Imagine the competency it takes to memorize literal hours of choreography. As someone who danced competitively in the past, I can assure you it isn't something someone "mentally unfit" can accomplish. The average person probably couldn't even pull it off. That judge needs to be investigated

Britney's case really reveals the danger of conservatorships - once you label someone as "mentally incompetent", how the hell is that person supposed to prove they ARE competent ever again; and how are they supposed to prove abuse? When you accuse someone of being crazy, ANYTHING they say can be thrown away as "another delusion".
There's a reason that in my country, when someone's genuinely sick enough that they need involuntary care, it's not just left up to the family to decide when that person's well again. It's left up to actual doctors.

The facts that Britney cancelled her show because she was done with being controlled with meds and by her dad is powerful. Part 5 is going to be nuts.

The thought that Britney may have been pregnant with a child she 100% wanted and that her father forced her to either terminate it or secretly give it the system is so horrifying.

I am pretty sure that Brittany has now eluded to this being the case.
And her sister later said in her book that she was pressured to terminate her pregnancy. But she didn't as they didn't have the same level of control over her as they did Brittany.
This series is more upsetting than a horror movie. Literally binged all 4 parts so far today and the feeling of EVIL is overwhelming.

The saddest part watching this is seeing a vibrant pop queen, who I adored when I was a young girl, fade to noticable dullness. Her spark is gone behind her eyes. She's gone through so much and has been hardened by life. When she was young she was magnanimous and vibrant, all smiles.

I HATE that people call it 'her breakdown'. It was her getting back at stalkers who made money with HER life. I see no issue with punishing where punishment is due.
Right?! Like she mentioned in the book, what she had REALLY wanted to do was to hurt that paparazzo (can’t remember if she said she wanted to hit him with her car, I think that was it though 😆) - yet she also knew that was just what they wanted from her, so they could file a lawsuit.
So how exactly is it a “breakdown” (loss of mental functioning/reasoning) when she knew EXACTLY what she was doing?
No, it was pure, unadulterated, completely justified RAGE. And she did what she could to express that rage as much as possible within the boundaries of the law.
I remember when I saw it I didn’t think she was crazy at all. I thought, “poor Britney, how the hell is anyone surprised by this?! With the way they taunted her and relentlessly stalked her, I’m only surprised that she didn’t fight back SOONER.”
She's always smiling but her eyes, those are the saddest eyes I've ever seen, filled with hurt and dead tired.

Not just hurt and exhaustion. I can't imagine how much frustration, bitterness and, even more, how much unspeakable anger she's hidden in her. Yes, she's one of the most down-to-earth celebrities, and has never openly expressed grudges against anyone. Still, I think she's had to deal with so much anger at the media, K-Fed, her parents, Lou Taylor, and everyone else who's gone out of their way to exploit and use her for financial gain. Maybe she's also angry at herself for the mistakes she's made, though in all honesty the majority of her problems are the faults of others.
As much as I would like to see justice for her, I truly hope that she has forgiven (or will forgive) everyone who has treated her badly. I truly hope that she loves and forgives herself as well. It's perhaps the only way she can find inner peace.

You can't tell me Britney's dad didn't pay off those doctors and judge to rule in his favor. They cut a deal somewhere. There is no way she is capable to do as much as she did, but can't make decisions for herself. The judge needs to be looked into.
Her mother is to blame too. It's like her parents made her just to work and make money. It's so disturbing and heartbreaking.

Crazy to think just after Britney's 'breakdown' the internet & social media revolution happened. No artist today would go through half of what she has.

For real. They always discredit her. A whole law was inspired to what happed to her, mj, and princess diana, Amy winehouse, etc. back then, there were no laws, the can literally be in front of her taking pictures while she gets to the car, there is literally dozens of videos in UA-cam of her tryna go to a store or her car with paparazzos blocking her. When she was in the ambulance, paparazzos were chasing the ambulance and even manage to get a footage of her in the ambulance window. When I say something about it, people will literally come for me saying, “well now we have phones, everything can be taken vid or pictures of celebrity and get uploaded”...like okay, that is still so awful...but back then, the paparazzos literally 1 inch close, and has no sympathy sitting next to the table Britney was eating or with her baby just to take damn pictures. Constantly being followed even at her home(today, paparazzos can’t be doing that. And to think Britney had at least 60+ paparazzos Everytime she goes out🤢ugh.
Was just thinking about that, I've had breakdowns, ended up in the hospital, but she must've felt a lot worse than me to do what she did, it physically hurts me to think about how she must've felt and feels.

I know someone who gave Brittney a massage during her Vegas residency. She was not allowed to speak to Britney and they had a security guard in the room. Britney asked for a Starbucks coffee and was not allowed to have one. It’s despicable how she’s been treated. I have mental illness too, but take my meds and am easily able to make rational decisions in life. If she can hold a job and perform, how come she’s not allowed access to her hard earned money?
Three words: control, control, control. That's what her dad wanted. He and her mom basically made her train to become a performer and when that happened and she got as big as she did, their problems were solved. When she started cracking under the pressure, he likely was worried about losing the money she was earning and got the conservatorship to maintain control over her for his own selfish reasons. And he kept other people who could expose him and the others as the manipulative people they are by making them look like they had the worst intentions for Britney. It's just so complicated.
Britney is probably the strongest most hardworking artists of this era. I’ve gained so much respect for her watching this documentary and hope she’ll get all the freedom she wants.

I can imagine Britney’s vocals being badly damaged from singing in the baby voice for all these years. Britney has been through so much. Our Queen is still being used and abused. honestly its so disappointing to see that even the new judge isn't rectifying the neglectful ways the old one handled Britney's conservatorship. especially recently with Britney actually formally making a plea to remove her father from it, only to have it extended to 2021 where they'll 'review' his involvement then. I hope someday soon britney is able to get out of this incredibly obvious abuse of power situation and be HERSELF without anyone controlling her :(

That’s what makes it so frustrating, they’re just choosing to “ignore” it because they care more about a paycheck than they do a human being.

I wish more fans understood what it's like to be psychiatrized in the mental health system. You can get a psychiatrists to diagnose anyone and strip them of their rights. It happened to me and many others. I just wish people would wake up and see that it was the psychiatrists and mental health professionals who put her in this prison to begin with. It really bothers me that her family can get her diagnosed with something she doesn't have, but I can't get diagnosed with autism which I very clearly have and there is notes of it in my medical file. Money fucking talks and it's not pretty.

It completely disgusts me that we have laws that actually allow and support something like this to happen to a person. I know slavery is most likely too harsh a term to use for this, knowing the connotations and past history with this word, but this is what this sounds like, almost. Had I of experienced what she experienced, especially as a mother, I would've smashed an umbrella into a car and shaved my head too... that desperate grasp for anything she can control. And then to have a level head during competitions and interviews? Wow. She keeps finding strength to escape. I just hope the best for her, she needs to be free and finally living a normal life, she deserves to marry again, have more kids and travel because she has been working since 8 and she can't even use her money as she wants to.
