It was like loosing your grandmother. Expected, yet not, thinking somehow she would live forever. She was a credit to the United Kingdom, to her family and her family. She always had a sense of mystery, because no one really knew what she thought or felt, other than maybe her family. When Philip died, a huge part of her died as well, and she needed to be with the live of her life.
Every time that I watch videos about HM Queen Elizabeth, especially of this day, I have tears running down my cheeks. At 68, I had never known another monarch. She will always be THE Queen. Irreplaceable. An unbelievable role model to so many. We shall not see her like again.

The Queen was one in a million. She was strong willed kind funny loving and knew her job better than anyone. When she lost Philip I knew that she was not going to be around much longer when you lose your soul mate it's a sadness that doesn't go away. She is home now and I hope her father knows how well Elizabeth did her job. Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth II
As a kid, I always thought of her as a loving grandmother. She had grace, elegance, and a caring and calming spirit, it’s going to be impossible to replace someone like her.
Regardless of what one may think of the monarchy, there is no doubt that Queen Elizabeth's impact will continue to be felt not only in the UK, but also around the world.
That's good to hear. It has been heartening how litle anti-monarchy ranting there has been. People have seemed to understand that marking the death of Queen Elizabeth II has absolutely nothing to do with your views on The Monarchy as an institution... It has been about saluting the extraordinary life and service of one remarkable woman.
I think what’s special about the British monarchy is it’s ability to unite the nation, even in the toughest of times. Unlike monarchies that function and govern as absolute dictatorships, the British monarchy has for over a thousand years had a parliament, with a functioning government-the first democracy in the form of parliament; and the basis for which all democracies today, were created. The parliamentary democracy-the suit of parliament the British introduced to the world and is the basis in which all democracies today, were formed. What’s also great is the role they play in representing the country-as its head of state, its people and the nations values. The reason the US has the second amendment and the right to bear arms is to prevent total government control. The British don’t have that problem, because the monarch sits above the government. In essence, preventing such a scenario with powers to dissolve parliament when required. The armed forces swear allegiance, under oath, to the sovereign-the monarchy and the monarch-not the government. QE II was a truly remarkable woman, who embraced such drastic evolution in society and kept the monarchy from ever falling out of touch with the people. You might be surprised to learn that the parliamentary monarchy is actually proven to be more democratic than any other alternative suit of democracy used in governance, today. People look at monarchies and think of absolute power and control, the British monarchy has not seen anything of the sort for over a thousand years, when parliament was introduced in the 13th century. It also generates billions in revenue and the economy benefits significantly because of it. The UK is in every way better off with the monarchy, than it ever would be without. The approx. £1.35 brits each pay annually in tax to keep it running, is practically nothing considering how much it brings to the country.
It truly hits you now, when she was lowered, her jewels taken off, and her promise "We will meet again" being repeated over and over! Thought she was immortal when I read biographies about her....May Her Majesty RIP, God save the King AND Queen!❤️🩹👸
Her majesty had a great way of finding the words that needed saying even if we did not want to hear them. She famously wrote to President Bush after she had the US National Anthem played the day after 9/11 to comfort stranded and grieving Americans in the UK and said "Grief is the price we pay for love". President Biden repeated those same words in tribute to her this last week. She of course knew what it felt like to have her city bombed and her own home was bombed 9 times. She spoke to Americans experiencing something they had never experienced before from her own personal experience. That phrase 'We will meet again' which was taken from a wartime song she knew first hand was a message of hope and invoked a sense of purpose as we weathered the COVID storms. Archbishop Welby repeated those same words in tribute to her yesterday but also reminded those who believe why they believe. Two very simple phrases (out of so many) that hold true in so many different scenarios. Rest in peace your Majesty. Your duty is done Ma'am. Stand down.

I was so deeply touched by the entire service. Queen Elizabeth II was such a devoted Queen, who never failed her country or the commonwealth. The funeral service was so moving. I'm from the UK, so this was deeply touching to me as she was the woman of my generation, showing such strength and dignity during her reign, and during my life time up to her death. Seeing the corgis, her crown being removed from the coffin ending her 70 year reign and her coffin being lowered into the The Royal Vault really hit a spot and made me cry, although I was watching from my bedroom, I stood the entire time, saluting a tremendous Queen.

I'm so empress to Prince George and Princess Charlotte they are both fashionable, good looking, composure and well mannered.. the Prince and Princess of Wales raised the well.
“we will meet again” having a very special significance for the Queen and British people as it was the words sung by Vera Lynn during the Second World War whilst the Armed services were fighting: “we’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when, but i know we’ll meet again one sunny day”.
This so-called 'Queen' leaves behind a legacy of denial of treacherous plunder from nations, killing of innocent, unarmed civilians through inhuman laws and staying defiant on the crimes against humanity that her Empire perpetrated. She had 70 years to openly repent for their actions, but never once did I hear I'm sorry, or please forgive us, not once. She also had all the time in the world to return some or all of the stolen stones and artifacts from Africa and Indian subcontinent but never did. The torture, and Mutilation of people in the colonies can never be forgotten, or forgiven. She must be remembered in the light of her greedy, selfish actions and not some romanticized, redundant title. May those who perished because of her family's greed find peace. May humanity be spared from such characters in future. Americans and American media should be ashamed of themselves for glorifying this family with racist and colonialist history. On one hand they claim they fight for black civil rights and on the other hand they glorify racism and colonialism. Why do you celebrate July 4 if Colonial British were so benevolent? Hypocrites

I still cry for the queen even tho I’m still only in my 30s because she was all I knew and all my parents knew. She was a symbol of hope and power, Britain is weaker without her
"The End, Of An Era" May her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Rest In Peace.
When the Cortage passed the Balcony at Buckingham Palace I thought Not three months ago We watched as the Queen waved to Us for her Jubilee. Then I cried. She gave us her Life and we Loved her for it. Rest in Peace my Most Exalted Monarch Queen Elizabeth the 2nd .. God Save the King
She was a good leader . They world will miss someone like her . Even the 🐈🐩🐐🐇🐁🦍🦒🐑🐑🐕🐀will miss her because she was so good to everyone . May her soul rest in peace
Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth II
very well said❤

The queen was the greatest Queen ever lived throughout 70 years of her life
My local binman is better and has done more for his community then the queen, but ok

As a kid, I always thought of her as a loving grandmother. She had grace, elegance, and a caring and calming spirit, it’s going to be impossible to replace someone like her.
RIP Queen Elizabeth (from Canberra, Australia 27 Sept 2024)
Regardless of what one may think of the monarchy, there is no doubt that Queen Elizabeth's impact will continue to be felt not only in the UK, but also around the world.
Good riddance, a shameful and disgusting human being. The Queen was worse than Hilter, yet she is celebrated, crazy world we live in.
Rest in peace 💔
It was amazing to be part of our queens final farewell

Good riddance, a shameful and disgusting human being. The Queen was worse than Hilter, yet she is celebrated, crazy world we live in.
I’m not big on Monarchies, but it’s quite an amazing tribute and experience to witness
Same here, alas regarding amazing & experience, I obviously lack understanding ,..so be it !
Stand down.
Beautiful words, and absolutely correct in every detail.

My favorite part was when the crown was removed and the wand snapped....and now there is a king....finally
She had this overwhelming power over her that it makes me choked up still watching this again. And I'm not even British!
it’s so saddening, I usually didn’t think about the queen that much but now she’s gone I can’t stop. It truly shows how you don’t realize how much you admire someone until their truly gone. It’s very sad how they took her crown as soon as her death. She was so sweet, charming, and humorous. Rest In Peace, and long live the queen. -11:08pm , January 28th, 2023.
Well said.
What an incredible and admirable woman she was. We will never see the likes of her again. Rest in Peace dear Queen Elizabeth.
Thank you ABC for doing this tribute ❤️ I was crying and really gonna miss Queen Elizabeth 😔❤️

Golly gosh, what a segment. Well done and thank you America 🙏🏼🇬🇧🇺🇸
I watched a lot of the coverage and bookmarked a lot of the coverage till I had time to watch them. I am still getting teary eyed watching now and I'm a American. Her Majesty The Queen most renounced person in the world, most respected, most loved and the only Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother ever to rule the world with perspective to change when it was necessary and the compassion and class that no one will ever achieve.
Her response to Covid made the World feel better I know in the states it did but then again we had Donald Trump and she was a rational thinking person who had empathy and compassion and knew when she had to make a statement the would lift up everyone.
We Americans don't have Pomp and Circumstance and the Britt's do it the best. The UK and the Commonwealth should be PROUD that they had her as their Queen. She was really the World's Queen. Rest in Peace.
Tearing up reading this. Thank you for showing up for her, from a Brit 🇺🇲🇬🇧

“we will meet again” having a very special significance for the Queen and British people as it was the words sung by Vera Lynn during the Second World War whilst the Armed services were fighting: “we’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when, but i know we’ll meet again one sunny day”.
One of the greatest moments in human history: farewells to one extraordinary person.
Deeply condolences to the queen. What a good ruler she was! May she Rest In Peace.
Hypocrites
