    I'm stuck between this 11,; Sony 15mm, 1,4 and Sigma 16mm, 1,4...
    11mm such a compact but 15/16 more universal in my opinion and still good for vlogging. 15 Sony best but $$$
    Thank you for nice talking.

      What will you use the lens for, primarily? Talking Head, vlogging, or family stuff? Also, you doing more video or photo? What are your rough percentages of each?

      @@BrianTheCameraGuy More video, but photos too, inside with limited lighting, NO regular vlogging, night landscaping, stars, time-lapse, plus I still have a bace 16-50mm and people using them regularly. Thank you for responding.

      If you are going to wide, then just go right for the 11mm. If uou want the best bang for your buck, the Sigma 16mm is still my favorite APS-C lens. I would say that if you have enough for the 15mm, then maybe go for both the 11mm and the 16mm. Two lenses instead of 1.

      @@BrianTheCameraGuy Right now Amazon have Sone 15mm 1,4 restored (AS new they said, plus 3 month return if any) for $575... Probably going for it...11 mm to special, more for vlogging... Thank you for respond, Boss.

      That seems like a good deal for the 15mm. Glad to help!! Good luck.

    Would you recommend this for a wide lens for a podcast? And real estate videos?

      Real estate for sure! This lens is really wide and would help capture the full room. As far as podcasts, it depends on the size of the room. If it is really tight, then yes. If it is a larger room, I would recommend something a little longer, like the Sigma 16mm f1.4.

    I very much do want this, but I am also painfully aware that new bodies must be coming soon. The lack of (Hardware) stabilization in the ZV-E10 is a real killer. Would rather pair it with the new ones.

      I agree that hardware stab is nice. Not sure when the next new body will be out

      Right now it is the best vlogging lens for the Sony APS-C system. Really enjoyed using the lens!!!

      Not 100% sure what you are asking but this lens with the zv-e10 on a gimbal would make a fantastic combo. You would be very happy with the results.

      @@BrianTheCameraGuy what i am mention is so called shutter .I was reviewed by some1 when you are moving camera fast . You may not understand me well bcoz i am european .😋

    • @BrianTheCameraGuy
      @BrianTheCameraGuy  2 роки тому +1

      You want to make sure your shutter is double your frame rate. 24p or 25p should be at 1/50. At 30p then 1/60, 50p then 1/100, 60p at 1/120 or as close as you can get to those numbers. Is that what you are asking?

      You should be able to get 24p from that camera too. I was able to when I had it.
