That’s lovely!! Where’s my Sire triple neck, semi hollow, fan fret, perspex, reverse headstock, banjo? Always wanted one of those 😉😂. Congrats Pete… I will see what we can do in terms of ordering some. Cheers (this is Lee BTW)
I would definitely buy a sire triple neck, semi hollow, fan fret, perspex, reverse headstock, banjo!.....but I want mine to also be a baritone-tenor-12 string.😁
It is so nice that I bought one of these and I named it Danish Pete! In short 'Can you give me the Dane?' And the guys knows which one I'm talking about.... Without you Pete, Andertons would be kind of boring, you and Lee is... I don't know what to say... You are great!
I bought one of the original H7's. It looks, feels, sounds & plays great. The clever thing is that although for this price it's madness not to buy one, people don't like guitars with an "affordable" name on the headstock. This doesn't have that.....It says "Larry Carlton" on the headstock. Genius!
This definitely should be a thing. I was seriously considering the Epiphone USA Casino, but if Sire makes this model available, I'll forget the Casino and buy this immediately. P-90's are very special pickups, and to release this guitar would be a welcome addition to other alternatives on the market.
What a wild coincidence... about 3 weeks ago I was at my local GC and checked out the Larry Carlton H7 and was planning to purchase one before the years end. But while I was biding my time and looking at them on line, I stumbled across a used Peerless Revovler. For those who don't know, Peerless is a Korean Guitar company that used to build for Epiphone, Gretsch, Fender, etc for years and then started making their own brand and they are also well known for making jazz guitars. But the coincidence is that the Revolver is a 335 styled semi hollow with...P-90s instead of traditional humbuckers! I thought that this is such a cool idea that I snapped it up and let me say, that it is so sweet to play and listen to. It has all of the P-90 growl and smoothness and it is an overall fantastic combo. So when Pete said that he requested a LC 335 style w/ P-90s I knew I had made a right choice. I still will get the Sire LC H7 in the spring because that is also such a great guitar that the thought of not having one will drive me nuts. Congrats Pete, you have a beautiful axe there.
Wow! I can't stop listening! Many times over! Tremendous tones! Was disappointed that they dont offer it with these pickups... And as always, Peter, tasty picking! Many thanks!
I like P90s and Sire Larry Carlton guitars.I’ve bought three in the last couple of months and each one blows me away by it’s outstanding build finish and sound quality. This video is the first time I’ve ever seen a Larry Carlton gig bag which I think they all should come in.
I recently bought a Sire H7 from Andertons. Fabulous guitar for the price and exceptional customer service from their team. I wish the Sire Gig bag was available when I bought it a couple of months ago. Maybe Andertons can source them direct from Sire as I will certainly buy one. Great video and playing as always Pete.
Must admit I was attracted by the chillies in the background. I would keep this as your video room, looking at you and a garden is better than looking at you and a wall :). Guitar looks and sounds great, got my first P90 guitar this year, a JJN Epiphone which sounds great with a beast of a neck. Any chance of a review of the Kemper active speaker you unboxed a while back? Cheers Pete
Hey Pete! Bud Bremner here from Vancouver. Thank you for your request to build the H7V, I've just ordered one in Cherry! I can't wait to have it in my hands and I love your videos with Lee!
I keep rewatching this because 1) I’m obsessed with Sire and this guitar offering and the tone 2) I’m obsessed with Pete’s playing style 3) I’m obsessed with everything going on here
So we have you to thank for the P-90’s, how cool is that. I’m overseas in Kuwait so having another guitar shipped out isn’t something I can do right now but I’m looking forward to buying a leftie version of the H7V but so many colors that I like. Sunburst of course but their black one and red one look great as well. Need to head to Sweetwater and see if the fretboard is rosewood on the new ones. Thank you for all of the cool videos you all turn out. Really enjoyed your Huey Lewis party. Good jams.
Should defo be a thing, Sire deserve more credit than they get for producing such a quality product at this price point, I would love one of their guitars!
Definitely hoping Sire will release this version. It’s ironic that just a couple days ago I was considering getting the new S-7 . As Peter says they just seem like great value for the money.
That is outstanding, and thanks for playing it pretty so we can hear what the guitar sounds like. I just went to the Sire site and said Please Do This !
You are the man keep up the jam videos with the purple Tele, its your love I can tell. I remember the day you showed them off in an Andertons video. I said to myself he seems to love that purple tele...and you did
i in fact have the same kinda off guitar , it's an stanford thinline 30 ( from there crossroads series ) , they make great guitars for a fair price . Stanford is the "overseas " brand ( made in china ) from Maybach wich is owned by the I music company , they are made in the same factory as where the B & G "overseas " guitars are made , wich also called the crossroads series . They are on par with the Eastman guitars but are less expensive . The stanford thinline 30 is an ES 330 type off guitar ( so full hollow ) but with an full length neck , they also make the ES 335 and an les paul type off guitar . The pick ups in the thinline 30 are not from SD though but they have the same lovely vintage sound as the SD pu's have . I got lucky in the sence that i was able do buy one for 700 euro's ( 2e hand ) and i know this one is an keeper for sure , i also put an bigsby on it as beeing the cherry on the cake : )
Wow! When you first hit that 2 pickup position, if I wasn't looking, I would have thought it was a telecaster middle position. TWANGY! Great playing as always. I agree with the masses...you should do your videos from that spot. BTW that Boss BD-2W also sounded great.
You lucky dog!!!! I hope that all the Larry Carlton models will expand to choices such as what you have here! I'm tracking down the "T" model now (Telecaster). My only complaint is that all Sire guitars are hard to find, but maybe that's a good thing, I don't want them to cut corners on making them, my H7 is perfect!
Absolutely stellar man!!! I’d love to add one of those to my collection! i could listen to you play all day long. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful day man.
I got my Larry Carlton S7 from Andertons in flame blue, amazing guitar for the money, i saw you playing it in the video, and thought, Yup, im having one of those. Beautiful guitar,
Hi Pete! You guys should pick a lucky fan and have them do an unboxing as if they were Danish Pete or Capt Lee and have it recorded for playback on Andertons channel. I imagine some will be serious but some will be magic and hilarious! I know I would have so much fun being Pete for a few minutes!!!
What a fab guitar and yes that P90 config on that guitar is the thing. I must also confess that the chord progressions and the embrodery you do around them is so inspiring that I find myself taking them with me for my own guitar playing pleasure. You've even inspired me to write a new song from one of your earlier jams. Not a pure copy of course but the mood and some of the chord progressions might have found its way there. 😉 Keep 'em coming! Cheers, Thor (Yes, you guessed it... Norway)
Play and learn from everyone’s chords! You can’t steal chords and voicings. Only melodic content is copyrighted. That’s where new music comes from my friend!
I was wandering around Andertons this afternoon, live in Woking, bought the P90 version of this Guitar, tried the Humbucker version too, the neck pup of the P90 swung it, nearly bought an SG standard and honourable mention to the Epiphone Tony Iommi, but the boys wouldn't price match. One year later, are you giggling it?
Pete, great video and review. A few questions? should a bedroom player get a Sire or a real 335? Or is spending more on the Gibby not worth it? Or get a Tele?
Yes! It should be a thing. I am a keyboard player and I want one too......beautiful body "and" sound... Informativ video Pete! Hilsen fra Memphis, Tennessee.
Sweet sounding! I see that spider plant on your right Pete! Takes me back, my Mom has always had those, even in macrame hangers in the 70s and early 80s😄.
Hi Pete ! Yes! It Is more than something..! Lovely Great sound with the P90 antiquity. I would have One ! Please Talk about with Sire to give us the chance to choose that as an alternative to the standard model! Thank you 🙏
Pete I saw you playing this on instagram today and thought it was gorgeous on there. Love the vintage burst and the P90s on this. I would buy one of these.
That's a good looking and sounding guitar Pete. You are wonderful at bringing out the best in them. While I'm here I'll just add my thanks and appreciation for the work you have done on all those demo's in recent years. Been very interesting and inspiring to follow you with Lee, Rabea and Ariel for an old and arthritic newbie guitarist as to what's possible. A bit worried I might have to find or start a branch of G.A.S. Anonymous but that's a common issue everywhere isn't it ? :))
Based on your initial review of these Larry Carltons, I bought a red H7 when I decided to learn to play guitar instead of buying a Harley. That makes for a safer mid-life crisis solution. ;-) I've been loving it ever since, and I'm making much better progress than I expected. Wish I had your fingers and talent though. Hat off to you sir! I would love to see Sire sell that bag separately though. Mine didn't come with a bag (I just took it off the wall in the local guitar shop). That Larry Carlton one looks so much better than the only fitting one that the shop had laying around.
Sold my Harley, I just buy guitars these days. Both equally bad for my hearing! The skill comes from the hours you put in. Sadly, there’s no shortcuts. Give me an afternoon in the practice room over a blat across the Pennines any day. All the best, man.
Finally overcame my laziness Pete, after hearing about your channel on an Anderson’s vid, and overcame the Herculean task of typing your name into UA-cam search to bring me to your channel. been thinking about Sire a lot lately and planning to indulge soon. Hope you and family are well.
Yes that is a must you are an amazing person so articulate in your playing i could only dream they really should produce that guitar with your name on it
Hi great video thanks very much!! Exactly what we need to get an idea if it’s tone and playability. !!! Now that they’ve made a production model of this could you please tell me if they have the same lovely tone of as this fine guitar? 😃👍🙏🙏
What a wonderful sounding guitar! I have the Larry Carlton H7 and can say I think it is the best value for the money. Before I bought it I played for a couple hours head to head with all the Epi's and competing brands. The biggest difference while playing in-store was the smoothness of the neck and frets. The SIRE just plays and looks like a more expensive guitar:)!!!
Pete, can you please do an in depth Telecaster tips and tricks video. I'd love to hear your philisophy about the instrument, why you like it so much, how you use the controls when playing, and how you take care of it. De bedste hilsner fra Danmark 🤙
That's beautiful! I'm a Casino guy so P90s are my favorite pickups ever....I might pick up the Sire with humbuckers...if I get another P90 guitar it'll probably be a one pickup Les Paul special just for P90 rock without feedback tones.
The Larry Carlton model was designed according to the specs related to his iconic 335 and probably any alterations would not happen. However a 335 dot neck model containing p90's not associated with the artist's name might be a possibility. I would imagine it would all come down to the contract that is between Larry and the Sire company. Either way it's a great idea and hopefully a model as such may develop for production.
Hi Pete, can I ask you if the boss rc500 I have can be used as a drum machine without engaging the loop function also is the length of the fadeout adjustable?
The only thing I found odd about my Sire H7 was super narrow nut width. absolutely loved everything about it.While the new H7V has everything I wanted with P90 pickups and a 43mm nut width. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these someday!
That’s lovely!! Where’s my Sire triple neck, semi hollow, fan fret, perspex, reverse headstock, banjo? Always wanted one of those 😉😂. Congrats Pete… I will see what we can do in terms of ordering some. Cheers (this is Lee BTW)
Can’t wait for the review on that one!
I would definitely buy a sire triple neck, semi hollow, fan fret, perspex, reverse headstock, banjo!.....but I want mine to also be a baritone-tenor-12 string.😁
@@whitepepper8365 with a floating wrap around bridge?
Yes Lee please order some!! Would be epic- I’d order straight away! Maybe with a trapeze tailpiece too?
Captain Lee a p90 version would definitely get some love from me and a I am sure many customers looking for that semi p90 tone. Get them ordered lol
It is so nice that I bought one of these and I named it Danish Pete!
In short 'Can you give me the Dane?'
And the guys knows which one I'm talking about....
Without you Pete, Andertons would be kind of boring, you and Lee is...
I don't know what to say... You are great!
IT SHOULD DEFINITELY BE A THING !!!!!!! Beautiful guitar, fabulous tone !!!!!
P90s should Always be a thing :-)
Been told they are to release in November 2022
IT`S A THING!!!
I bought one of the original H7's. It looks, feels, sounds & plays great. The clever thing is that although for this price it's madness not to buy one, people don't like guitars with an "affordable" name on the headstock. This doesn't have that.....It says "Larry Carlton" on the headstock. Genius!

P-90's are very special pickups, and to release this guitar would be a welcome addition to other alternatives on the market.
I'm going to buy one and just get the P90s and have someone swap it out.
Casino's are fully hollow and I'm pretty sure they have rosewood fretboards so the tone is gonna be different than a casino
I only play undriven tones anymore, So I thank you for giving a nice taste of it's clean tones!
What a wild coincidence...
about 3 weeks ago I was at my local GC and checked out the Larry Carlton H7 and was planning to purchase one before the years end. Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups are a blast. They look like a relic and they sound truly authentic. The best choice for this one-off.
Peter, Are you still loving it and playing it! Many thanks!
I love the sound of this guitar and your playing too.
Gerard from The Netherlands.
Must admit I was attracted by the chillies in the background. I would keep this as your video room, looking at you and a garden is better than looking at you and a wall :).

1 year later and im buying this guitar. Thx Pete!
Hey Pete! Bud Bremner here from Vancouver. Thank you for your request to build the H7V, I've just ordered one in Cherry!

It is lovely looking and the great sound with the simple setup pushes it over the top. Congratulations.

What’s happened at Anderton’s?!
I'm wondering the same thing.
What a fantastic and rich sound! I love the thick bass presence. Beautiful guitar and superb playing. Congrats, Pete!
Should defo be a thing, Sire deserve more credit than they get for producing such a quality product at this price point, I would love one of their guitars!
That's killer man. I've been trying to decide on which p90's today. You popped up and I believe I'm sold.
Definitely hoping Sire will release this version. It’s ironic that just a couple days ago I was considering getting the new S-7 .
As Peter says they just seem like great value for the money.
Yes! Sire, this should most definitely be “a thing”!! H7, P90’s, left-handed versions in transparent red, (always sold out of lefties).
That looks and sounds stellar! Although, I’m pretty sure Pete could make a broomstick and piano wire sound amazing.

Great guitar, just watched you and the Captain comparing guitars went to Guitar Center here in California and tried it out. What a find!
Ah the P90 bug has definitely gotten Pete. Great unboxing and demo thank you! 🎸
It looks great and it sounds great! Sire really nail it whatever guitar or bass guitar they produce!
Wow! When you first hit that 2 pickup position, if I wasn't looking, I would have thought it was a telecaster middle position. TWANGY! Great playing as always. I agree with the masses...you should do your videos from that spot. BTW that Boss BD-2W also sounded great.
Nice video Pete, looking forward to more of them. Love your playing and technique.

I didn't realize you had your own channel! Duh . Pete the most badass guitar picker on UA-cam . This makes me so happy 😊
Yes it should be a thing! I’m about to order me one from Sweetwater and see if I can pay for p90 upgrade, let see how it goes…Blessings
Oh man!! .. sweet tones .. Congrats Pete 🙂✌️
You are such a gift to the world, inspiring to hear you play as always man X
I would buy one with p90's without blinking an eye. Looks and sounds great 👍
Sire would make a great move to put this model on the map. Great playing like always.
After seeing Pete and Anderton's reviews, Sire's on the top of my list. Just waiting for availability in the US.
Guitar Center carries them.
I got my Larry Carlton S7 from Andertons in flame blue, amazing guitar for the money, i saw you playing it in the video, and thought, Yup, im having one of those. Beautiful guitar,
Love hearing you play brother.
Thanks for the video and congrats
on the new gee-tahr.

What a stunning guitar , surely they will produce more after your demo Pete, awesome playing as usual keep up the great work 👍

Pete, great video and review. A few questions? should a bedroom player get a Sire or a real 335? Or is spending more on the Gibby not worth it? Or get a Tele?
The Sire Pete 90! I would buy it in a heartbeat!!! Great vid.
Definitely should be a thing. Looks and sounds fantastic. Great playing as always, Pete. 🙌
I have an H7 in wine red, with HB's. I would describe it it as a luxurious guitar, and always felt it was actually underpriced. I love mine.
Great guitar, P-90 Pete! Aren't you the lucky one! And YES -- it should definitely be "a thing," this P-90 version. For sure! Happy New Year! 🤟🤟
Llove that sound! I would be tempted to order the guitar set up like that.
Love this Pete! I actually love the backyard view of the video, gives me relaxin vibes
Beautiful guitar, beautiful playing. I grew up on Classic Rock, but I've REALLY come to love clean tones.
That thing sounds amazing. God yes they need to make one of the p90s. I will buy one right now.
Yes, it should be a thing. Great video Pete.
Thanks for sharing Pete! Love those P90s.
I love the guitar, I hope it will be available soon because I will be a buyer sure. Very good video! congrats!!
Just bought one exactly like it. Came in yesterday, haven't even opened it up yet, will today....
Hi Pete ! Yes! It Is more than something..! Lovely Great sound with the P90 antiquity. I would have One ! Please Talk about with Sire to give us the chance to choose that as an alternative to the standard model! Thank you 🙏
I like the sound of the P-90's on this guitar. Its very clear tone.
Coming to this after seeing the recent video in Andertons channel. I want the black and gold one!!!!
Wow sounds great Pete can’t wait till they make it for everyone else happy new year from Long Island cheers
I've got that same basket on my landing.... Love the natural finish and you can get some great tones out of it.
That's not a "natural" finish.
GORGEOUS…nice playing Pete, God bless you and yours dude
Great, hope to see many more of these from you Pete 👍
Think a Natural Blonde finish would look good too
Pete I saw you playing this on instagram today and thought it was gorgeous on there. Love the vintage burst and the P90s on this. I would buy one of these.
I guess I would buy one. The color is amazing, the Duncan P90s are awesome. So is the combination of Semi Hollow with P90s!!
Just love to hear you play. ❤ Very very nice guitar.
Nice playing Pete - Sire is now on my radar
Hell yeah!!! It should be a thing!!! It is a thing!!! It's really gorgeous and sounds amazing.
That is some beautiful tone!
Finally overcame my laziness Pete, after hearing about your channel on an Anderson’s vid, and overcame the Herculean task of typing your name into UA-cam search to bring me to your channel. been thinking about Sire a lot lately and planning to indulge soon. Hope you and family are well.
Yes that is a must you are an amazing person so articulate in your playing i could only dream they really should produce that guitar with your name on it
Thank YOU Peter for this 1off. Merry Christmas & HNY 2022 FAN
Very nice finish & sounded really nice with the P90 pickups 🎶
Great pete these larry carlton sire look great and sound great and coming at a great price nice playing 👍
Lovely looking and sounding guitar. Yes please make this happen with thoose pickups p90 seymore duncan antiquity
Pete! Can you get Sire to make a 339 inspired guitar? I love the semi hollow body guitars, but would like a smaller one.
Awesome guitar. Congrats that they acctually made it. 😊
Great playing Pete. That's beautiful, and a reasonably priced alternative to a 330.
Can you buy the P-90s and just swap out the humbuckers? Or will there be routing issues? Hole too big or small etc.
naturally gifted ...joy to listen to
Wow if Sire makes them I’ll definitely be buying one
So have you moved house again?
Also, Sire are great.
So when are Sire going to release these? this model sounds amazing!
