  • Ford’s V8 Mustang holds strong, but the seventh-generation icon is no one trick pony. 👉 Full Review: www.carsales.c...
Description: Ford’s iconic pony car dips into the world of modern technology with dual screens and customisation as a high priority. But at its heart, whether in GT Fastback or Convertible body style, its muscle car roots are alive and well. Priced from $66,990 plus on road costs, Ford’s most affordable four-cylinder Mustang will be enough for most drivers… but while that V8 powertrain remains on offer, it’d be rude not to. Check out our first drive impressions.

Sounded like a 1992 frameless Subaru Brumby door when you slammed that door shut 💀😂

Should add a cheaper 2.0 L4 Ecoboost twin-scroll turbo and a 2.7 V6 Ecoboost twin-turbo from Fords Bronco Sport, Maverick and Bronco respectively. Still no entry notchbacks for any young motorists

I wonder how the new screens would cope with the sun with the convertible

    Looks really really good.
Only issue with me, is if I had the money to spend on something like this I would go buy a muscle car from the 80s/90s. I dont think I want touch screens and carplays.
Kinda wonder if in 30 years time we will look at these mustangs the same way.

    Not a 2025, they haven't started making those yet. It's a 2024

The new dash is horrible, they look cheap and to me, it just lazy and smacks of manufacturers taking shortcuts. By the sound of that drivers door closing, I’d say it’s still a junk car with a poor ANCAP rating, and really only suitable for cashed up bogans!

The FN was the last of the classic mirrored dash with bonus of digital gauges old school toggle switches and the better redesigned fuel injection set ups. The FN has now become the more desirable model as it retained the Mustangs legacy inside the cabin and this last years model FN is your last version with real mustang cabin dash reminiscent of the beginnings back in the 1960's this is going to be the desirable model over this 7th generation thats a refresh and older FN will go up in value over time over, the exception may be the new Dark Horse that nobody can buy anyway because the 1000,
"all have been already allocated" really ? I don't believe it sorry 1000 allocated and all sold no way . It sounds like a bit of a marketing stitch up with some manipulations going on to maximise prices. Expecting to see lots of those 1000 "allocated Dark Horses" on car sales in the coming months at double the asking prices just like we saw with Mach 1and Bullitt models that are really great value now ."Breaking news" there's 5 "unavailable dark horse" on car sales now asking
139 K saying private, but I bet they are dealers allocated cars this was a given that dealers would try and cash in and price gouge it .

Moving from 550 to 650 myself, nothing about the 550 was worth retaining. In fact the disappointing aspects of 650 come from the largely carried over aspect
