    “When the Levee Breaks”
    was written and first recorded by Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie in 1929.
    This is Led Zepplin’s the cover of the song. There are a few other old blues songs they’ve covered. You outta check out the original. Zepplin did a good job paying tribute to Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie’s original.

    When talking about Led Zeppelin, Bre said "eargasim'. She, um, 'nailed' it.
    No other words needed!

    Thank you for your reaction to LZ. Truly a one of kind group of artists. If you can, please react to the live Earls Court version of "In My Time of Dying" - the artistry is breath taking for this old delta blues piece. It will make your ears happy.

    This is one of my favorites. Thank you!! Try You Shook Me and I Can't Quit You, Babe. I think you'll like them too. Here's a link to You Shook Me - It's the studio recording put over a filmed live performance from March 1969 right after their first album was released. ua-cam.com/video/_VAjvGhpZGY/v-deo.html We're Gonna Groove/I Can't Quit You Babe link from 1-1970 If you don't want to listen to both songs I Can't Quit You starts at about 3:15 ua-cam.com/video/o3XpvxdlhAA/v-deo.html

    That's Robert Plant on the harmonica you hear throughout, but it's been slowed down and reversed.

    • @eatthisvr6
      @eatthisvr6 3 роки тому

      reversed or reverse echo?

    • @TheGreatsagegoku
      @TheGreatsagegoku 3 роки тому +1

      @@eatthisvr6 I believe it's just slowed down and reversed, idk about an echo. But it did always sound to me like it was echoing through the mountains, it seems to ring in that uncanny way doesn't it. I think this goes to show how well their musicianship lent itself toward the imagery of the lyrics and established a vivid soundscape.

    The Crunge, A Fool in the Rain, Stairway to Heaven, Four Sticks, Hots for Nowhere (studio versions). Please stay away from that red album with the zeppelin flying on it. Is it just me, or doesn't it sound like something's missing? Help me out fellow fans, do you agree? Anyways, Happy Listening!
