    This 2006 Suzuki RMZ450 was an $800 Craigslist find. The bike was listed as "not running" at $1000, and the seller accepted my $800 offer. I picked it up in Manhattan, Montana. After a valve adjustment, carb work, and a general tune up, I had the bike running solid and ready to sell. Leave a comment below on your thoughts on this style of video! I buy and sell a lot of bikes that aren't full builds, and thought I'd share the process!

Oh wait, I picked up 2 of them. Both OEM fenders were twisted very badly, and Yamaha stiffed the dealership because they were not in the original packaging, (to sell to who?). I have a manufacturing and quality engineering degree, and I never thought I would see aftermarket with better quality than a Jap bike OEM part. Outsourced to a 3rd world nation or not, Yamaha had their name on them.

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  2 роки тому

      Locked up can be very expensive. If it needs a head or valves that can add up quickly. If you want to fix it and ride it you should be able come out pretty well, but if you're trying to make money it's a gamble. In today's market a good running 2006 RMZ450 is worth about $3000 give or take depending where you live. Good luck!
