- In this video I talk about selling the Aprilia RS 125 following the rebuild and restoration. The bike flew through its MOT and initial road test before being sold to its new owner. I've already purchased another bike which also needs restoration its a 2001 RS 125 with 150cc big bore kit on it - this should be interesting.
Thanks to the new owner for supplying some of the footage. We will revisit him once the new bodywork arrives.
Thanks to Ultimate Parts, PJME, Aprilia Performance, LCP Bike Breakers for your support on the buld.

Just binged this entire build. Excellent stuff - thanks. I'm possibly looking into a Cagiva Mito (or an RS) here in Mexico for a fun track bike - so this was a great resource.
I really enjoyed watching this series, cannot wait to get stuck into RS number two!
Well done James keepnuploading enjoying these clips
Yes! Been waiting so patiently for this episode, thanks man.
That 2nd RS looks like my first one from 20 years ago, its about the same condition.
Thanks for sticking with us and sorry for the delay, we've been itching to release this one :)
@@letsreviewit8925 Ive been keeping myself busy by riding mine, ive got a few vids uploaded, not that entertaining but still. More to come once the Rave solenoid arrives and new carbs jets.
good to see a new release! keep the 2 strokes alive !!! :D
Im trying one at a time haha
@@letsreviewit8925 i just bought an aprilia rs125 1999 and i still cant believe how much fun this bike is !! I hope to see more rs125 on your channel :D
Love to watch this new build, I have just bought an rs125 99 model and it pretty much needs a full tear down clean, there's grease and muck over everything. Engine is fine and frame in great but does need new plastics and probably alot of small things it's completely original with low km but you can tell it hasnt been cleaned very well. Also can you let us know the difference you notice with the 150cc kit I am thinking to get one. Thanks
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
For services to inertia I salute you sir......🇬🇧🏁
Nice one!
Thank you! Cheers!
curious on what you'll do with the forks. The upgrade kits are expensive and mostly for the newer model. I've done a nut and bolt resto on these and went with the bitubo rear shock en stock front with some heavier weight oil (15w). the rear is great, the front is not firm enough for me (104kg).
Hi Ken, new rear shock and heavier fork oil in radial forks I think 😊
I've got an RS 125 that's been in storage for 13 years. It's done 3500 miles. 3 owners. Plan to restore it one day
I would really want to see how i looked with the new farings :)
Will most likely get some photos on social media when done
I’ll make sure to send Ben the photos over so everyone can see it completed
Could you do a build series like you did with the Original RS125 with the new one which you wanna do the race hybrid please ??
Nitin Arun I’m working on it right now buddy next few weeks and she’ll be online
@@letsreviewit8925 Legend ...thanks alot, I loved the series so I wanna see another
Cool. Letting projects go before 100% finished must be somewhat of an anti-climax. However....... nice new project.
It wasn’t ideal but better that it gets some use rather than just sitting in my workshop
@@letsreviewit8925 Put it in the living. ;-) Finally finished mine. (short slideshow here: ua-cam.com/video/yqLErBGNHNU/v-deo.html )
Where did you get your body kit thanks
Luke B MFS Motors in China
What crankshaft is in the new rs125 you have with the 150 kit?
Harry Oliver not sure mate why’s that
Lets Review It you need a race crank for a bore kit because the standard crank from Aprilia can’t handle the strain and power
I’ll have the engine out as part of the build anyway so shall see
Lets Review It yeah it’s just a precaution because if not the standard crank will be dead within 500 miles
Lets Review It keep up the great vids love the old 2 strokes
Imagine Restoring it to this standard, for the new owner to then go and slap some tacky mods back onto it again. Such a shame.
Solo le falta pintarla con otros colores... Es la Aprilia más fea que viene jamás
Como proyecto un 10
Not a very good ending really it would have been good for you it actually finish the project 🤔
All that work to go to someone whos going to mod it and have it look shit again. Disappointed.
He isn't modifying it Matt - hes putting the fairings on it that I've ordered and increasing the carb size :)
I’m not going to make it look shit don’t you worry
@@letsreviewit8925 he did say he was going to do more, hebjust didnt listbthe cosmetic stuff. just a shame as the stock bike is a gem, especially one in near mint condition, and rare!
Matthew Waters it will stay stock looking
