Alteration is the easiest skill to level up, but I just wish I could pick up and throw people with a high level telekenisis spell. Imagine just running around shooting your enemies out of the map.....
Daniel Oswalt The Vampiric grip spell from vampire lord allows you to do something similar. There are also mods to make this spell usable out of vampire lord form.
Telekinesis is so awesome in games. My favorite thing to do with telekinesis was in Bioshock; using peoples body like yo-yo's, since getting hit with a body was an instant kill.
Not happy that he didn't mention that perks/stones retain their higher bonus even if you get cured of Vampirism. As long as you don't reset the perk you get to keep the the NecroMage bonus.
Necromage is extremely powerful if, and only if, you decide to become a vampire. Otherwise it does very little. Extra Effect in the enchanting tree doubles your enchanting slots. That's insane no matter what you're going for. Assassin's Blade in the sneak tree takes daggers to 15x damage on a backstab. That's insane for anyone who uses sneak. Quiet Casting means you can shout your lungs out and nobody will hear it. The tactical options are immense. But, to me, the biggest and most powerful perk in the game has got to be Merchant in the speech tree, enabling the player to get rid of all their junk at any given trader regardless of type.
Maron X you can be a vampire and be any class. Like on every single play through I do I either become a vampire or a werewolf just so I don’t have to deal with contracting diseases

Yes. However, the bonus for getting snakeblood while being a necromage vampire will still remain if/when you "cure" your vampire state (and thereby loose the vampire's immunity to poison). So it still makes sense to do that perk combo if you are planning to not stay a vampire for the rest of the game (for example, you may want to be "cured" so that you can again trade with the Dawnguard merchants, who will just refuse to work with you if/when you are a vampire).

For the vampire khajit don’t forget to add the ring of the “beast” i think, it’s the counterpart to the ring of erudite. NorthernDragon Indeed. But I think that the difference between Skyrim and past Elder Scrolls games is that it took a lot longer to basically become a God. If you're dedicated, it really doesn't take all that long in Skyrim to get to a point where nothing is a threat to you.

Dual flurry works with bound weapons if you haven't taken the soul stealer and banish perks. Weapon class is what affects swing speed though so bound dagger swings as fast as any dagger. Weapon weight only affects stamina used in power attacks.
omg thats amazing, i was using a dagger in my left sword in my right any time i dual wielded but not because of the left hand datermins speed thing but because thats how you properly hold dual wield weapons irl
Before watching this, my guess for best perk was Extra Effect because you can double the enchantments on your wears and weapons, thus making you so much stronger.
spent all morning looking for a video about this perk. went to the movies, came back, and behold, as soon as i load youtube, the ideal masters have blessed me with there divine knowledge. cheers boys.
15:41 You couldn't be more wrong there. Simply being a Khajiit, your fists do the same base damage as a Dragonbone Sword, and it really shows early game when you're doing so much damage. Add on top of that the fortify unarmed enchantment, even without the fortify restoration glitch, and Daedric Gauntlets, and you'll be doing insane damage.
best perk - Merchant in Speech tree. with that you can go to a merchant trainer, buy training and sell them some expensive potions (ie Blue Mnt. Flower + Hanging moss + lavender) and get that money back.
It's unfortunate that the unofficial patch removes all the awesomness from necromage perk even if you're a vampire. With the unofficial patch the perk works the same for vampires than it does with normal mortals. I also don't want to uninstall the unofficial patch because it fixes so much other stuff.
the best part is that your weakness to fire is irrelevant with 100% spell absorption since you'll just absorb the fire anyway. Only problem would be fire enchanted weapons though
Doesn't spell absorption also absorb the magic enchantment of a weapon strike as well? You take the normal damage, reduced by armor as normal but then the elemental damage is absorbed?
Good info but at 7:26 you mentioned after the fact: “you have to get Necromage BEFORE you get perks you want a 25% bonus applied to” and then glossed over how to reset perks…so I’m playing through my first time and I have a handful of perks I need to reset - but that “black book” you mentioned seems to require a whole ‘nother video
Could you make a playlist where you separate your lets plays from say the perks or lore? not saying i don't like your lets plays or streams, but I'd like an easier time watching your perks or lore without getting interrupted by a letsplay or build etc...
olo Zephyr... Bound bow has the same speed as auriel's bow and Zephyr w/o the enchant, but thanks to the enchant Zephyr is 30% faster than both... Also the enchant of Zephyr gets boosted by the necromage perk making the diference even bigger
As the unarmed build you can also disenchant the pugilists gloves to enchant your daedric gauntlets for additional unarmed damage. You can get the pugilists gloves from first getting to the rat way in riften, shortly after beginning the theifs guild quests. Some lowlife attacks you wearing the gloves.
It should be noted if you are playing with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, the "Necro Mage also improves effects on playable vampires" effect is removed, because, for some reason, they thought it was not intentional by the developers.
I would say: 3. Necromage 2. Extra Effect. 1. Twin Souls. Currently I'm doing a run on legendary without using smthing, alchemy and enchanting perks and I have to use deadric artifacts as much as possible (helm, ring, armor and either 1h weapon + shield or 2h weapon. I can say that I still feel overpowered just because I have Twin Souls. Most of these deadric artifacts aren't good either.
Can I be a vampire and then get the necromage perk to get these benefits? Or do I have to get the necromage perk while human and then become a vampire??
Heres a trick, play as an orc for the beserkers rage racial ability, activate it, then, activate the dragon aspect shout and use a necromage vampire with a strong spell in the left hand and a dragonbone sword in the right.
Best Perks?? The best perks are crafting perks specially enchanting and alchemy. Just enchant clothes that fortify alchemy and then craft a potion that fortifies enchanting and use it then craft clothes that fortify alchemy again with higher percentage then enchanting potion again and so on till you become the strongest in Skyrim. If only same could happen in real life, one could raise their IQ to 1 million.
Took me a few years till I realised this was possible. Then crafted some god armor and effectively made the game super boring. Everything became a one hit kill and nothing killed me except for falling off of the biggest cliffs.
Fudgemuppet can you help me get back into skyrim.... I wana use mods but I want friendly mods and I just get really bored of doing the same story. Also I'm a pc player.
This depends on how many mods you want. Do you want it modded to hell or only some to change it up? Either way the definite basic mods you should get are: Alternate Start, Ordinator, Immersive Armours, Bruma Beyond Skyrim My game is heavily modded so I have others too that help with immersion. I also use smaller mods like various city overhauls (because I hate the cities in Skyrim), Imperious Races Of Skyrim, and AI overhauls
Quest mods, quest mods, and more quest mods. Some of the best are already mentioned, but I'd also recommend Project AHO, Clockwork, and The Forgotten City. All 3 deal with Dwarven lore and each will add a minimum of 5-15 hours.
Actually... A female khajiit werewolf hybrid version of a barefisted character with maxed out barefist damage enchanted daedric gauntlets and right most one handed perks (dual wielding perks) would be the strongest character without mods/cheats. :) My character was Ri'va Adhari, a *Cannibal* khajiit tribe leader out for revenge against the men and mer for slaughtering her tribes people and specifically, her daughter... She'll only trade with khajiit, has no care for helping unless it profits her in some way and has no qualms with any daedra. I also had her become a mix blood hybrid (werewolf/vampire lord) because more power is always better. ×3
WEll... +100 carryweight is way better... since it affects truely EVERYTHING. If I dont use spells, necromage is absolutly useless. "Avoid death" also very crucial for everyone who seeks a fight. "Magic resistance" is also great (30% magic resistance) "Shadow warrior" is probably the most broken perk against any non dragon (become invisible for a splitsecond when crouching in combat) Every other perk is specific to a certain playstyle and has requirements (use magic, use X armor/weapon) those 4 perks are useful for everyone at least to some degree. (from top to bottom overall effectiveness)
With it, the dual flurry is fast, and with the Blood Thirst, a Creation Club content sword, on your left hand, the sword or dagger on your right hand will be extremely fast
i LOVE discovering these build vids 5-10 years after the fact and after I've discovered I can't use the higher level spells to build levels in magic skill without dedicating the build to them alone :P
My man, this video is a little dishonest. You know you're essentially fibbing to dabblers and newly inducted. To the old timers, you're giving us info we likely know by now. And that part is fine. But it's not a great perk for every build. It's an exploit given that you don't mind a few preliminary requirements that will heavily define the first part of my playthrough and the rest of it to follow.
An Archer with light armor can be an unstoppable one hit kill machine by level 40ish. Archery - all perks. Smithing - All perks. Enchanting - around the left to dual effects. Destruction - Up to augmented fire, flames, frost. (for enhanced chaos damage from bow) Smith a powerful dragon bow that does over 500 damage per shot when wearing enchanted gear and on top of that enchant it with Chaos damage. Use sneak attacks often. No perks required just level it to 100. Smith ancient shrouded armor to over 700 rating and enchant ring and necklace with archery and magic resist.
Dps build: dual flurry, necromage, elemental damage perks, maxed out enchanting and smithing, stahlrim dagger in left hand and mace in right, follow fudgemuppet most powerful weapon vid, vampire. I would say elemental fury shout, but that won't effect enchanted items. Also enchanted armor, jewelry and such to increase one handed damage.
Don't know why it wasn't mentioned in the video, but if you have the unofficial patch for the game, the Necromage perk will not work on vampires as it was originally intended. For some insanely braindead reason, the guys behind the unofficial patch decided to make the one perk that vampire builds are 100% built around....... just not work. It just works as if you were a mortal, making the perk of course 100% useless. There is a mod though that fixes this huge mistake on their part though. Just look up USSEP Necromage fix so that way you can still use the unofficial patch and actually use the perk as it was intended.
TY for that. I was thinking of doing a vampire with necromage, but brother told me that the patch nerfed that. Again...TY. You explained it better than anything I could find on the net.
remember it increases your weakness such as the atronach -50% magicka regen, and your fire weakness. also the stat reduction in the sun is increased. also no conjuration with 100% spell absorb
It should be noted that in the base game, drain vitality used by Ancient and Revered dragon are unaffected by spell absorption. Also, the issue with using a bound bow in an archery build is that it cannot be smithed or enchanted like a regular bow. Zephyr is also a faster bow (I think) than the bound bow and if you max out on smithing enchants/potions (without using restoration exploit ofc), the difference in base damage should be negligible.
doing the calculations at stage 4 vampirism as a dark elf you get around a 31% weakness to fire also the decrease of 75 to all your stats during the day is easily solved as if your well feed this stat reduction is decrease a lot and you actually get a resistance to fire if your playing a dark elf not to mention the stat reductions can be dealt with extremely easily regardless as stamina can be solved with vegetable soup and magicka can be solved with reduced cost enchantments
Without resetting your skills via legendary mode and getting to reinvest your perks, the best most versatile build i ever used was a breton who naturally had the magic resistance. Smithing, enchanting, and alchemy all maxed, so you can hit the armor cap with whatever you want and focus on style, those i had invested a lot of perks, not sure the amount. Steed stone gave me no armor drawback and the biggest passive in carry capacity, which is the equivalent of a strong enchantment as opposed to the other stones which are mid tier enchantment level. Sneak is broken so i only invested 1 point for detection, and invested the next 4 up the left side and at 100 sneak youre still near undetectable. invest in the right side to get the damage boost from sneak. One handed 5 perks points in order to boost base damage. With the armor and enchantments I could walk around and stop sneaking and just use a dagger instead of a sword. Could switch up to any playstyle with small exception of full mage

Before watching this, my guess for best perk was Extra Effect because you can double the enchantments on your wears and weapons, thus making you so much stronger.
A vampire that trains and uses restoration?
Stendarr: *screams*
spent all morning looking for a video about this perk. went to the movies, came back, and behold, as soon as i load youtube, the ideal masters have blessed me with there divine knowledge. cheers boys.
I also don't want to uninstall the unofficial patch because it fixes so much other stuff.
www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29474
Huh, didn't know about that mod.
Thank you!
It looks like there is a mod to undo the fix, but I haven't tried it.
www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3202
jep1st If you use ordinator pretty sure its version of necromage (pretty sure it's called the same thing) essentially restores vanilla functionality.
Huh
"necromage" ah.. I will definitely have to remember that... When I'm not using ordinator perk overhaul.
the best part is that your weakness to fire is irrelevant with 100% spell absorption since you'll just absorb the fire anyway. Only problem would be fire enchanted weapons though
Doesn't spell absorption also absorb the magic enchantment of a weapon strike as well? You take the normal damage, reduced by armor as normal but then the elemental damage is absorbed?
@@roblaquiere8220 apparently fire enchants are 20 or 25% weaker as a vamp which i didn't notice so thats what he means
It blows my mind this video gets so much reactions when necro mage vampire was found back in 2011
Before: This better not just be the Atronarch Stone and the Necromage Perk.
After: *sigh*
"It's the best for any class" boii my class is a worrior that enchants, Smith's and uses potions
Atronach ston... Oh wait, perk.
Moment I saw the video title I was like "is this the necromage perk?" And sure enough! Great video
necromage, also known as the only reason vampire builds are viable.
edit: I forgot the rings of blood magic, those are pretty cool too.
The Creation Club content Bone Wolf add an effect similar to the Necromage perk when in the party. Even battle; the two effects stack!
pretty useful
I love you guys. Still playing Skyrim and learning so much with you.
Which one’s faster. Zephyr or bound bow?
olo Zephyr...
Some lowlife attacks you wearing the gloves.
the best perk in my opinion is the one that makes your bow shoot 30% faster, and that with the staggering perk in archery is OP AS F**K
It should be noted if you are playing with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, the "Necro Mage also improves effects on playable vampires" effect is removed, because, for some reason, they thought it was not intentional by the developers.
These are the 3 most op perks i can think of.
3. Necromage
2. Impact
1. Shadow warrior
I would say:
3. Necromage
Or do I have to get the necromage perk while human and then become a vampire??
wves do you have to be human when you get the Necromage perk?
I believe you have to be a vampire and then get necromage and then any perks you want it to boost
PSA THERE IS A WEAPON CALLED THE GHOSTBLADE, IT IS A GHOST SWORD THAT WEIGHTS 2 YOU CAN USE THAT INSTEAD OF A DAGGER.
Isn't zephyr the fastest bow in the game
Yeah, but he is talking about dps, damage per second...
@@toastbrot63 with smithing, bound bow cannot touch the Zephyr.
If your worried about the added fire weakness just use a dark elf as it negates that weakness
I’m pretty sure you can’t take most fire damage with 100% spell absorption
Fudgemuppet can you help me get back into skyrim.... I wana use mods but I want friendly mods and I just get really bored of doing the same story. Also I'm a pc player.
starkgalaxy131 do the alternate start new creatures of skyrim
starkgalaxy131, alternate start, Beyond Skyrim Bruma, Beyond Skyrim Three Kingdoms is coming out soon too
This depends on how many mods you want. Do you want it modded to hell or only some to change it up? Either way the definite basic mods you should get are: Alternate Start, Ordinator, Immersive Armours, Bruma Beyond Skyrim
My game is heavily modded so I have others too that help with immersion.
Faalskar is a good mod
17:11 Someone's excited for the necromage/vampire set up...
Actually... A female khajiit werewolf hybrid version of a barefisted character with maxed out barefist damage enchanted daedric gauntlets and right most one handed perks (dual wielding perks) would be the strongest character without mods/cheats. :)
My character was Ri'va Adhari, a *Cannibal* khajiit tribe leader out for revenge against the men and mer for slaughtering her tribes people and specifically, her daughter... She'll only trade with khajiit, has no care for helping unless it profits her in some way and has no qualms with any daedra.
I also had her become a mix blood hybrid (werewolf/vampire lord) because more power is always better. ×3
How can you become a werewolf/vampire hybrid without console commands?
Basically you have to do the ritual to become a werewolf and have Serena turn you simultaneously.
And if you have the Mod Undeath it seams to also flag you as undead when you become the Undead Lich not the Lich itself but the character as a whole.
WEll... +100 carryweight is way better... since it affects truely EVERYTHING.
If I dont use spells, necromage is absolutly useless.
"Avoid death" also very crucial for everyone who seeks a fight.
"Magic resistance" is also great (30% magic resistance)
"Shadow warrior" is probably the most broken perk against any non dragon (become invisible for a splitsecond when crouching in combat)
Every other perk is specific to a certain playstyle and has requirements (use magic, use X armor/weapon)
those 4 perks are useful for everyone at least to some degree. (from top to bottom overall effectiveness)
5:55 That’s some nice swing speed.
Unofficial patch though....
The5armdamput33 There's a mod to fix it though....
watching this 5 minutes away from starting your Templar build so i'm hyped for this :D
The best perk is called "Mod" !!
With it, the dual flurry is fast, and with the Blood Thirst, a Creation Club content sword, on your left hand, the sword or dagger on your right hand will be extremely fast
hi
Hello.
Kawsar Hussain good day
Alright then.
Hello to you to.
Fuck you.
i LOVE discovering these build vids 5-10 years after the fact and after I've discovered I can't use the higher level spells to build levels in magic skill without dedicating the build to them alone :P
Restoration really is slept on. It has some of the best passive abilities in the game.
Maxing out the enchantment skill tree and making it possible to cast spells for 1-2 schools for free, namely destruction is pretty good
Dps build: dual flurry, necromage, elemental damage perks, maxed out enchanting and smithing, stahlrim dagger in left hand and mace in right, follow fudgemuppet most powerful weapon vid, vampire. I would say elemental fury shout, but that won't effect enchanted items. Also enchanted armor, jewelry and such to increase one handed damage.
Extended Jack of all trades necromage build is my favorite [perks that are modded to be more than reasonable and cause you to go further with levels]
I love this perk al be useing it all the time. Thanks fudgemuppet
Necromage + the whole Speech tree. Better persuade, intimidate, barter, allure... OP!
For the unarmed build, you should also enchant the gauntlets and a ring with the gloves of the pugilist's enchantment (if possible)
The Black books and ahzidal's armor from Dragonborn DLC boosts alchemy and enchanting to take your abilities even further.
A vampire wood elf witch is a build I'm starting now thanks to this
It will make a good Warrior a great one, it will make a great Warrior, UNSTOPPABLE!!!
Like the legolas reference
I've played the ghost blade build you guys are the best UA-camrs
doing the calculations at stage 4 vampirism as a dark elf you get around a 31% weakness to fire also the decrease of 75 to all your stats during the day is easily solved as if your well feed this stat reduction is decrease a lot and you actually get a resistance to fire if your playing a dark elf not to mention the stat reductions can be dealt with extremely easily regardless as stamina can be solved with vegetable soup and magicka can be solved with reduced cost enchantments
Pleasantly surprised he didn't say Atronach Perk. Considering this channels love for the Atronach Stone.
so, yes this is everithing you need to know on how to make an op character literally... thank you fudge..
My most recent build is a vampire already! Definitely trying this.
Best way to train restoration is at places like the ritual stone. Just fear the undead there and rest while they run away
Thanks for the entertaining content FudgeMuppet!
