns on on channel 2 with my ipad. On a normal computer both 1 and 2 work fine.
What recording software are you using on your iPad?
so can i use this with a midi i terfa e plugged into the same hub at the same time as the evo, so i can connect a midi keyboard?
Yes, you should have no issues using a MIDI interface alongside the EVO 4 so you can use a MIDI keyboard.
I’m trying to record a video and use the interface with two mics connected. But one mic sounds left and other right? Is there a step I’m missing. If I change the iPad audio to mono it works but then when I share the video it sound only one side. How can I record video while using both channels ?
Also if I record video directly to iPad and one mic. That mic sound only on the left side. How can I use one mic and record directly into camera and sound is not panned left
Unfortunately this is just a shortcoming of the built in camera app on iOS where if you have a stereo input, there isn't. a way to force this to mono. You can either edit the videos after to make the audio central, or you can use a third party camera app that gives you more control over your audio settings.
@@weareevoaudio I found it on iPad it works. Go to Settings. Camera. Turn off “record stereo sound.” That way you can use one or two mics and they will be centered now
Thank you for sharing that solution with us! Glad you were able to get it to work.
Where can I buy all the connections from evo to ipad
An Apple camera connection kit and powered USB hub are all readily available from most major online retailers.
Can I use with mobile with starmaker singing app plz reply sir
If you are using iOS, then the EVO 4 should work with the Starmaker app you are using.
iOS means ??
iOS is the operating system that Apple uses on iPhones.
Please can I use same setup on my iPhone Camera?
The same setup will work on the iOS camera app, you just need to connect the unit after the camera app as been opened.
Thanks for sharing. I want to record on mobile device. May I know what type of USB Hub in psrticular?
Hi there, you'll need a mains powered USB 3.0 hub.
@@weareevoaudio thanks
Hi ! Does the EVO 4 automatically adapt its bitrate and sample rate to the music being played on Apple Music with the High-Res Lossless option enabled ?
Yes, the EVO 4 can play up to 96kHz 24-bits uncompressed audio.
@@weareevoaudio Super !
I've connected the audio interface to the IPad but Cubasis seems to ignore it. No "Evo4" is displayed.
Hello there, can you please double check your connection to the iOS device. If you are using a powered hub, can you ensure this is a data hub rather than just a charging hub? If you are having difficultly, please contact the team at support@audient.com
With this method can we connect two MV7 to the iPhone?
Yes, thss would let you use two MV7's mics on your iPhone
I bought this one a week ago, it's perfect 😍
I have only one question, which input should I use to connect my ukulele?
If the Ukulele has a pickup on it then you can connect it up to the instrument inout on the front and it'll appear on Channel 1 of the EVO 4
Hi! It’s the same thing for the evo 8 with the new ipad air M1? Thanks!
EVO 8 isn't officially supported on iOS as you would need access to the EVO mixer software to get full functionality and this isn't available on iOS. However, if you did connect an EVO 8 using the steps shown in the video you should get basic stereo input and output.
@@weareevoaudio thanks! Hoping for the ios support for my evo8. Will it come with cubasis as the evo4?
Its not possible to unlock Cubasis on iOS with EVO 8 I'm afriad.
@@weareevoaudio ok thanks for the info. One last question: it will be possible in the future to use the four outputs with an iPad? Thanks in advance!
We don't have any current plans in increase our support of the EVO 8 on iOS but I will feed this back to our team so they know there is a demand for it.
Where is my cubasis le3?????? Don’t show it in site? HOW tô install in my iPad?
Hi there, please follow the instructions to download here: arc.audient.com/en/promotion_registrations/78540/instructions - thanks
Any way to connect with Bluetooth?
Great video! Can the EVO 4 be utilized in plug and play situations? Say I want to quickly utilize on a friends laptop but cannot download Audient software for example? Thanks.
Hey Mo,
This is totally possible if your friend has a Mac computer, you can plug it in and the Mac will recognise it straight away. For a Windows machine however, you would have to download and install the driver.
EVO by Audient Thanks for the reply! Follow up as I’ve now made the purchase, can I plug in my fethead preamp directly into the EVO 4, or does it have to go into the mic?
You can plug your FEThead directly into the EVO 4's mic inputs using an XLR cable.
How to connect apple earpods with evo 4? I used TRS to TRRS connector but it's not working, sound is not clear.
The TRRS pinout of the Apple is slightly different to other TRRS pinouts (L, R, Ground, Mic rather than L, R, Mic, Ground) so you may need a different adaptor.
this just blows my mind
I followed your way to connect evo4 with my iphone. But there was electric noise in the background when I listen to my recording. Could you help solve this problem?
What mic were you using with EVO 4? Was it just white noise or some kind of hum? If you can give us some more information, we can help you troubleshoot this?
I recently purchased this interface. I am not getting audio in headphone when connected to headphone jack of EVO 4.
Can you check the output volume is turned up sufficiently and the Monitor Mix control is set to what you want to listen to.
If you are still having issues, can you please contact us at support@evo.audio.
Great video of setup with iOS device with Lightning connector. How would you then connect the EVO 4 to a Roland FP-30 audio out? Would like to use Roland FP-30 with GarageBand, utilizing the EVO 4 as the audio I/F. What does that look like?
On the FP-30, you would take the L and R outputs and feed these into the 1 and 2 inputs on the rear of the EVO. You can then feed this into Garageband via the EVO to record the piano.
Hi will this work with an iPad Pro only. I do not own a computer
Yes, this will work on an iPad Pro via it's USB-C conenction
@@weareevoaudio I understand it at work but iOS the question is do I need a laptop or computer to set it up for software firmware updates or everything will be done on an iPad? I don’t possess a computer or a laptop. Thanks again
Firmware updates cannot be done on iOS but the unit will ship with firmware that is fully functional on iOS.
@@weareevoaudio Ok. What do I do when the next update comes out? Is there an Evo app for the iPad? Also. Will this run with a powerable C Hub without the camera kit? Thanks for your replies. 🇮🇪
For future updates you would need to connect to an macOS or Windows machine I'm afraid. There isn't currently a EVO app for iOS, only for iOS and macOS. If your iPad has a USB-C port rather than a lightening port then, yes you can use it with a USB-C hub without the camera connection kit. If you have a iPad with a lightening port then you'll need to use a CCK.
哈囉,我一樣使用USB轉lightning也有另外再插電源供電可是我的iPhone 就是找不到我的EVO 4 這可以解決嗎 Hello, I also use USB to lightning, and I also plug in another power supply, but my iPhone just can’t find my EVO 4, can this be solved?
Are you using a powered USB hub as shown in the video?
Please guide me to connect Evo 4 with Android to stream live from my mobile!
Currently I'm using realme 2 pro!
Hey, if you haven't already, get in touch with our support team at support@audient.com and the team will be happy to help!
Do you need to update the firmware on a mac first before using the Evo on a mobile device?
If it's possible, we would recommend connecting to a Mac or PC, first which will allow you to update the firmware and will give you the most functionality.
Will this work with android device as well? The same set up?
I'm afraid we don't officially support Android devices at this moment in time
Hi. How can I use the audio loopback feature on IPAD?
Loop-back is not currently supported on iOS.
I'm trying to use this interface with Clubhouse. The audio seems to work well in other apps like Garageband, iMaschine, Apple Music (listening) etc. But as soon as I open the Clubhouse app, I cannot hear audio or I cannot use my interface mic. Everything switches back to iPhone (internal mic and speaker)
Hi Tim, please contact support@audient.com and we'll try and work this one out.
Hey! I interested on buying one of this but currently it's not aviliable on México. Do you have any information on when are this interfaces come to my country?
We are currently looking to expand our distribution in your region. Look out for the EVO range available in your country soon!
So why is it that when I make connections as directed on cubasis there’s NO Sound on my iPad after about 2-3seconds after plugging in the connection between my iPad and the evo4. If I try to watch your video if already connected in, then no sound out of my ipad or earphones?
There may be a problem with your setup, if you haven't already, can you please send a message to support@audient.com, and our team can help you!
Can I use USB-C to USB-A connector to connect the Evo-4 directly with Ipad?
If you're iPad doesn't have a USB-C port then you cannot connect the unit directly. You will need to use a Powered hub and the Camera Connection kit as outlined in the video.
can i capture video with de camera app, and capture audio from evo 2 chanells, 2 xlr mics connected, beign mic 1 at left side, and mic 2 at right side of the video audio channels ?
Yes, this should be possible with the Camera app on iOS.
Noticed with the Shure SM7B u are not using an inline preamp like a Cloudlifter of Dynamite. Would it be advisable to use one?
It really depends on what you are recording. The 56dB gain range of the EVO is usually enough when using the SM7B for recording but for more quiet sources such as spoken word, you may need an extra boost from something like a Cloudlifter.
Can you plug the EVO4 direct into an usb c android device? Android is not officially mentioned but I saw a demo on youtube, (maybe are there any limitations?). Maybe Audient did not optimize the hardware for all android devices that is why there is no official support (not 100% guaranteed).
There isn't any official support for Android I'm afraid. It may work on some devices as the EVO range is class compliant but we cannot guarantee it.
Is EVO 4 compatible with old ipad air without C port?
It is, you'd just need to use an Apple camera connection kit and an active USB hub top connect the EVO to the iOS device.
With a usb c iPad can you go direct into iPad usbc to usbc?
Yes, on a USB-C iPad, you can plug the EVO 4 in directly with no hub
Can headphones and speakers work simultaneously? Or Speakers would be muted when headphones are plugged in?
Smartmuting on EVO 4 will automatically mute the speakers when you connect a headphone jack to allow for accurate headphone monitoring
Hey EVO maybe you can help me make this decision so I am debating if i should get an IPAD PRO or a macbook air (the new ones) I am wondering how solid the EVO 4 would work with an ipad pro or should I just go ahead and get the macbook instead - this would be for VOICE OVERS, I want to recor in a vocal booth and I'm not to sure how good the IPAD PRO would be for recording with the evo 4.
The EVO 4 will work great on both the iPad Pro or a MacBook. For simple voiceover recordings, the iPad would work well with applications such as Cubasis or Garageband. You would have a greater variety of recording software to choose from on the Macbook however if that is important to you.
Does it need the “Lightning to USB 3” or can i use the “Lightning to USB Camera Adapter” instead.(the one that doesn’t have the lightning port)
I don’t mind not charging my iPad while recording.
You need with lightning port because ipad power doesnt enough for audio interfaces.
But can i just use it straight into ipad air 5 camera app tho?
It should be able to. The Camera app can be a little finicky so you may need to open the camera app first and then plug the interface in to get it to work.
this is broken from iOS and iPadOS 14.3 onwards. with iPhones you are unable to enable phantom power, the interface would disconnect and reconnect, even when you have a charger attached to the camera kit. On iPad Pro11 USB C,while screen recording you get an error and you screen recordings crash.
This isn't normal behaviour for the EVO. The EVO should take its power from the active USB hub so check that the hub can provide the correct power to the EVO.
@@weareevoaudio here you go, please have a look ua-cam.com/video/cQl38_pRv5A/v-deo.html

Hi! I’m having trouble connecting my iPad Air 4 to my just bought EVO 4 device. The smart gain red light is blinking but thereafter it remains like that only. Also the mic is not picking audio via garage band. PLEASE HELP
If the Smart Gain button is blinking red, it means it's not getting enough signal to see the gains. If you are using a condenser microphone, ensure that you have phantom power engaged and are using a XLR cable.
@@weareevoaudio thank you. The problem got solved and the reason was phantom power only.
Glad to hear this is now resovled!
Can you recommended which power usb hub can be use ?
Any USB hub that supports USB2.0 and will provide 5V bus power will work. Just ensure that the hub is a data hub and not a power hub.
I'm using an iPad pro4
It's working Plug and Play normal.
After recording, I listen to it on my iPad speaker.
One day, I monitored it on my headphone.
I know about smart mute.
But the iPad pro speaker won't work even after the headphone has been completely removed.
How do I fix it?
If you wanted to play through the iPad speaker, not through the EVO, you would have to unplug the EVO. As long as the EVO is plugged into the iPad it'll playback any audio through it.
I can´t see my EVO 4 on muy Iphone. How to add the EVO 4?
The EVO 4 should be used as the audio input and output automatically once its connected correctly. If its not working, double check your USB connection and ensure you are using an official camera connection kit and Powered USB hub.
Hey, is there be any possibility for android support with evo in near future?
There are no current plans to introduce Android support in the near future I'm afraid.
Would I be able to connect the EVO 4 to a camera and record both audio and video for a podcast?
The EVO isn't really designed to be connected up to camera so i'd probably advise against this.
I followed the setup, an EVO 4 with a condenser mic into a powered USB hub, Apple Camera USB to Lightning adapter into iPhone11 but I can't see Evo4 in Cubasis Le 3. May I know how to troubleshoot this?

Can you tell me where to get the "app".UPDATE: The way to download from Steinberg is very difficult as im just using for 1st time. Its alot to use this device with my GB on ipad..I need help, Can anyone make this make sense.
The App we are referring to is Cubasis or another iOS DAW such as Garageband. There isn't an EVO control app on iOS
I recently bought an EVO 4, on my registration page of ARC , it is not showing CUBASE LE 2 for ipad as an available software, are these software bundles different for different Nations ?? I am in India.
The Cubasis LE for iPad doesn't need to be claimed through Audient ARC like the other promotions, you simply need to install it on your iOS device from the app store. Then once the EVO 4 is recognised by Cubasis, it'll unlock the software automatically.
For powered USB hub, how much the power needed from the power supply? In between:
- 12V 2A (24watt)
- or 5V (the only detail from other usb hub)
12v 2a is sufficient enough? Thanks
You will need to provide the EVO 4 with a 5v, 500mA power supply for it to operate correctly.
Thanks for answering. At least 5v 500ma? Higher is okay too?
Apologies for not being clear, yes a higher powered port can also be used. 5V 500mA is just the minimum requirement.
Can i use this in games for voice chat in ipad?
While it's not something we've tried, You should be able to do this on iOS as the iPad will simply use the EVO as it's mic input.
Hi. I have iPhone 6, iOS 12.4.8 ... What app do you recommend to use with EVO4?
Greetings from Chile
Cubasis will work with EVO 4 through our ARC offer. Otherwise Garageband or Auria Pro are commonly used aps.
EVO by Audient Hello, thanks for answering questions. They are the only applications compatible with my iPhone 6.?
I believe all the applications mentioned above can be used on iPhone 6 depending on what iOS version you are using
Hi! I do every step, but I can’t unlock Cubasis LE3. It might unlock authomatically, but this does not happen. Any suggestions?
Hello, is the EVO 4 being recognised as an audio device in other apps as it may just be a connection issue with the EVO.
Hi, can this record to an iphone without a hiss?
The EVO 4 itself will not cause any hiss under normal usage when used with iOS.
Hi!
Would you be able to record an audio call, be it via Zoom, Skype or phone-call with the Evo4 connected to an iPhone?
The loopback function isn't available on iOS I'm afraid due to the way the audio system works on iOS
this needs a powered usb hub built into it.
can’t i just straight away connect the type c cable of the interface into an adapter and straightaway to my ios device?
The lightening port of the iOS device cannot provide enough current to power the EVO 4 fully, hence the need for an active hub.
i want to know how you do gaming video with evo 4 . Nobody is showing this .
Thanks for your idea, we'll pass it onto our video team.
Does evo 8 works with Iphones too ?
EVO 8 is not officially supported on iOS as you lose a lot of functionary compared to using it with macOS or Windows with the EVO Control app.
Hi, i recently bought EVO 4. Can you please give me steps how to set up live sreaming on facebook using EVO 4, i want to mix youtube karaoke sound on my computer and my voice on microphone connected to EVO 4 onto the facebook live. On facebook live which input i should select for mic? Loop back 1/2?
If you want to blend the microphone and audio from your computer together, the you'd need to open up the Loopback mixer and pull up the Faders for the Microphone and Main Output channels. Then in Facebook Live, select the Loopback input as your Input. Check out our Loopback Mixer video which explains how to do this.
Having trouble using an EVO 4 with a condenser mic into a powered USB hub, Apple Camera USB to Lightning adapter into an iPhone 8. I'm trying to use the camera app for video recording, and only about 1/5 of the time it actually records from the EVO. I always have a signal going into the EVO so the mic and cable are good, but four out of five times I record and then playback a video and the audio symbol is grayed out, meaning there is no audio on the recording. What is going wrong?
Thats a little odd. Are you connecting the interface after you've opened the camera app as the camera application won't use the interface if the interface is connected beforehand.
EVO by Audient I assumed I should do the opposite. I’ll give that a try. Thank you!
Will Evo8 work the same way with iPad (usb C)?
You will get basic input and output fro man EVO 8 doing this but it's not officially supported on iOS because there is no EVO mixer for iOS meaning you loose a lot of functionality of the interface.
Because of the covid pandemic video conferencing and live streams have become more important than ever.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a iOS controller App for the Evo on the App Store. For streaming and videoconferencing (teams, zoom etc.) I need to select inputs (e.g. mono input), output (e.g. on my airpods), an EQ + compressor + the usual stuff.
Is there anything in development? Or could you recommend an alternative app for this use case?
There isn't any software for the EVO on iOS I'm afraid. I'm not aware of a any apps that may let you do this but I'm sure someone from our UA-cam community will be able to assist.
@@weareevoaudio Thanks. Perhaps you should consider creating such an app! It would be a great USP for professionals working from home. Also, I understand that it has become more easy to create Apps for MacOS and iOS at the same time.

How can i listen to myself while recording?, whenever i plug my headphones into the headphone slot on the Evo 4 it doesn't work

Smart gain work on ios?
Yes, Smart gain will also work on iOS.
if you use it on your ipad, does it capture in 24 bits?
It should do, provided your app supports 24 bits as well.
I can’t record audio in FiLMiC Pro with my evo 4. Is this a known issue?
This isn't an issue we are aware of. Can you try opening FiLMiC Pro first and the connecting the EVO 4 to see if this helps it be recognised?
@@weareevoaudio I've tried that but it doesn't work. I get "Multi-Chann Audio Detected. Record more than 2 channels of audio is not This clip will not have an audio track. In that case, it does sound like Filmic doesn't support the EVO 4 because it has a multi-channel input so it may be something that Filmic need to add support for in their app.
how can i connect the guitar through evo 4 and iphone 6s+?
You can simply follow the instructions in the video to connect your EVO 4 up to an iOS device. You would then simply connect your guitar to the Instrument input on the front of the EVO. This will appear on input 1 of the EVO in your Recording app.
This might be a dumb question but...what if I want to film video with my iOS device aka phone while using the EVO4 + external mic? Is this not possible and you would have to film video and record audio separately?
For example, if I plug in EVO 4 as discussed here...would the video app on iPhone recognize it or revert back to its internal mic? Help 🤪 I’m a newbie!
This is possible on iOS. You'd have to open the camera application and then connect the interface afterwards. If you connect the interface first, it won't work due to how apple designed the camera app.
Hi, every time I connect my Evo 4 to my iPad the default settings of Evo 4 is reset even I changed them during the previous session. So, is there a way to save my settings on hardware level? I mean such settings as inputs selection, gain adjustment, stereo linking, monitor mix… Thanks.
Hello there,
You can save your control app setting by going to File > Save. You can then simply recall this by going to File > Open and picking your preset. This allows you to save multiple settings for different scenarios.
does anybody know if it is possible to have zoom calls and record through plug ins in Cubase through iOS and send that mix(compression eq, rx noise reduction ect.)also to the listeners on the other end of the call in real time? Basically I’m asking if it’s possible to make a mix on Chanel inputs 1&2 in cubase (eq compression) Monitor and send that mix in real-time to the listeners on the other end (zoom call) and record all of that as well. And would I get a separate recording from Chanel 1&2 and also separate recording of what’s coming from the iPhone,so Chanel 3&4?
On iOS, it's not possible to adjust the loopback mix so I don't think this would be possible I'm afraid.
I have all of the connectors and adapters and it seems that my iPhone won’t even attempt to read my Evo 4. My iPhone is up to date, although I do need to check the Evo firmware. Just curious if anyone has had this problem and could point me in the direction of solving it. No error messages or anything, just seems there’s literally zero connection. I went to record into GarageBand and Cubasis LE3 and it seemed that my phone would only try to record through its internal mic, and Cubasis wouldn’t get out of demo mode.
If you are having difficulty could you please send a message to us at support@evo.audio with details of the exact adaptor/hub you are using and we'll help trouble shoot this
Anyone have recommendations/links to powered USB hubs that work with Evo 4 and iPhone? I bought one but I’m having compatibility issues :(
Any USB hub that supports at least USB2.0 should work with a Camera Connection kit on an iOS device. Ensure the hub is a data hub and not just a power hub for charging mobile devices.
Hello, Can i use it with Tonebridge ?
EVO should work with Tone Bridge as far as I'm aware.
Not working for me.. LEDs just keep blinking and making some noises and buttons don't work at all
I'm using ipad 6 gen
If the LEDs are just pulsing then this can mean the unit isn't getting enough power to boot up. Can you send more details about your setup to us at support@audient.com so we can look into this for you?
