What are your thoughts on Gnosticism? I think it is quite interesting
Is eternal life eternal?
Does God transformed the heart?
Do those in the vine produce fruit?
Does God prune those in the vine?
Are we regarded as sons for correction?
Can the redeemed, from the heart, curse Jesus?
Does God cause us to walk in his rules and statutes?
By Faith do we have peace with God in Christ?
Is god so weak that the will in men is able to overcome him? Or is god so powerful that he is able to keep you from stumbling?
Is our perceived “will” bestowed supernatural power to resist God? And if so, where did this power come from in the new covenant?
Does God Bring the redeemed to completion?
Can anyone come to Jesus outside of the biblically explicit draw of God?
Does Christ lose any that God gives him?
What is eternal life according to scripture?
What is God’s truth according to Jesus?
If Paul was an apostle, why do you argue against his teachings?
Because none of the apostles were perfect and even they could be wrong about things, therefore it's more than fair to call their words into question. Yes, that's even they claim that their words supposedly "come from God."
After all, a lot of people throughout history have said that their words are of divine origin, and many of them were wrong.

@@cherryfroggo I don't think it really matters whether or not Paul wrote it, because the writer is still an ordinary and imperfect human being, calling all of their words into question anyway.
@@eliesh3833 I agree that either way Paul would have to be called into question as well but I disagree that it "wouldn't make a difference whether or not he wrote it". I worry about the origins of certain books in the Bible

This post makes me cringe. I see any “ Progressive” altar call more as “Come to me“ than any coming to Jesus; much like msny modern day Sunday morning worship services are more like the band having a concert every weekend instead of it being truly a WORSHIP of a biblical Christ. It’s their weekly concert y’all! (Progressive Christianity is not Christianity at all. That’s my conclusion.)

I think so, cause I see a lot of dislikes and not so good like to dislike ratio, but only very little comments.
I think he (as well as UA-cam , considering many of them breaks the terms of service) is removing them due to bigotry.

Wow Brandan…you are so wrong. To be able to align yourself with progressive thought, politics and popular culture, you have placed your words above the Bible. These mental calisthenics require that you choose SOME of the words which conform to YOU. Jesus himself referred to the Old Testament scriptures in his teaching…yet you feel worthy to cast out the uncomfortable parts of the gospel. Please…stop what you are doing…it brings condemnation. My family had three ELCA pastors, so I have watched the progressive nonsense up close. It leads to a life of arrogance and sin.
Brandon, I’ve seen you speak on multiple platforms and I’ve watched some of your sermons. I pray that you will repent from your false teachings and that god will lead you to truth. Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we may have ever lasting life if we accept him as our savior and we do our best to follow his will. I’ve heard you say that Jesus is not the only way to heaven, that Jesus spoke racial slurs, homosexuality is not a sin, that sex can be practiced outside the confines of marriage, and that the bible is filled with errors. These are just some of the concerning teachings I’ve heard from watching your content. I do not claim to be without sin or to have the only correct interpretations of scripture. There are many things that I don’t understand. The Bible is very clear about the things I’ve listed above and I encourage you to use your amazing speaking skills and kind heart to add true followers of Christ to the kingdom of heaven. I say all of this with love and concern. God bless.

He hasn’t called you a demon or devil. And apologetics is all about asking questions. What you do is take the Bible out of context and twist it to fit your own doctrine. The gospel through the lens of apologetics and hermeneutics teaches everyone can be saved. You twist the scripture and the Bible is clear about those who do so.

Thank you Brandon for this genuine, honest and transparent perspective. After two seminary degrees I also came to identify with quite a different understanding of Christianity than my upbringing, but one that feels much much closer to who God is revealed to be in Jesus - FROM scripture!

There is no relative truth but only one objective truth. You cannot deny and twist the word of God and still claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ. You don't misinterpret the scriptures to conform to your opinion, culture, subjective reality or relative truth and claim to be a christian. Most of your teachings and overall theology contradict the Bible truth, despite the scriptural warnings to desist from that and you are still doubling down on your stance. Therefore, I tell you: Except you repent, you shall likewise perish.

24:10 - 24:16 "With that being the basis just following the way of Jesus" reminds me a lot of the serpent's lie in the garden. God says they will die if they eat of the fruit and the serpent says they will know good and evil and not die. They DID die one day and they also did know of good and evil, meaning there was some truth in the lie. Brandon is doing a similar thing with his lie here. He takes the modern definition of love and extrapolates it backwards to Jesus's two biggest commandments: Love God and love others. But the lie comes in when he separates God from Jesus or separates old Testament God from new Testament God. And by doing that, he allows for the modern day definition of love to plop itself right back into the "Love God and love others".
