- Welcome back to our Aprilia RS 125 Two Stroke restoration rebuild project for part 5 in the series. The Aprilia RS 125 is starting to take shape and in this video i'll be replacing the starter motor. I will show you how to tap the swinging arm to fit paddock stand bobbins. We will be rebuilding the Aprilia RS 125's pillion pegs, fitting new black wheels with Michellin Tyres. Finally I will be fitting a new chain roller to the Aprilia RS 125
The Aprilia RS 125 rebuild is almost complete with just a few final details to finish. Stay tuned for more two-stroek videos coming up in the next few weeks.

It's coming along rather nice, the black wheels are gorgeous. The guy at Robyn racing is an absolute legend in the RS 125 scene here in Belgium. If he doesn't have the parts you need I'm pretty sure nobody has them.
Price was good and delivery was really fast so its a thumbs up for me! Thanks for watching, I think the wheels are much nicer and more importantly they're original colour :)
@@letsreviewit8925 pjme has the lot
This is what I'm looking at doing, cutrently looking for thats not completely wrecked but even thats a hard task now! Cant wait to see episode 6
Thanks for watching, there arent many good ones out there people are asking for silly money now.
Can't wait for you to take her and us out for a spin..
Thanks man for letting us join u on this build journey 🤙🏻
Thanks for watching - its definitely been a journey! :)
Nice one! ✊🏻💨💨
Loving this series. Took my RS125 out today, great little bike, makes me feel 18 again, except then I had a dog slow CB125!
Right on!
I'm so glad its not just me that makes rookie mistakes :) Great build, it's going to be showroom ready when you're done.
Hope so! Thanks for watching
Can't wait to hear it rev... mine is apparently 30+bhp.. and she really sounds like it when she revs.. I have rode her and she pulls hard for a 125.. so I belive it.. she's stripped down to rolling chassis and engine.. not going as far as you yet.. just making sure everything works.. but I will be in about six months.. hopefully she will turn out as nice as yours..
Nice house btw. Oh and its a great video.
What a build bike is absolutely mint good job mate
Thanks for watching Robert, shes getting there. I'm itching to rise it now
Great material. Waiting for more
Thanks for watching, next vid coming soon 👌🏻
No worries on the pace. I Just have mine completely disassembled. I'll be cleaning every nut and bold. Nice tips on the parts sites. Cheers!
Glad it helped, thanks for watching hope the build goes well!
@@letsreviewit8925 Yeah, like you stated in a previous video. There is always a new job. But then again. it is gonna be mint. Your videos are really motivating to keep going. Your bike(s) look nice
Looking good 👍 great video loved the helmet comment you sounded like Sacha baron Cohen
great series of videos, really useful, I've actually bought myself an rs125 about a month ago and have been doing it up
I bought that same chain roller from PJME for my 2007 RS125. I noticed you put a small washer then the oem large washer on one side, on the other side you appear to have to put only the oem large washer. This would cause the large washer to bind on the roller. With the 2 small washers added to each side of the roller and the oem washers, the chain aligns with the right edge of the roller, rather than in the centre, but this is better than a binding roller.
PS; you RS125 needs a JollyMoto exhaust to bring out the 2Stroke sound. Those Arrow pipes sound tinny in comparison
I’m new to you channel and enjoy your videos.
Great video once again! Will checkout the Facebook links too as I'm in need of many new parts for mine. Thanks to your videos my rs is currently just a frame and wheels! :D New engine coming this week with an arrow exhaust and new sticker kit arrived yesterday to take it back to the original design. It's a lot of work but will be worth it!
Its hard and expensive but I have to say very rewarding. Stick with it - will be worth it in the end :)
Once again brilliant video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks great 👍
Thanks 👍
Been waiting for this for ages 👍👍 love this well done buddy
Fantastic job 💪💪👍👍
Thanks for your support Matt, stay with us :)
@@letsreviewit8925 I've really enjoyed following this.
It's even got me to try doing my own, building a koi pond.
Could do with some advice on make UA-cam videos 😂😂😂
Great mate... so enjoyed your videos.....
Glad you like them! Thanks for supporting the channel.
Tebaik👍👍
You have the plates on the rear pegs the wrong way round. As it is the ball bearing will lock the pegs down rather than up.
its looking well, whats the part number for those new indicators from high level.thanks
1 more thing what you doing with the white wheels can I buy them off you please
can you give me the link for the indicators? :)
When’s the update! I can’t wait!
Still waiting for bodywork sooooo frustrating
😭😭 fingers crossed it’s soon 👍
Hey where did you get your body work from. Thanks
Hiya I ordered it from a company I’ve used before in china
Please can you give me a link to buy the fairings bushes?
It’s in the video description
Thanks, my old browser don't display the video description. Anyway was able to read it with another browser.
What was the deal with the rear indicators flashing white? I thought you said these were off a Ducati?
Not sure where you got the Ducati link? They're white LED's so they flash white. Normally they'd have either a filter or orange LED's. :(
Hi I have a problem with my Aprilia
Sorry for my english ;(
My chain roller was the same as yours like half of it just desapeard ;)
Now I have same roller as you and I mounted IT like you and IT dont want to roll. I knew i could be to tight but i isnt because these metal ring on the sides roll with the roller and the chain ist on the middle of the roller, but on its side. Can someone help me?
Hi mate, how long does the black hammerite last on exhaust? as iv tried VHT without much joy to be honest. the header manifold bolts rusted even quicker than my header. so allen key just spun inside :/ was a nightmare. im now thinking of getting the new one electroplated. but if hammerite works?? (thanks for any help/advice) :)
If you get rid of the surface rust that you're covering and treat it, it should last a year or more. Sadly once rust has taken its incredibly difficult to get rid of.
@@letsreviewit8925Thanks for your help. its just the header (swan neck part), what gets the corrosion the worse. as soon as winter comes and they put the salt down. Do you know if they can be electroplated? someone told me powdercoat, but that would be ceramic, and way to pricey. :/ (Arrow street version).
@@flanno9 electro plating would work, but no idea how it would hold up. I'd paint it and see how it holds up. Regular checks/cleaning is the key mate
@@letsreviewit8925 ok mate, thanks again. ;)
@@letsreviewit8925 Can i ask you another quick question please mate? did you have to open up the hole for your rear bobbins, if so what size drill did you use? (thanks for any help/advice)
