I really loved that. I love that your not just beginner. You cater to the more intermediate and advanced, and push us to expand our yoga boundaries! Love you!
I am so grateful today for you Allie, 10 months ago I started exploring your practices and have had no desire to leave! This really is my first introduction to yoga. Have looked at a couple others but nothing is as great as your practices for me!, You do amazing work and have helped me so much..so thank you!
I loveeeee reading this and your post inside the FB group too! I so appreciate you sticking with me, getting on the mat with me, supporting me, and most importantly - living your journey!
Holy hamstrings! Allie, thank you again for sharing your love of yoga. If it wasn't for your videos I don't think I would have continued my yoga practice. I am truly grateful. Namaste
Thank you SO MUCH for getting on the mat with me and making me a part of your journey! Your support and love makes sharing my love of yoga so worth it ❤️
Hey Allie! I just want to say that due to a severe leg injury back in Feb, I hadn't been able to workout for months, and just started getting into yoga in the past couple weeks after finding your videos on here. This was by far the most challenging video of yours that I've tried so far, but my body absolutely needed it, and I actually had an emotional release when things slowed down at the end, crying and laughing
Wow Kaara, thanks for the epic feedback and so happy you dig this video, it's a mega tough one, but a good kinda tough! And so good to hear that you're back on the mat, moving your body, and healing up! xoxo
I just recently found your videos and LOVE your style, voice, postures, and ...every practice I've done with you so far. I have been doing yoga on and off for over 20 years, so have seen a lot of instructors. You are my favorite, hands down! I live in the country, and driving to a yoga class just takes a huge chunk out of my day. I'm so thrilled to be doing it at home with you!! I can pick and choose (love the variation in practices) depending on my mood and energy level. I broke my wrist last fall and had to take a break from yoga for a while, but i'm feeling strong again. I love the zen den! Great vibe....and I love it that you don't have distracting music on. It's just so peaceful and feels like I'm right there with you!
Wow, THANK YOU for all of that wonderful feedback, for inviting me into your home, for tapping into the many classes I offer, and for all those words - making a yogini blush over here! Please keep checking back for more and also come join our online yoga community too, you can sign up here - www.thejourneyjunkie.com/join-the-journey
I loved that video so much!!! I thought about giving you my first comment ever, seeing how perfect you make every workout on my mat! So thank you Allie, to give us all the time these gifts🎁, I love each of them and hope I can enjoy them to the last day of my journey (so never😉)!Sorry if I made some mistakes, french is my first language😋, from Canada, Quebec!
As always such a killer practice, it tough but I think I'm getting better! Reading the comment below, I will just say..as one who has lifted weights most of my life..since finding yoga it has helped to shape my body more than I could have ever thought.. So keep it up, and you WILL see changes! 🐝💚👍
That. Was. Intense! My hamstrings are always tight and, apparently, weak! I will definitely be doing this one many more times! And I want to get to the point where I can extend my leg out in toe stand! That looks AWESOME! Namaste 🙏✨
My hamstrings and booty are definitely awake now!!! This was great, as usual!! When the dog barked in shavasana Tucker went crazy. Barking and trying to figure out where the dog was. 😂 Thank you for another awesome video. ❤️
Thank you! That was delightful! My physical therapist keeps telling me my glutes aren't firing and I need to do more exercises that strengthen them. But I love yoga and find myself doing yoga over general strengthening workouts, and this was the perfect balance of both. Yay, again thank you!
Girl, I am in your same boat, nice round booty that doesn't want to do it's duty.... it's quite the conundrum! So right alongside you with needing to do more glute exercises :)
Welcome Karla and thanks for joining! So glad you're here! If you liked this class, be sure to check out the free community event I'm hosting called the Body Mind Soul Reset! You can learn more here: bit.ly/bmsreset
Perfect! I have a knee problem and went to my physio last week and he told me it’s due to weak hamstrings so he gave me some exercises to do. They’re great, really working but a little boring. So got on UA-cam (best invention since electricity) and found your video. Loved it...absolutely perfect. I’m shaking like a washing machine, but loving that too. 😀 thank you so much. This is going to be a regular practice for me. 🙏🏼💕
Hi Sam! I'm sorry to hear about your knee problem and glad you found what served you on the mat. Thank you so much for practicing with me & please feel free to use this class whenever you would like!
Hi, Allie! My hamstrings and lower back are pretty tight and it makes the wide-legged forward fold feel almost impossible. Even if I don't stretch my legs as wide as they'll go (probably around 90 degrees), I find that my lower back wants to round even before attempting to fold forward. If I hold it that way for a breath or two, it creates additional tension throughout my back and I start to lose the breath (and likely the benefit of the pose). What would be some adjustments to maintain the benefit of the pose while working towards a more open version? I ended up just reducing the angle of my legs until I could safely hold a flat lower back, but it didn't feel like much of a hamstring or hip opener at that point. Looking forward to tomorrow's hamstring flexibility class!
Thank you Allie for this wonderful flow!! totally loved it, you are amazing.i hv seen so many videos online but aftr watching you i am stuck to you only.gratitude to you for making awesome flows available.keep up the good job!!
Wow, thank you for that incredible feedback and support, means SO MUCH! I definitely recommend joining our online yoga community here too - www.thejourneyjunkie.com/join-the-journey
Ok it was great......but for two minutes in the middle of the session my legs hate you!!!!!But I feel so good now, as always when I'm on the mat. Thanx again for making me proud of myself. Namasté
That was the most amazing yoga practices that I have done in a long time that really was a challange. I have done your videos for awhile and I love all of them, but this one made me sooooooooo zen thank you
You're so welcome Aleisha! If you enjoyed this, then you should definitely join me for YBBC starting this Monday! It's a whole week of wonderful flows ❤️ www.thejourneyjunkie.com/yoga-body-bootcamp-challenge
Wow. Another incredible practice! I am so greatful and thankful to you for this channel. It's doing wonders to deepen my yoga practice. Will bookmark this and come back again!
You always know what I need. I started to do 108 sun salutations, made it through 30, and was not into it yet so I decided legs and you worked your magic and I feel fabulous! Will def go back and finish my sun sals another time. Ready to kick some ass with my kick ass, ass. Haha💋❤️
It was amazing! My feelings overwhelm me💓This moment when I had to kiss my knees first seemed strange. But I did…and I realized how much this kiss filled me with love for my body. OMG! A great discovery for me😲Thank you Allie for these emotions! This stretching pose of the diamond is magnificent. My neck says thank you too! 🙏🏼💙
I'm a yoga teacher. I have found I have virtually been ignoring hamstring strength. This wasn't graceful or pretty for me. BUT, I can tell I must do this practice as much as I can! Thank you - powerful!
I LOVE your videos you have inspired me! I like all the information you provide for each asana. Can you also tell us where do you shop for your leggings? The are absolutely beautiful! Thank you! Namaste 🙏🏼
Thanks for the feedback Tisha! If you check out the Yoga Body Bootcamp classes, there's two leg ones in that challenge, they're really great! You can also sign up for the whole challenge here - www.thejourneyjunkie.com/yoga-body-boot-camp-challenge/!
Looks great class and definitely going to try it tomorrow. However, couldn't understand if we are to tighten the glutes while in the low bridges at the beginning of class. You said the purpose is to wake them up but no mention wether to actively work them. Thank you for yet another wonderful and creative flow.
That's a great question - I don't squeeze them, I push down into my heels and feet to activate them that way. The longer you hang out, the more the exercise transfers from the front side body to the backside body. I hope that makes more sense!
OMG my butt!! Such a perfect class Allie, thank you. That warrior 3 to kundalini descent...yikes so good. I think I may have to make this a daily class. I have arthritis (from running) in my left hip and both knees and this class has nearly all the rehab exercises my phisio gave me to do. WONDERFUL!!
Hi. I just found your videos and I really enjoy them. Can I just say that you have amazing body :) I wanted to ask you if yoga is the only exercises you do? I am a beginner in yoga and working out in general (have been lazy for a while :D) and I deal with anxiety and it is quite hard for me to stick to workouts because I just lack motivation. That is why I fell in love in yoga so much, it helps to get rid of stress and I actually enjoy it and can stick to it. But the problem is that I want to shape my body: make my booty more round, get those abs and just become stronger but it's hard to do all those body sculpting exercises because I want to feel emotionally better after working out. Anyways, can you build muscles with yoga? Also, this might sound weird but can you get a booty like yours by just doing yoga or you do something else? :D I would really appreciate your answer. Thanks :)
Hey love, thanks for reaching out and doing some yoga with me! I have a very athletic build + shape from years of activities, so this wasn't just from yoga, but in recent years - I've gained a lot of strength + a toned body from only yoga. Here and there I dabble with HIIT routines, but generally speaking, I do yoga. You can definitely tone + strengthen your body with purely yoga, but this requires a 5x a week practice and over 60 minutes of flow time - and strong flow time. Enjoyed it so much! Never noticed you crack your fingers..lol had to do a quick rewind lol sun is shining here today so enjoyed doing my practice with the sun beaming in 🌞🤗⛵️💫I hope you guys are smooth sailing!,💙
Dear Allie, I like these exercises, but after them I have some back or neck pain. Not when I am doing them, but afterwards.. Am I doing something wrong? :/
Hi Kibi - I'm so sorry you're having this experience. Since I'm not able to see your body in the postures & am not a healthcare professional, I'm not able to give the best advise here. You may want to check in with your doctor or PT regarding the pain and allow yourself some rest. As a general rule during your practice, listen to your body's cues & if any postures cause discomfort, compression or impingement, come out of them. Hope that helps & you feel relief soon!

Thanks for the loveee Nikki! So glad you've found the channel ❤️
If you love the softness of yoga, try to incorporate other styles of movement too!

ha, totally same with you!!
Allie - The Journey Junkie Hi, thanks for this answer, how would you recommend to pair your workouts with HIIT (and for how long HIIT class then)?
I can’t do the half moon yet, nor can I balance with one leg in the toe stand, but I won’t give up! And it’s given me a good laugh 😂
There are some days I can't do either! I say, enjoy the journey and YES laugh ❤️ thank you for stepping on the mat with me Faye!
Enjoyed it so much! Never noticed you crack your fingers..lol had to do a quick rewind lol sun is shining here today so enjoyed doing my practice with the sun beaming in 🌞🤗⛵️💫I hope you guys are smooth sailing!,💙

Hi Daniela! Thank you for stepping on the mat & challenging your practice with me today. I hope to see you at my Fall Equinox Live Virtual Yoga Retreat! - bit.ly/fallequinoxvirtualretreat 🍁 xx
Beautiful practice, Allie! i really enjoyed kissing the knees 😊 They liked that 💗
Of course they liked that! Thanks for getting on the mat with me!
I did the hamstring stretch and then this one. OMG. So good. 💪🏻🙏💦
Love your videos, PLEASE stop whispering or talking quietly during the shivasana. I can't hear you and that really ruins the end of a good practice.
Thanks for the feedback, I've never heard that before, but do appreciate your thoughts. And thanks for practicing with me!
U go too slow when it comes to the tension and then u go too fast when it comes to stretching
Thanks for the feedback, I hope you find something here that better suits you 😊!
