you should take the motor out completely rebuild it , sent the frame for some powder coating, buy new wheels , take some nice some video of it , 3 layers of stickers, and sell it for 3k after you spend 8k on it :D like others on youtube do !
Oh yeah I've seen plenty, I make money on all, some more than others. I have a 2005 YZ250 on the back burner, thinking about building a YZ250x replica. Have to look into the differences. Hope all is well with you.
Bro I been flipping bikes u just gotta get hood deals buy a blown up kx85 get it for like 700-800 rebuild clean it sell it for 400-500 more than wat u paid or 300 more it’s all abt building profit bro and making sure it’s running right the more bike u flip the better deals u find I had a pit bike 140 a couple months ago bought it for 450 I wasn’t trynna sell it but a dude was offering to come pick it up for 1300
All good there, do it right, make it safe, and move it on. As long as the person buys it knowing what it needs, that's good to. All my bikes are race ready when they leave my shop.
its funny because you talk on a higher pitch on the camera, i always try to control that myself but its hard , i just wanna scream in a high voice to the camera
@@TepcoCycleRepair my dad yells at me when he talks to me on the phone in usa but he doesn't do it in Romania.. Like he has to because I can't hear him in usa because it's far
If my local Suzuki mechanics were as proficient and honest as you, I'd let them do a valve clearance check/ adjust on my VStrom. I can see it will be a real pain.I'm dreading it. I know these guys don't have time to be too careful. In '80 the Honda dealer I worked at told a guy with a CBX they adjusted his valves and charged him big time. They never even took his valve cover off.
I sold if for $2k I bought it for $800 it was around $700 for parts/fluids that leaves $500 for labor and I'm sure some other things I missed certainly not a big money maker. For me the fun is bringing it back to life and selling it to someone for a good deal who is super happy to get a good clean bike.
i love how he brings these mistreated bikes back to life

i wanted to give you another view and ask a question, IS IT OK TO FLIP DIRTBIKErs, or the same rule aplyes , haha
Thought your ment to grease wheel bearings before putting them in
They are sealed.
why is the chain so tight looks like a countershaft seal is ready to get worked
Looks that way in the video but it was tensioned properly.
@@TepcoCycleRepair im in the middle of a kx85 flip currently waiting on a few oem parts
How much did you buy it for and how much did you spend in parts?
