Black is such an incredible song. To be fair, all of Ten is amazing.
Pearl Jam and Tupac defined my Highschool/College years
I'd argue that Ten is one of the best debut albums ever.
@@robschoenung9543 Iagree imo. Ten would be my hypothetical stranded on a deserted island and only had one album to listen to until rescued thing ya do when younger with friends.
I love that almost all of Ten has funk drumming. So interesting.
Ten was one of the last albums to fill itself with all amazing tracks. Most CDs/Albums are vehicles for one or two tracks.
Never been a more accurate depiction of heartache.
Try listening to a song by Bon Iver called A Song for a Lover of Long Ago. Listen to the whole thing. Theres a break at the end, and it starts again. That is another song about heartache that will leave you feeling like it happened to you.
One of the best live performances you will ever see. Eddie is a legend
*hear
She just fell in love like the rest of us🖤🤟
Eddie is ICONIC. He's still ROCKING 30 YEARS later. ✌️
It is hard to believe that this album ”Ten” is already 32 years old. I was 26 when it came out and now at 58 it still gives me the shivers!!
Greetings from 🇫🇮
I’m 47 years old now and was in high school when this came out. Right in the middle of my tern angst years.
Ten is utter perfection, from Once to Release Me, and every track in between. Brilliant! ❤
Eddie Vedder was our baritone grunge king!!!
Eddie Vedder claimed another female soul.
Dolores O'Riordan.
I was looking for this comment
Hahahaha. We are here to do his bidding. Just waiting for the signal. 😂
Going on 32yrs now😂❤
He's my secret hubby ❤❤❤
Eddie was recovering from a cold in this performance too. Very impressive.
Welcome to listening to Vedder. I’ve been doing it since ‘90, and I always will.
Plays his voice like an instrument ! Outstanding vocalist!!
MORE PEARL JAM!!! Great reaction 👍
Yes 🙌 ❤
In the early 90s, four bands emerged from the obscure Seattle underground, and took the world by storm. They were:
-Alice in Chains
-Pearl Jam
-Nirvana
-Soundgarden
Collectively, they were known as “grunge.”
Please dive deep into each of these bands.
I love seeing professionals examine music from my childhood/teen years.
Imagine being a teenager when this came out... sitting with friends and beer next to a river! Such an amazing time.
I was a freshman in 90 and graduated in 94 and this album still jams in my player regularly and I have been exactly where you were at with the cold ones and the River on multiple occasions. When it was new and fresh and the world made subs and was wide open!! Miss it
GRUNGE MUSIC🔥
The Big Four:
Aic
Nirvana
Pearljam
SoundGarden
I must have listened to this acoustic version a million god damn times and still to this day when Eddie goes wild after the first Chorus my eyes tear up. One of greatest songs ever made
100%
Amen to that. Such an ode.
Layne and Chris await. God Loves Grunge!!!
Get a girl that looks at you like Emma looks at Eddie. lol, all kidding aside, his voice is magical. Thank you!
Remember, this is a live performance
This was from a different era of music. We wanted something real after the ridiculous glam rock of the 80’s. It didn’t have to be pitch perfect and polished in the studio. Eddy Eedder, Layne Staley, Shannon Hoon, Scott Weiland, Kurt Cobain, and others and the bands they were in gave it to us. Real musicians. Real music.
Least glam rock guitarist could perform a guitar solo 😎
There was nothing wrong with hair metal. It just got to the point of over saturation. But I still love it 🎸🎸
All music has it's place, context and value. I'll never limit my experience in life.
Dude calm tf down lol.
I think someone has a crush 😆
I know I do
We all do ❤
Jeremy will make you cry
Evenflow the are rocking out live
Yes. After 30 plus years this song still gives me an eargasom too.
I ❤ PJ...
The shakiness is definitely his tember that's how he sounds all the time.
Emma is almost in tears!!
More pearl jam PLS
I think it's one of the Best moments of rock n'roll. Pearl Jam, at this time, waw...
Funny fact about unplugged. They have to stay on their tool or they can get sue. Knowing that you have yo do Porch unplugged
😊
Great reaction to a great band. You are so beautiful. Cheers fromTexas!!
Finally BLACK👍👍👍👍👍👍
Eddie is my favorite singer, is voice is so unique, profound and beautiful
He and Cornell are Staylist..
Pearl jam forever chills since the 90s
Temple of the Dog - Hunger strike
Pearl Jam - Footsteps
Pearl Jam - Just Breathe
The way he flips into falsetto is amazing!!!
Ten was one my favourite albums from the 90's.
Whew!! He touches my heart! Awesome!!!
I believe he had a cold during this unplugged session
GOOSEBUMPS and tears every time ❤
Growing up with pearl jam and nirvana...it was a trip... Now listening to younger generation ls listening to them and reacting positively to them warms my old heart
Eddie is amazing!!!!
This whole album 10 is spectacular. It was their big breakout album and I saw them on this tour outside on a hill on the university campus. Eddie was swinging out over the crowd on an overhead mic cable until the mic broke off ,and then he swung around like Tarzan, out over the mosh pit and then back almost over the drums. And then like a little monkey, he began to just scramble all over the lighting rig until he ended up way high at the top where there was another microphone and he finished out the song.
The best front man of the 90s. Should check him out in another Band he was in with another amazing front man Chris Cornell. The band is " Temple Of The Dog. Song is " Hunger Strike " love you Emma❤🤘😍🥰🤩😁
Temporarily until he joined them permanently and they changed the name of the band to Pearl Jam.
Chris Cornell too! Great singer
Pearl Jam's "Ten" album is one of mine favorite. Lyrics, energy, story telling, etc."Release" is the last, but since my dad died, it is the first song from this legendary album. ; Eddie=poetry.
To think that this performance almost never happened! He belted this out with Laryngitis!
If you do, Jeremy, which I highly recommend, you have to do the official, uncensored version!
Yes!
It’s one of my favourites from this band. Especially this version
One of my all time favorites ❤
Whenever I see these reaction videos, it surprises me that there’s people who have never listened to PJ, but also happy that they decided to
Shows someone's greatness when they can perform like this whilst unwell and getting the lyrics wrong. Pearl Jams MTV performance was off the scale.
Goosebumps
My favorite band a n d voice of my 1990s💪😎👍
Such a classic! I always keep this song on repeat in my Pandora playlist
This song hit so hard when I was young. I lost my star in my sky and it was so hard. I found another Star and she shines brighter every year. 🥹
- WISHLIST
- DAUGHTER
- WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER
A beautiful react to an amazing performance.
Please do Pearl Jam "PORCH" Live From "Pinkpop '92" so you can get a better idea of Eddie's "Temper", as you put it. It will help you understand his, ummm, passion 😅.

One and only living legend Grunge Eddie V
All the grunge singers are the best
Eddie Vedder
Chris Cornell
Layne Staley
Kurt Cobain
Scott Weiland
Each generation has one great singer who comes along, and shakes the world to its knees.
Grunge had like seven!
He lived that shit! Amazing
Check out "Release''. I think you'll be impressed!!
That whole show was great. Most of the early Unplugged shows were inedible.
So cool
Great reaction and analysis of my favourite singer; Eddie is an absolute one off! He is just a master of this type of singing!
Liked and subscribed 🌹
