- With his mother, Queen Rhaenerya still grieving the loss of Lecaerys, Jacaerys Velaryon's time to prove his worth as heir to the iron throne had come. Along with his Grand Father the sea snake it was him who had to fight the war against his Green cousins in King's landing. With losses mounting for the Blacks whatever Jace did had to be fast and effective and most of all bold.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on Geroge R R Martins A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

It would have been very interesting to see Rhaenyra’s five sons as the rulers and princes of the Seven Kingdoms, I wonder what kind of escapades they would have gotten into.
Can’t help but think we’d end up with a station similar to Jaehaerys and Alyssane where some would make fantastic rulers and some would be wild and uncountable. I’d also suspect in a circumstances where the dance never happens she’d had a few more kids with Daemon as I still think Laenor is assassinated. Also under in a situation with now dance, I suspect any daughters would Mary her half brothers, Helena would probably marry Jace or Lucearys, and there would be lots of intermarriage between grandchildren. Ultimately to consolidate and legitimise there rule. But I suspect a good mix of positive rulers and wild and uncontrollable younger kids.
@@WorldOfWesteros Well it would be logical to assume that without any War to hinder their marriages, Jace and Luke would probably go ahead with their betrothals to Rhaena and Baela. Joffrey, Aegon, Viserys and any other children Daemon and Rhaenyra would have would probably intermarry with cousins and each other.
Of course without any Dance all of the Dragons would still be alive such as Vhagar, Caraxes, Vermithor and all the other Dragons that died during the civil war. So many possibilities all diverging from this one event in the Targaryen History. It's always fun to hypothesize what may or may not have happened :)

Baela was the key to keep dragons alive. If her and Jace or her and Aegon the younger married the age of dragons would not have ended. She was the last dragon blood until danny.

His mother may not have been worthy of the throne, but Jace would have made an excellent king. He was the one who laid the groundwork for Rhaenyra's victory at King's Landing. The war would have gone very differently if he had live to counsel her.

@@WorldOfWesteros Absolutely his diplomatic mission to the Vale and the North was a huge win for the Blacks espcially in the finals days of the war. He was able to bring Lord Corlys back on board, him bringing in the dragon seeds was also a strong move for the most part. Overall he was very smart and wise in his administration of the war. His youngest brother Viserys resembles him a lot(especially when he was Hand of the King for decades for his brother and two nephews).
Literally I would watch a whole movie or show about him and cregan and jacerys time at winterfell

I wonder if Jace did marry Sara and they had a child. Cregan might have realized such a child had a claim and could trigger another civil war, so hiding it in Winterfell. Which could then lead to the Starks actually having Targaryen blood, of Aegon's line, so when Arya takes down the Night King in Game of Thrones it is still Aegon's line, just not through the main line.

Jacaerys should have married Baela and tried to produce another member for the blacks.
It's likely he delayed the marriage because of concern for her safety. If the blacks lost and they were married with children, there's no way she would have been spared.
Don't Rhaena's eggs vanish or something like that in the books? I know there's a theory that the three eggs Rhaena had with her were actually Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.
Yea the eggs that Daenyeres gets are thought to be the ones stolen during King Jahearyes' reign when Alicent Westwood stole it from Rhaena and sailed to sell it in Easos
Apparently in the book, Dani’s egg came from Desmond’s dragon and had already been stolen and overseas before all of this happened

it is possible he could have taken the name and arms of his mother or wife. It happened to the Lannesters with a Lydden iirc. I think this is likely what would have happened at the Targaryens are the royal house and would command more respect.
@@WorldOfWesteros The Show is saying when a Velaryon ascends the throne, they will assume the name Targayern. Which is a fair compromise.

Yes they have and so far he is great along with rhaynera’s other children better then alicents. Way better behaved and smart I cannot wait b it is sad that they actually got along with alicents children until alicent and cristian cole made them turn on each other.

Technically, the child is only a bastard when born out of wedlock. Rhaenyras children were born when she was married. And even if they are not Laenor's, he called them his knowingly. It was common for fathers to ask to legitimate their bastards (like Roose Bolton with Ramsey) so technically, Laenor accepting the kids makes them in fact Velaryons

I'm not saying aemond deserved losing an eye , but the bullying was from his side he started the fight by beating up Joffery then savagely beating up jace then Luke defended his brother , i think the show changed this part to make aemond more sympathetic
