Just a hint. You took the time and effort to create a very beautiful, economical and functional cabinet, but you need to install a door stop or find and antique cast iron one like a beetle or butterfly. I would hate to see a great big scratch or gouge ruin your lovely cabinet. My concern is mostly the door handle clearance. 😮 love this cabinet it’s my favourite.❤

What a great transformation! The only tweak that I would make is I would coat the unit with a polyurethane or another clear protective coat, and I would make sure that the paint has a primer in it. I flipped an IKEA piece once where I painted it, and clumsy movers scratched it so badly that the paint peeled off.
