Yes and it just goes to show ..no matter how much time you get you will

but l forgot how much she missed her dear Phillip and wanted to be with him.
Well yes, when your mother gave birth to you while she was still very young, it is a true possibility.
The men with the bagpipes walking away…going into the distance as the man read his piece ……just beautiful…pure genius
It was like a movie, the camera slowly followed him until he left the frame 😢
They explained earlier why he walked away while playing. I can't remember. It's something that the Queen wanted
Agreed!! Absolutely beautiful service!!
I fully agree. But adding to that, the total procedure was impeccable and so respectable to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. I am not a royalist but nor am I a reblucican. May she rest in peace.. Kate. Melbourne, Australia
The one man would play bagpipes under her window when she was in residence everyday for 15 mins every year she requested the man to play them for her on her funeral

There's a Budhist way of praying called Metta it means love and kindness. In that prayer we pray for the lost loved ones as wherever they are now, in whatever forms, in whatever state, may they be happy, may they be peaceful, may they have part in my merits which I earned by good deeds. I give my metta to you and your family.

Having The Queen's personal bagpipe player walk away while playing her requested lament was an outstanding way for her reign and final journey home to officially end. The music fading away is so moving it makes your heart skip a beat. The finality was evident. Queen Elizabeth II has left this world. Now she can rest eternally and peacefully with those who went before her. Job well done, Your Highness. God Save The King. Sincerely, your cousin from across the pond.
So true, I was losing it there.

Oh man that shot at 7:45 of Charles - putting aside all the trappings of his stations, he is a man in the twilight of his own life, who's just lost both his parents in the space of a year. Especially now the mother he held so dear. Not many of us are lucky enough to have our parents for that long. If you're lucky enough to have a good relationship with your parents, appreciate them while they're around ❤

The lowering of the casket is so incredibly sad. I lost my niece in April and when they lowered her casket into the ground I wanted to throw myself in there. It was heartbreaking. I feel for the Royal family. You can see how much pain they are in. Rest in Peace your Majesty.
There is hope beyond the grave in Jesus Christ!
It was quite a moving service. But after the cameras turned off and everyone left, the immediate Family and friends of her late Majesty returned later for the final service.
In a short ceremony that was not filmed the coffins of both the Queen and her beloved Prince Philip were brought out the Royal Vault and were buried In the King George VI Memorial Chapel to rest alongside the Queen’s father, mother and sister…to await the resurrection.

This feels so surreal. The queen has been the queen for so long. My entire life, even my parent's entire life. Hard to believe
Yes 70 year long rule over United Kingdom from 1952 to 2022, that makes her the longest rulling british monarch, when Victoria ruled for 67 years and now she is second in having the longest rule over great britain. She started her rule as 26 years old and ended it as 96 year old. I think Charles third will rule for maxium of 20 years, when he is already so old, like the same thing with the king after Victoria who was also so old by then, when Victoria ruled for so long.
Same here.
Why it's hard to believe? Aren't we all going to die ?
So 'surreal" In your head, In the world of the Matrix.
I'm not British, but I still deeply respect the queen. In the past 70 years, no matter how the world around her has changed, she is always she. She is always there, with her wisdom, charm and nobleness. Thank you, your majesty for your life long service. And now you can finally rest in peace.

Hello 😇 I’m really impressed with your comment, if you don’t mind friendship where are you from?
So difficult to lose your mother, and more so after having her in your life for so many years.
Not really 😏 having your parent in your life until your 70's is a huge blessing and I don't believe its actually harder than losing a parent in, say, your 20's. Should you live a long life you then live it *without* their advice, assistance or protection. Your decisions and even well being are affected. I'm not trying to be a jerk but just the way Charles was lucky in being born royal, male and into a huge amount of money & resources he also got both of his parents until old age. Just ridiculous, how much some people are handed in life.
@@victoriadiesattheend.8478 Totally dependent, I guess, on the relationship you had with them. Charles was brought up by nannies, as was Anne. He alluded to this later in life in an interview. Maybe he got to know her as an adult. Who knows?
@@victoriadiesattheend.8478 Thank you! His parents lived till 96 and 99, they have been through all his milestones in his life, even seen births of great grandkids. But those that lose their young parent will never have them by their side and go through that constant emptiness when they achieve something significant. HM the Queen lived the buttery smooth life than could ever be lived by a human being, she died because she was old, she was standing up, her organs functioning optimally 2 days before her death, she had no chronic illness, no disability, no cancer nothing. She died because humans can't live beyond that, except rare exceptions. On the contrary, her father was the one who suffered greatly and died in his mid 50s, ailing and bed ridden. I could even say William and Harry had it worse, losing their mum so young. Old people dying is a happy event, they're not putting their fam in danger or leaving them to fend for themselves.

😭
That scene alone with the casket lowering into the vault spoke VOLUMES of the finality of it all. She is GONE. This is the second time I saw Charles crying. It took supreme effort to prevent the tears from streaming down his face. But his eyes were totally flooded. We can be as strong as we like to think, BUT it when you are at the graveside and see the body being lowered... that is what really gets a person.

What I will miss most is her wave. She was absolutely iconic and cannot ever be replaced.
The Queen didn't do anything for anyone, not once did she speak out against any of the natural and man made disasters or offer any kind of help or comfort. She didn't serve her people, ask one of her many servants who was serving who. Like you said, the only thing that will be missed is her wave.
@@itsdamnfox2899 Yes she did. She listened to others concerns and she via her representatives acted on them. She is a constitutional monarchy by birth and order. She upholds a system in place for centuries. The defender of the faith as mentioned for a start. I never got to see my grandparents, but this Queen and her legacy is with us all forever entwined. @Its Damn Fox Clearly you don't understand the British political system. According to the British constitution the monarch cannot voice their politics opinions and they have to remain neutral on every matter. If you want them to do something go change the constitution. Also, if you still feel like The Queen owes you some answers and response you can go down there and ask her, she might agree now that she is no longer the reigning monarch.
She opened up alot of conversations with foreign offices then politicians followed her to effect changes within communities and countries in duress. She made hard decisions at a cost to herself and her family to serve people in her Commonwealth family. She stayed the cause of serving for 70 years without complaining and explaining so we the global community could benefit. God bless the Queen.

Very true. It was beautiful.

The bagpipe being played perfectly mirrors how Prince Philip’s funeral had the exact same thing one year prior. She is now reunited with him.
The pall bearers did a marvelous job carrying the Queen, great work to everyone who made Her Majesty's send off a historic moment. Some people are criticizing all these are just shallow "pageantries", but my God, this is more than that. I am not British but i could not have been more proud and envious of their unity and love for their queen and their nation. Very rare to see these days. I'm proud to be part of the Commonwealth. The fade of the bagpipes was stunning. The Queen had Scottish Ancestory she wanted the bagpipe to exit like that & it was her final & now I'm going...
What touched me the most, was the man with the bagpipes, leaving ... so beautiful and calm.😌
I cried watching this. It was like no she’ll be back. She’s the only monarch I have ever known. And the bagpipe playing into the distance always brings tears.

She was the mother of her nation for many years. It is okay to cry. i am an American, and I did when I heard she had passed. Why is that? We have no king or queen. IF Princess Charlotte becomes one. If her big brother, George, has children, they will fall in line behind him and she will get passed over.
Charlotte is unlikely to ever be Queen. She will only be Queen if her brother, Prince George dies without children.(or abdicates) If he dies with children, the succession goes to them instead.
Hopefully Catherine's parents are good Grandparents as well!

Well I cried again. As the coffin was being lowered, and the the bagpipes with the man slowly walking away and then gone. I cannot fathom how the Royals hold it in. They are a magnificent family. I'm not sure I'd let young kids in a funeral. I saw a 5 yr old sobbing as his Mom and him went up to his Dad's casket, and I lost it for that so young boy. It's not weak to cry, or to do it in Public, yet I know if say King Charles III, or any of the Princes and Princess Anne had cried openly, the nation, and the world couldn't have borne it. So yeah they are a magnificent family.
Even Jesus Christ cried when Lazarus died. (John 11: 35 NIV)

Meeting her would change nothing about your life or the world you live in. Think bigger.
If it _must_ be a queen, then you could always try to meet Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. She's a lovely old lady who has ruled Denmark for 50 years (and eagle eyed folk might have spotted her attending Elizabeth's funeral).
But if you're 13 then you might well be around for Britain's next Queen. At present the 7 year old Princess Charlotte is 2nd in line to the throne, although if her big brother George goes on to have kids, they will inherit ahead of her. If his first kid is a girl, then she'll be next after him. So who knows really, we could have another Queen within decades or not for a century!

I cannot imagine what he’s going through right now. Grief - the price we pay for love - knows no time limit, nor is a respecter of age. I’m sure he would have been as devastated to lose both of his parents back to back years at 13 as he has at 73.
He really loved his mom it shows, he actually looks lost without her. 😢
He was so lucky to have his parents as long as he did. I lost my mother when I was 18.. I’m 66 now. I so wish I would have gotten to know her as an adult. So many unanswered questions. But grief is grief regardless of when you lose your family.
