Nice to see a Genesis review guys - after coming from Euros, and being sick of the lack of reliability from all those brands (have had most of them i.e. BMWs, Mercs, Audis, Jags, Land Rovers etc), ... went to a GV80 which I absolutely love. This is the first car brand that I have owned I would happily buy again.

Hi boys. I have had a Genesis GV60 for 2 years and done 41k. Effortless car to drive and brilliant ride and luxury. Superb interior and comfort. Solid with no squeaks or rattles. No issues so far. Best car I have had and I have had BMW, Merc, Audi and Lexus.
Came from a Lexus NX. Still a fan of Lexus especially their service but Genesis is trying hard.
I heard Adam say you look at cars generally after 3 years and 50k. More than welcome to take the GV60 out next year !

Great review guys! You covered it all!
My G70 3.3T AWD Sport Prestige is amaaaaaaazing! Every day I drive this car I fall in love with it more!
. . . and you are absolutely right . . . especially about two things: 1) if you think you need more power, it’s just your ego talking. This thing flies! Every time I push that pedal, it takes my breath away. Seriously, every time! It is THAT fast and responsive. 2) it hides driving speed incredibly well. I still find myself looking down and saying “oh sh@t” because I’ve been cruising along at nearly 90mph and didn’t realize it. At this rate, there’s probably a ticket in my near future.
I confidently purchased my 2022 G70 preowned…The warranty is one of the best in the business and transferable (still have years of bumper-to-bumper left). The impressive interior build quality and beautiful touches that set this car so far above others just makes me smile every time I get in…and the tech is well designed, stable and thoroughly polished.
I could go on, but you get the picture. Easily the best car I have ever purchased, and would do it again without a second thought.

I have about 37,000 miles on it and the ONLY issue I've had is that a module burned out for the passenger-rear tailight blinker....which they gave me a loaner and it was fixed in 3 days. Otherwise it's been bulletproof. I purchased the G70 after ditching a very problematic 2021 Alfa Giulia I bought new and experienced electrical and brake and build quality issues for the 7 months I had it. RC350 F sport also is in that price range, the decision between genesis vs lexus is do you want near guaranteed bulletproof but slower, heavier car with a terrible slushbox that shifts slower than a trucker or a small-moderate risk of expensive mechanical failure but awesome performance and a better interior. Granted with the genesis its a MUST that you choose one that has the logbook COMPLETELY filled out to the date you inspect it.

@chinesejohncena9137 If you're talking about a used M340i then yes, but if you're talking about a brand new M340i, you're looking at 75k out the door as well as the IS500. The G70 is a bargain at 60k out of the door and it's almost as fast as the m340i and the is500. I mean if you got 75+k to burn then, the g70 is just too cheap for you.

2:19 most of those cars are ONLY in that price range simply because of the brand name, most of which dont even come with anything bigger than a 4 cylinder engine option, maybe with a small turbo. everyone of course has their preferences, but for me it is not ONLY about the styling or the "brand name" but the g70 has much more performance than for example the arteon, which ONLY comes with a 2.0 i4.

The g70 has very different driving dynamics compared to the stinger. The stinger feels sloppy unless you upgrade the swaybars and springs. Sport plus is the mode you want for holding gears. What's missing is the rear diff on the AWD, good idea to change the fluid to amsoil severe gear on the gv70 also.

I'd argue the Stinger is more bang for buck because of the increased practicality - bigger backseat which can more comfortably hold adults, and the hatchback lets you haul a ton of stuff. I was able to squeeze a 65" TV in the back in the retail cardboard box - it was a tight fit, but it I was able to fit it in!

I'd love to drive one of these against a Jaguar XE/XF and Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce back to back and see how they compare as the best-driving cars in the segment. They are using a single missed service from the previous owner to wriggle out of a warranty replacement engine. Considering that a recall is in place. There is also a site that's initiating class action against Kia for the same issue on many cars including this. Let's see how long they try to avoid fixing and mentally drain the customer so they can give up

I bought a used Stinger GT with a fully intact warranty, in Germany only to have the local kia dealer in my country deny the warranty transfer on the basis that one of the services was 4km late... They will use any technicality to get out of warranty work.
Service dept are inept as well, tried to tell me my vibration (that they couldn't feel) was due to a broken gearbox (is completely fine and i've done about 12k kms since). It ended up being a tricky tire balance that they didn't manage to balance - took it to a tire shop and it was sorted.
