WTH did the electric motor not work to pop the hood?
My frunk mechanism stuck where it popped half-way, leaving the hood popped but not able to be opened, or closed again. Eventually, the hood operates normally. Dealer was supposed to verify that this was messed up and order parts, letting me keep car in the meawhile, but decided it was better to cut open the hood, rendering my car undrivable until they get in replacement parts.
Wow! Just wow! :(
@@Toycollector33 yeah I'm not too happy that Ford couldn't get the quality on popping a hood at an acceptable level --- and that the dealer decided the best idea would be to cut open my hood and leave me without my car (again) for 5 days. The Mach-E has its charms, but product quality and reliability is not one of them.
I spent two months waiting for a main battery harness. Rumor has it that it will come in tomorrow. Good luck with yours.
