    The majority of the people you see are serving soldiers. These are not just people dressed up for the occasion they are serving, decorated soldiers. It is the biggest showing since the last Coronation and it will be logistically very well all worked out.

    These people, I should say the guards etc, are not hurting anyone and should be given respect, and it is great for tourism, it is fine and should be supported... Plus the UK is probably the best in the world at doing this.

      Excuxs me but "harrassing the Guards as a lot of them do (not all of them so but the vast majority do, their behaviour at times and this is at most times, is unacceptable. Yes I agree with you that the tourists should be an asset but these are peoiple who never go into the Household Cavalry Shops on site nor in the Museum. so how is that an assett. The tourists have been coming to London as I have since 1953 every year and every year I have bought from their venues I have visited and that is what is known as supporting these venues. and because of the joy I get from my visits, I don't get "drunk" nor to I harrass the guardsmen and horses as i have had over so many years, I always buy items from their venues as I would sooner help to fund these young men and now women too who keep us safe year in year out.

      They are pretend guards and are only there to generate revenue from tourists . If they were actually proper soldiers then why do the police go and hold their hand when a tourist upsets them . The pagentry was a sight to behold...
    I loved watching the skill of horseman handling their mounts. The marching of the forces representing the Commonwealth was truly a joy to watch. The working royals in regala and all the rest of the family members gathered to show loyalty. The support of the coronation of King Charles III and his queen Camilla was good to see. Still, remembering Princess Di. The tragedy of all this is that the rift in the family can be seen and felt. Bottom line, is that it is a family. Pure and simple. I hope that healing will happen at some point.
    Forgiveness for what cannot be changed...
    Now, from around the globe, all the love and support was truly a joy to watch.

      Try moving there and don’t be surprised if you feel differently. Those who actually live there are starting to lose faith in their declining country. It’s been slowly but surely ruined by a greed ridden, self serving political class. Where the leading politicians are completely out of touch with the lives of ordinary people. They don’t seem to comprehend that it’s not acceptable or normal to have towns and cities littered with food banks.

    • @CosmicTeapot
      @CosmicTeapot 5 місяців тому

      @@TheMazza595 The political class of a democracy is a reflection of its electorate. There have always been and will always be self serving opportunistic assholes... the real question is: why are they given power? The solution starts with the people: how many of them vote, or take real interest in politics for that matter? How many expand their horizons, sharpen their critical thinking skills, and carefully evaluate the candidates put before them so as to not fall prey to populism or obvious lies? I don't blame the clowns in charge so much as I blame the fools who freely give them the reins of power.

    It still brings a naughty grin to my face when I see senior officers (office variety) and non British officers marching,you can tell it’s something they do maybe 4 times a year and NOWHERE near the standard of of fantastic serving NCOs. I’m a proud veteran SNCO of nearly 30yrs and I’m so proud to have serve our beloved late Queen Elizabeth.

    The guards are an elite force. Proven loyalty, and proven bravery. Over and over again. They're traditions and battle honours are long and unfathomable.
    Now for the joke; how do you know it's horse guards?
    They're all related.

      Who goes to France or Germany for this last remaining live history. Hey just a yank here. Not that those countries should have kept a Monache. But UK managed to incorporate this into their gov.
      Won't last forever, nothing does. See it while you can. No matter how King Charles slims the Royals will never be enough for some. Take his money, for what illegals.

      While I think the monarchy itself should become more like the Dutch or Danish monarchies most of the time we should keep at least some of the pagentary

    0:44 Could have had nice cars with their nations flag here really. It is really nice to see they were equally included. But I can't help thinking they felt as out of place as their timing, and the people that were drilled unable to properly represent their nation. But you can't give anyone an excuse now, so weirdly, they all did their bit there. Good show!!
