Bought the Hercules paddle switch 10 months ago, the safety is convenient and intuitive and the balance with the 8 amp battery is almost perfect. Does fantastic with a 7 inch cut off wheel.
I’ll have to try it with a 7”! Haven’t done that yet but I sure have use this thing!!

I’ve been using my slide switch one in a professional automotive/fabrication setting for months now and burn through the 12ah batteries multiple times a day, I still grab the corded dewalt for grinding down welds because 12k rpm’s haha, but the Herc is absolutely my go-to for cutting.

Sometimes you need a corded tool.
I’ve been trying to get my own set of tools I borrow from everyone and they all have dewalt then I went in to HF and saw there Hercules tools so I got a drill and a circ saw and have been having great success with them I want to get some more but how are they on the long run for use?
I’ve got about a dozen Hercules cordless tools and the only one I don’t like is the nonbrushless cordless drill. And that’s actually due to the keyless chuck. I’m currently working on a video for the brand new brushless hammer drill. So far it’s been much better.
I use the tools fairly hard and they seem to be pretty rugged. They don’t feel like cheap tools and I haven’t broken any of them yet.
I bought the Herc grinder a month ago. But I bought it for what it is..........cordless. Because I occasionally have areas outside I dont want to drag cords to. If I needed to do heavy duty grinding I would opt for a corded grinder regardless of what brand it is. There's no battery unit that's going to put the smack down on like my corded Metabo.
I bought these cordless grinders thinking the same thing. Great for when I'm not near an outlet. The funny thing is that I find myself never reaching for the corded ones now. :)

I'm about 80% switched over to Hercules. With the qualitz these prices are unbelievable. I got an impact and angle grinder with 2 5ah batteries and two 2.5ah and a fast charger for $250. If Hercules made a cordless nailer, I'd replace the other 20% of my tools.
I have about a dozen Hercules cordless tools and I have yet to have a failure of a tool or battery. Better track record than I’ve had with DeWalt.

On the Hercules grinder? No, none of the different brands are interchangeable that I’ve seen.
@@bennieaust ive seen a few, i know dewalt batterys will fit bauer and melif tools, also craftsman and black and decker will interchange

They are. It's all about personal preference and what works best for the job you're doing.
The DeWalt nut is on upside down, the spring loaded part goes towards the blade
