@@Margieamomoftwo Always shampoo twice a clean scalp will grow hair fast and healthy. You did a great job at washing but I notice you don't put enough leave-in conditioner AND hair cream in the hair BEFORE you start to detangle. Their isn't enough slip and its the main reason your child feels hurt and doesn't want to do her hair she is tender headed like me. That's why she wouldn't let you style her hair after washing it. She was already fed up with her having to wash her hair then you didn't add enough conditioner both times to detangle, so she was big mad. Try splitting the hair in 5 sections, one in the middle and two on each sides, then add the rinse out conditioner from roots to tips. Use a hand held hair steamer for a deeper condition while you comb-detangle the hair. Make sure the conditioner sits in the hair for at least 15 minutes before rinsing it out for softer hair. Oil her scalp and the ends of her hair with pure 100% Jamaican Black Castor oil, don't use grease that clogs the pores which diminishes hair growth.
