Why just why didn't we do this a long time ago? Why did we allow commercialism get in our head. So many black girls and women had the power to have hair like this but we allowed a "look" we thought we needed when we had the beautiful luxurious hair already just waiting to be cared for properly with natural ingredients. This could have save a lot of black women humiliation and shame from years Long ago relaxers and curls the things that now have rendered many without the ability to have children. Knowledge is truly power!!! Your baby's hair is gorgeous

I honestly think it was also lack of knowledge. Our moms who were average working people that didn’t know about hair care (such as my mom) had someone else do it or they just didn’t know what they were doing so perming it was easy and made it manageable. I remember just getting it washed and pressed until the relaxer came into my life. I love my natural hair now though I just can’t seem to get it to grow past my shoulders.

You guys are so very lucky to have the most versatile hair in the world, there is nothing it can't do.
Even the way you can twist it like that and it stays twisted without securing it with a band is amazing, my hair is so silky it slips out of any hairstyle it is put in. Curls don't last more than a few hours, braids become loose, a bun slips out even when it's pinned, etc.

The truth is that as far as African hair is concerned if you don't alot it your time to manage and maintain you will never get a desirable result. And our most problem is that we don't have that patience, we often start but consistency becomes an issue, we then quit and probably conclude it does not work.
Patience and consistency is the key.🤷

Olive oil definitely works. My son was completely bald in the back from cradle cap. I simply massaged his hair with olive oil. 🫒 and next thing you know his hair was down his back.
Before using the olive oil I saw no results. Genetics may contribute just like olive olive contributes.

This child has beautiful, thick, natural, healthy, strong hair!! This is what good hair looks like, hair most black women had when I was growing up in the sixties. My mother used olive oil on my/my sister's hair, we were provided with home cooked, balanced meals with a slew of veggies at each meal that we hated, but was commanded to eat! We never ate out unless it was a birthday, only at Howard Johnsons restaurant, we could never eat fast or processed foods! We took vitamins, Father Johns, and Cod Liver oil supplements, that we gagged on everday!!!!!! A healthy head full of unrelaxed hair was the norm back then that, hair that could hold a curl for days, hair we nurtured, took care of, back in a time when we all had a full hairline, unless you were deathly ill!!! Good for you mom, for using natural hair care treatments, for not relaxing your child's beautiful head of hair, with dangerous, cancerous chemicals, that will ultimately alter, damages the hair!!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing some of your proper hair care techniques that work for your children .
Some people can be so negative, almost like they are possessed to put you down.
I say these people are extremely lazy , and do not want to put the work and effort into themselves.
I know for a fact that olive oil works for a multitude of health conditions both external and internal.
Please 🙏🏿 continue teach and showing us without being discouraged, for you are more loved than disliked out here.
We are learning so much from our people,
Also I'm noticing that the black hair care lines that are not made by our people are losing MONEY, and they are doing everything they can to bring back that bottom line.
Our people have always had beautiful hair, hair styles, and textures, & lengths.
It truly makes me uncomfortable with the ignorant rants about our people not being able to grow our hair without the horrible uses of heat and cancer causing CHEMICALS.!!
We used natural oils , roots, berries, flowers, bark etc for thousands of years, and it's high time we throw away the colonizer MENTALITY and come back to our ANCESTORS WAYS!!
WE ARE OF THE ANUNAKI GODS,
LET THE ORISHA KEEP US !! 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
    WITH ALL LOVE AND SUPPORT!!
STAY SAFE, STAY WITH THE HOLY GRACE, STAY TOGETHER!! 🙏🏿🙏🏿

Let me just say this child is amazingly patient and tolerant.❤❤❤The process of standing and sitting for long periods is unreal. The process itself is wow 😮a lot of work..How often do you do this process on the child’s head? This child hair is so thick like my daughter’s hair used to be and I didn’t do all this…All little black girls would not be this tolerant and patient, in fact I don’t know any so patient and well behaved.❤❤❤Little lady I am in awe of your behavior beautiful ❤❤❤ I did less to my daughters hair she hated it she was so tender headed, but I did a process to her hair once a week and her hair was beautiful.😊😊😊😊😊She grew up and cut her head bald and wears wigs.😮😮OMG! All the things I did to keep her hair long and beautiful 😢😢to no avail. She also grew up to tell me she hated to get her hair done, but she did like when I put in synthetic hair braids in her hair. I am older and I don’t do much with my hair either, but I am lucky to have a nice grade of hair that curls up. I also keep my hair cut with a lot on top. My mom used to send me and my sister to hair dresser getting presses perms etc.. ruined the grade of my hair but as I got to be a teenager I started doing my own hair I had a nice fluffy Afro while in high school kept it nice and round. Graduated high school went to military cut all my hair off. OMG! Grew it all back. So now I don’t do much but keep a nice cut and curly top sometimes just fluff.😮😮😮But love ❤the care you take to your daughter hair, but it’s a long process ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

The results are simply amazing. The hair is so hydrated! No split ends whatsoever which is amazing for long hair like mine and starting to become gray! 😊
Also any dermatites that ppl may have totally disappears.
Coconut oil makes hair fall. I experience that 😢
At the end of the process I just wash my hair with a 90% natural components conditioner.

I have been reading the comments and there are some really great comments and a few stupid comments. One of the comments that I am constantly seeing is the one about trimming your daughters' split ends. Apparently not trimming the split ends has not stopped your daughter's hair from constantly growing. People so worried about trimming her split ends like they do, and they don't even have the hair growth nor length of your daughter's hair. Your daughter is still a child wearing her hair in braids. There is no need to trim her hair at this time. But they want to tell you to trim your daughter's hair🤦‍♀

If there are split ends it makes sense to trim the splits off so it doesn’t travel up the shaft otherwise trimming hair doesn’t make it grow. Hair doesn’t grow from the ends😅😅😅😅😅saw a video where a young lady thought it did😂😂

    • @MIMI88998899
      @MIMI88998899 Рік тому +2

@@t_aintbut1me416 Apparently you did not see the length of her hair in the video. Her hair is growing very long in spite of the fact that her ends have not been cut. I agree that for some people whose hair is not as healthy as her hair should trim or cut their ends. However, in her case she doesn't have to do that. Her mother stated in the comment section that she has not cut or trimmed her split ends, and she is not going to do it. Her hair is very healthy, and the split ends have not had a negative impact on her hair growth.
