I've NEVER seen anyone with hair as straight and fine as mine give it volume! I'm so glad you showed the before because I would never have believed it. Thank you!
OMG THANK YOU! I have super fine, thin hair like you and I struggle to style it. I hated that I couldn't make it look cute and full like girls with thick hair. Please keep the videos coming!!
I'm exhausted just watching! Thanks for the tips! Love the idea of the crimping tool. I will try this the next time I can find the energy to not just throw it in a bun.
Your hair looks amazing! But, there's no way I could make time for that in my busy days. I go for a more carefree, maintenance-free hairstyle and this would definitely only be a special occasion deal for me. 😊
I feel like this is too product heavy when using so much stuff of my hair tends to weigh it down. Though it does seem like a great tutorial for fine hair for like a special occasion but this is way too involved as an everyday routine.
Your hair turned out lovely. I think I may have a wimpy iron like your friend. I also need to be more generous with product. I always fear I will weigh it down or make it too wet. After watching your technique, I am going to make some adjustments. Thanks for the advice!
I have thin hair too..so happy you made this video! Great tips! Also loved your video on your everyday make up! Who am I kidding love all the videos 😘😘 Thank you..love your family
This is a really, really, really great video!!! Powerful techniques, straight to the point ---the best!!, and I love it!!! Bookmarking this video and I will pursue the products you mentioned!!! Also your earrings are so cute --if you don't mind, please share where you found them!!! (Thank you). :)
what curling iron did alyssa use in the video where she turned her best friend alexa into her??it was like last year. I have been looking for a good curling iron and i loved her curls in that video!!! it would make my day if y’all replied💛💛love y’all
I'm also a cosmetologist and I've been for 30 years. I have thin and fine hair. The absolute worst combination. I say the more ruffed up my hair is the better it styles lol, but saying the dirtier is another way to say it.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money for this Vulume thing just buy a Bedhead crimper. I think it was 30 dollars. Just make sure you don't go to close to the top or like she says it'll show through. Go as underneath as you can. Also before use a heat spray but let it dry some before crimping.
I'm wondering how much time you need between make up and hair every day. At what time do you wake up to get ready ? (this is not a sarcastic question, just out of curiosity) .
squeeeeeeeee!!!! you are *so cute* what a cutie pie, and mahalo so very much for your tips and info about the tools and products. very helpful! the thin hair struggle is *real*! much love and light from the 50th state of Hawaii!
My hair takes a very very very long time to grow. I’m eleven turning twelve and in those eleven years me hair has not grown past my shoulders and has never reached my shoulders. It is very fine and thin and likes to do it’s own thing. It’s very light and the ends will just s float there if I don’t tie it up. What can I do to help it?
Just been reading through your fan messages and I'm left wondering why you have not been able to answer any questions like you said you would in your video? Hope you are well and not poorly, kind regards a recent subscriber.. 🤔
A dab. A very small dab of light pomade works for me. Warm it up in your hands by rubbing and the run through your hair after you’ve curled it. May take a few tries for you to figure out how much to use. It will not only get rid of frizzy it help holds movement (curls, waves) in your hair and helps to bring hair families (individual strands or curls) together for a thicker more tame look.
Does the rat hair comb not damage your hair? I’ve never done it because I thought it would break my already fine brittle hair. Would you still crimp the hair if your hair was not straight? Mine is wavy but super fine like yours. My ends are always dry so I use a dry oil like dry bar dry condition spray or argon oil on the ends. I usually was every 2-3 days other wise my roots are greasy. I do use dry shampoo for texture and to absorb oil.
Wow. When the video creator likes your comment but doesn’t take ten seconds to answer your question that kinda tells you that they aren’t actually reading what you wrote, huh? Kind of a bummer!
iv just found your channel , great advice im going to try some tips tomorrow, my main reason for commenting tho , is your hair type seems very similar to mine and with mine i struggle to hold a curl , if there over night heatless curls then theyll stay for about 2 days but any other heat curls just drop straight out , any advice ?
Absolutely your hair looks awesome !!LOL u said you were a 💇 for 15 plus years ...omg you must have started at 10 😳😃you look so young ..wish I had that problem😢
I have really things nd long hair I always wanted a spiral perm since I was 8 years old I'm 45 now do you think a spiral perm would be ok for my hair it's as thin as yours is in this video
I've NEVER seen anyone with hair as straight and fine as mine give it volume! I'm so glad you showed the before because I would never have believed it. Thank you!

Then a hot flash hits and you go flat at the roots
I'm exhausted just watching! Thanks for the tips! Love the idea of the crimping tool. I will try this the next time I can find the energy to not just throw it in a bun.

Haha I was thinking the same thing 😆😂

What I was thinking too
Best video I’ve seen yet on how to volumize thin hair! Just gorgeous!!😍 Thx!
yes
This transformation was actually amazing I wish I could do this but I don't have the patience :(
Wow. Those styling techniques really did make your hair look thicker. Good job.
What is the brush that you used to rat up your hair? I would like to get the link for it. Thank you.
That is a teasing brush
I bought the volumiser tool from Amazon. It is amazing even when I do a straight hairstyle. Thanks for the advice
What is the name of the tool?
I essentially use dry shampoo the way you used that texture spray, and I've also used a crimper to lift Roots underneath
Thank you for sharing! Your hair looks amazing and I will definitely be using these tips!!
My hair would feel like a birds nest after all these products! 😂 The teasing omg fine hair don’t mix , 100% breakage!!
Your hair turned out lovely. I think I may have a wimpy iron like your friend. I also need to be more generous with product. I always fear I will weigh it down or make it too wet. After watching your technique, I am going to make some adjustments. Thanks for the advice!
Wow! What a difference, amazed with that result.
I can’t wait to try these tips. Is your hair all one length or do you have some layers?
Good job! Wish there were more hair tutorials.. you were so great in this..

Betsy, you look beautiful in thin hair too!!! Luv ur channel:>>>>
That was awesome. I'll try it for the weekend! Thanks. My hair is about as fine as yours but it's curly, but I don't always wear it curly.
Thanks for all of these kinds of videos x
I love the idea of crimping instead of backcombing.
She backcombed it after crimping. What she called “ratting” lol. Is back combing
Thanks so much for the fun tips. I don't see a link for the teasing brush or Rootie.
I use the voloom!!
The comb isn’t linked? I loved this 🙌🙌💜
Would have loved to see your hair 10 hours later too ;) Thanks!
Thank you so much for posting this and you look amazing!
How long does this actually take you?
what curling iron did alyssa use in the video where she turned her best friend alexa into her??it was like last year. I have been looking for a good curling iron and i loved her curls in that video!!! it would make my day if y’all replied💛💛love y’all
Thank you so much this really help I tried it right after I watched this video
It works
Fantastic products, great ideas, looks beautiful
Hi Betsy! Love all your videos! Can you tell me what color your hair is? I’d love to have my hair done the same color! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😘
Nice video. FYI. Bedhead makes a tool similar to the Voluma. I am sure it is less expensive. Bought mine at Ulta.
Love this! But also, YOUR LASHES!!
Hi, love your hair, mine is thin too 😬 would you please link the teasing brush? Thank you 🙏
I'm also a cosmetologist and I've been for 30 years. I have thin and fine hair. The absolute worst combination. I say the more ruffed up my hair is the better it styles lol, but saying the dirtier is another way to say it.
I just found you. You are stunning! Flat or full hair! Thanks for the ideas.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money for this Vulume thing just buy a Bedhead crimper. I think it was 30 dollars. Just make sure
you don't go to close to the top or like she says it'll show through. Go as underneath as you can. Also before use a heat spray but let it dry some before crimping.
Hi I noticed you did not put a heat protectant in your hair. Did I miss that? I am afraid of damaging my already thin hair. Please let me know!
I'm wondering how much time you need between make up and hair every day. At what time do you wake up to get ready ? (this is not a sarcastic question, just out of curiosity) .
Absolutely stunning!! And you are so beautiful! Thank you for the tipS & trickS! ❤❤❤
I just want to know how long your curl last? Any update products that keep your hair style last days?
Dry shampoo takes away my natural shine. How about the one you're using?
😳😂 The cans must be empty after you styled your hair.
But the result looks beautiful.
How often do you wash your hair?
squeeeeeeeee!!!! you are *so cute* what a cutie pie, and mahalo so very much for your tips and info about the tools and products. very helpful! the thin hair struggle is *real*! much love and light from the 50th state of Hawaii!
What mascara do you use. Your eyelashes are sooooo pretty.
super cute! whats the easiest way to detangle it at the end of the day, though?
Love ❤️ your hair Betsy!

I pin curl mine....fluffy , gives volume and stays in longer
You probably go through those sprays soooo fast lol damn
Oh my gosh thank you so much for this video ❤️💜❤️💜
Do you use any product after washing and before drying?
Would redken wind blown be a dupe for the air spray?
Just been reading through your fan messages and I'm left wondering why you have not been able to answer any questions like you said you would in your video? Hope you are well and not poorly, kind regards a recent subscriber.. 🤔
My hair is super fine and ultra frizzy. It’s insane. Any tips

Seriously so beautiful
Can you link the hair crimper? Thanks 😊
amzn.to/2wTcbc6. 😊
Those earrings are everything!!!
Thank you for making this video!!!
I loved your video! Thank you for your wonderful tips
i woudn't say your hair is thin, but rather flat fine hair.
Thin hair is sparse, scalp is more visible.
Love this video!! Please do more… you haven’t done any in a while that I can see. 💕
Do you know how people make their hair shinny and smooth like in the Pantene commercials?
Lol could be a little bit of camera work there. Little photoshopping and filtering involved I’d say.
Does highlighting make thin hair appear thicker?
I like your hair straight better betsy
AMAZING! I have a crimper so I can use that! 😄
Hi, what are the links for the curling iron and hair crimper?
Ok I have I very thin hair... more than yours! But I don't have a stunning face shape like you!
Your so beautiful! 🥰

Hi my hair is very fine, thin, Curley and dry! I am wondering if this would frizz out my already dry hair?
What can one use for the roots because we do not have the products here where I live in south africa. Can you suggest something else. Regards sonja
I’m enjoying your beauty tutorials! Your lashes are awesome! Do you have falsies or what amazing mascara do you use?
Wow. When the video creator likes your comment but doesn’t take ten seconds to answer your question that kinda tells you that they aren’t actually reading what you wrote, huh? Kind of a bummer!
So cute at the end tho... lol with the posing... uh....thanks!!!!
