White oak is rare is it not. The Navy has about 40 acres in Kentucky I think for keeping the USS Constitution afloat. And this comes from a guy in Canada.
Almost always, unless I’m cutting Walnut. When I cut Walnut, I actually create a lip, that’s not really attached, and it sits into a grove, and it looks like a hinge! But nothing is actually attached. However, you don’t get near the aim

You need to sharpen that saw so it will cut white oak
Apparently you you either didn’t see it, or you don’t know, it takes a very sharp saw to make a white oak stump that flat across the
