I am 68 years old and I have a confession! I bought a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch because it always looks so good when “Awesome Abbie” eats hers. It is good and I will be buying another box! 🤣
these vlogs have made me realize that when i graduate high school in 2020, i want to go to college and get the necessary degrees so i can ultimately go to africa (God called me there since i was like 10 but i never knew why or what for) and i think im supposed to be a type of special needs teacher/therapist, etc. and i honestly believe God provided me with your vlogs to help me understand autism and have more compassion for special needs idk what else to say, okay bye thanks for your time
I couldn't find Priscilla's GRWM video from awhile back. If you know which one it is let me know! Special message at the end...also don't forget to smash that like button! ❤👍
My daughter Addie age 5 has non-verbal Autism got a diagnosis at at 18 months, we had no idea that that she couldn’t see well . When she was 4 yr we had to see an eye doctor for school. They used that device and when she received her glasses it was a game changer. I know that Fathering Autism includes your whole family, I think it’s awesome that you as a Dad help represent the other Autism Dad’s
Every time I hear Duvall now I hear Priscilla say "duuuvvvaaalll" lol and I have no idea what that even means, being in Australia and all. Lol!! But Every time hahahaha, love you guys
Priscilla's text alert gets me every single time! But the ending of this video gave me chills. So glad that you are willing and able to help other people now. It's people like you guys who remind that this world is filled with tons of freaking awesome humans.
Im from New Zealand and this is such a brilliant idea! I'm 22 and all my school life I was distracted and wasn't learning and they said I was just a lazy learner it wasn't until I got my eyes tested when I left school that they realised that I had 2 stigmatisms in my eyes which make me unable to comprehend what I read. This makes me so so happy! You guys are absolutely amazing, and the excitement in my day!
Just can’t get enough of you guys. Wish I could donate or buy more stuff, etc but I’m broke lol what you give me and teach me as a non-verbal autistic son’s mom, mom of a typical kiddo and wife can never be paid back. On some of my hardest days, I get home, get things settled and finally am able to go to bed and I sit and enjoy watching the crazy maas family lol 😂 I mostly love it because y’all are a lot like our family except our oldest is almost 12 and Patrick is a boy and only 9. My husband is silly and crazy but keeps us positive and is my true partner in life. He’s also a chef at a country club lol pots pans and jon? Hmm.... anyway. Even if we have never met, you guys are amazing.
I have followed you guys since around 27k followers and it amazes me every single day the love, support and advocacy you guys share. I've only commented once before, my daughter is blind and autistic and would love to find this kind of support and education here in Dallas, Texas! Your passion for advocacy is greatly needed all around. Truly a family we look up to. Finding your channel has been a blessing and we thank you all for sharing with us.
That is so awesome my niece had a horrible time with her vision when she was little used to make her act out so bad because she couldn’t say anything and she would get frustrated that would’ve helped her so much. I’m glad that the parents in Florida really do care about all the kids even if it’s slow moving
It is such a blessing to watch your family blossom and to know that you are now able to do exactly what God called you to do! Much love to your sweet family💕😘
So glad i came across your channel. My nephew has non verbal autism and is 5 years old. This channel has really opened my eyes to autism. Thank You for opening up your family for all of us to see. Also being in the EMS world i sometimes struggle to communicate with people with autism and sometimes i dont know how to approach them but watching you guys has given more confidence on how to approach people with autism. Thank You
I love you guys!! I am so happy you are able to UA-cam full time so you can spread more awareness and be the amazing family you are!! I love Abbie's bedtime stim and how cuddly she was at the end of the vlog. AND I loved the dress Abbie was wearing in the Monday footage! Priscilla I'm guessing you bought that - if there's an online job where you shop for other people I bet you would rock that too!! Stylish Mama! Anyhow I love you guys, thanks for another wonderful vlog!!
U are changing so many communities the school district here in Wisconsin just talked about some of your ideas for way back when you started UA-cam THATS AMAZING thank you just know u are changing so many peoples lives around this country and probably around the world ❤️💙💚💛💜👍👍😁😁
Omg! When you asked Abbie if she wanted a treat my dog jumped up and looked directly at my phone! He really wanted a treat too! Unfortunately for him, we ran out of treats a few days ago. We’ll have to pick some up when we go grocery shopping.
I loved the moment at the end when you were all on the couch looking at the camera (I know how hard it can be to get photos like that)! It would make such a cute photo!
Not sure how many Thank you cards you need to write, but you could create a stamp for the back of the cards - vista print or somewhere else online. Love your videos. 💜
Asa I totally agree with taking a step back on grill master and have someone else do it, so many people will not help granted some cannot however on the most part they can.. My kids are grown now but when in sports my family was always doing everything and finally when high school kicked in both my kids I could sit and watch them..Daughter cheer and Son Football same time and I said no I want to watch my kids this time.. Good for you!!!!!! Cheers
Priscilla, how do you get your curls to stay in? I curl mine and 14 mins later, it's flat again. I want you to know that your vlogs have helped me to help my Autistic Grandson. Thank you for talking about the tough things! Nice couch repairing skills Asa and Isaiah!
I am a new subscriber (I subbed a while ago, but never really caught on to the channel). I've started watching the videos faithfully and let me tell you, your family is lovely. You are all such kind, generous, loving people and I am proud of what you are doing for your daughter, your community and for Autism awareness overall. I do not have a link to Autism, I just learned about your channel through a "Recommended For You" link on YT a while ago. I am grateful that YT did that and that I clicked on it and have since become a daily viewer. Keep doing the work and spreading the word. You are amazing folks and your family, friends and community are very proud of you. xo Heather🇨🇦
I love your family so much you all bring so much to the table.. I learned so much from all of you.. god bless have a great day and night love your utube friend Helen
Thanks to you and your family for doing all you do to spread awareness and helping us in all the ways you do! It's so uplifting and really helps to motivate us to work on ways to do the same. My family and I appreciate you all. I also wanted to say I love how Abigail is so affectionate with you all and her love for music!
“We’re consumers” Me too😂 Love you guys!!! Sounds terrible about P’s ankle, also loved her waving at her friend in carpool line, what an involved mom! You guys are so inventive with your diy couch fix! Also, I remember you all mentioning a podcasts a couple videos back?! So many people commented on loving the idea! (including me!) Are you all thinking of maybe doing it?
I just found your channel and have been binge watching all your videos. Such a happy and loving family! I can’t get enough of your family 😍😀 So glad I found your videos. I look forward to any new upload.
Ok so before I watched this I had the same question about knowing if kids with nonverbal can see or not!! I think that that is so cool that you funded for the equipment soo many people need! I love you guys!
Yes! Although I now home-school my son, ( he has ADHD, and anxiety with OCD) when he was in public school had his eyes checked and "failed" so I took him to the eye doctor, it turned out that one of his eyes was so different than the other that the doctor knew right off my son was not reading well, his one eye was so bad his brain got 2 different signals, as soon as he got his glasses, he could write straight and his reading improved drastically! That vision test machine is awesome!
I love this vlog ! I think I say that about all of them 😂🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I loved the flashback to two years ago when you asked Abbie if it was an accident. Her grin was priceless when she shook her head "no"! Haha!!!! And seeing Isaiah and her running around playing like brother and sister but he is so sweet and good to her he has such a great heart. What an awesome good kid ! Also loved abbs dance moves !!! Get it girlfriend 😘😘😘😘 can't wait for the next video !!!!!! I also have a question about my best friends Baby who is 2 and has autism and went for screening today and I went along and they said they would have all the answers today and it's really frustrating because now they say they need to do another one ?!?! For another diagnosis ??? Is this just them trying to make money since they weren't the first ones to diagnose her with autism??? Sorry if that was a confusing question Much love ❤️
I love your channel. With a newly diagnosed 5 year old son who has ASD, SPD and PDA we have a challenging life to say the least. His twin sister is NT but its a hard balance in making sure each child has enough attention, and making special time for each child too can be a juggling act. We are due to start back to school next week and the meltdowns, anxiety, stress and stimming are at an all time high. I love how you all stay calm, supportive and find humour in your day, its so important isn't it. Anyway hi to all and have a great day, me and my boy are just watching your latest vlog and he is doing his happy stimming so im guessing he loves it lol
I really enjoy watching you guys. I have an ASD adult child and I was his voice, I was his advocate because, “he’s “only” an aspie and can function normally...” as I was told by the superintendent of his school district. I almost got in the super’s face because of his attitude My son is extremely literal and thus does not deviate from a set “list” in his normal world. Well, each day may seem “the same” to a regular kid it does deviate in what in many students mind’s is minuscule but in my child and others it is a huge deviation from their routines. Well, I ended up chairing a committee to help kids like my son who were just lumped in with the “behavioral problem” kids. I located a special education teacher who was working on her master’s thesis on the autism spectrum (she now has her PhD in education with her focus being on the autism spectrum). The school did not want to hire her but after I rallied the parents of the kids who were on the spectrum but considered high functioning but failing classes together the school board hired her on a one year contract. She worked with ASD kids in the district from my son’s 7th grade year up until his senior year. Being proactive, educating others, showing your family’s day-to-day lives doesn’t sugar coat the diagnosis... it shows the real life workings to help your child and by example others’ can find strength and hopefully learn how to cope. Not each day is UA-cam worthy but many situations ARE! Thank you Asa, Pricilla, Isaiah and most of all thank you Abby!
Just came across your channel Friday and i have not stopped watching.... youre an amazing family 😍😍😍 i have a few people in my family with autism and im learning so much. Keep up the good work i have your family in prayer and you definitely have a new subscriber 😊
Take care of yourselves. Ice and keep the ankle elevated, it will heal faster. I used to not listen, but in the last 10 years I’ve broken each foot and in February broke my right wrist. It sucked, especially the wrist. I listened to the nurse practitioner as to what to do do, but I also pushed myself. Slowdown....
“I can buy some makeup from you, mom”. That was so sweet. I love love love Abbie’s hair, but I wish it was possible for her to have hair as long as it was in the throwback video, (if she wanted it to be that long). But then, if that was possible we may not even be here at all. So I take that back. I loved seeing Abbie with long hair, but I love seeing Abbie everyday no matter the length of her hair. 😘😘😘😘
Wow you look exactly like my brother-in-law!! I took a screenshot and sent it to my mom, my sister and a few other people and they all asked where I got a picture of RP ( bro-in-law) and I explained that it wasn't him and they all were losing their minds....lol!! Crazy!!! you know how they say everybody has a twin in the world or doppelganger...lol so if you ever want to meet ypurs I know where he's at....lol wow this is so wild to me!! You look and even sound just like him...lol it's so strange....lol ok well that is all!😊 I'm now subscribed so I will be back to watch more videos you guys seem really cool and fun and your family is beautiful!!!!
i hate mondays, but good to see abbie likes hers! XD weird question, but does abbie have 'friends' at school? like classmates she particularly gravitates towards, or seems to enjoy spending time with? walking on the shifting sand probably didn't help priscilla's ankle. i love beach vacations, but my left knee usually hurts after a day of walking on the sand. i don't normally have issues with it, but something about the moving ground makes it act up. i am in love with the school nurses (?) shirts. that eye scanner tool thing seems awesome! it's so hard to tell sometimes, with non-verbal people, where issues may come from, because they can't tell you 'i can't see that', 'i can't properly hear you', etc. (in isaiah's defense, i don't think asking if another tool may not be a better option isn't being 'that guy', it's a good question, actually, for the other students as well (i learned a lot more about audio editing from my teacher talking to a more experienced student than from pure instructions). now telling the teacher 'actually, you gotta use that', that would make him that guy, but i doubt he did that, he seems very respectful of other people.)
So my kids are 9 and 3 and they also tear at the material on the couch. We call it the dungeon and when we lose something that's the first place we look. So Abbie isn't the only one who does that. Lol!
I wish my family lived near y'all..my son has his first IEP of the year n for some reason im nervous. The vlogs you put up and the information you give is very helpful. I wish it was like that here in Laguna, NM. Ima keep fighting for my son to get the help he needs..
Hi I'm a 13 year old boy thats autistic and in July i went to camp royal for one week and it was amazing and I think it's cool to see some one else that s exactly like me and I'm trying to find more about me so I can help my mom and my second mom i want them to stay together in a more volcal person I was lucky and I hope we can help each other and make friends my mom doesn't no much about me and I think you all are amazing
Alright, real talk (even though you guys will never see this comment): I have been binging your videos and love them. But for real, the way Cilla was kissing Ab's head at the end legit made me tear up. SUBBED!!!!
I am 68 years old and I have a confession! I bought a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch because it always looks so good when “Awesome Abbie” eats hers. It is good and I will be buying another box! 🤣
Believe it or not I just finished a box and thought of Abbie.😊
One of my favorite cereals too. I think of Abbie every time I have it.
Aww bless you
Me, too! Just this week!
Me too. It's about $16 a box in New Zealand though so I've only bought it once it was a treat for my kids to try 🙂
these vlogs have made me realize that when i graduate high school in 2020, i want to go to college and get the necessary degrees so i can ultimately go to africa (God called me there since i was like 10 but i never knew why or what for) and i think im supposed to be a type of special needs teacher/therapist, etc. and i honestly believe God provided me with your vlogs to help me understand autism and have more compassion for special needs
idk what else to say, okay bye thanks for your time
Jess Hubler. That's awesome.
Go for it. My daughter is speech therapist for special needs . Loves all her kids!
ur very welcome to Africa.. pray that ua calling will be fulfilled when the time comes. I am un Africa-Kenya.

@@TheAuntiePanda I know right? I hit like and then watch because I'm never disappointed!
Is it this one ua-cam.com/video/9kEnlBBtjpQ/v-deo.html
Mindy Van Horn exactly! I wish it was a 'Thumb's Up' and a 'Heart'! There is no need for a 'Thumb's down' on this channel! !!
VLOG 10 season 2 Asa.

Isaiah, I'm TOTALLY ALWAYS "that guy" too! 👍Thumbs up "that guy"!
It's all for Abbie! We love you all and support you through it all. I feel like we are all one family and it helps support us all.
i love that she listens to usher in the morning 😭😭😂💗
I am thankful for all YOU do for the Autism Community. It works both ways.

I wish we had support like your lovely family to help with my 3yr old grandson. Its awful being lost in trying to communicate with him.
Abbie has more energy on a Monday than I have for a whole week.
Marianne Black I can totally relate. I have to drink coffee every day to function.
That is so awesome my niece had a horrible time with her vision when she was little used to make her act out so bad because she couldn’t say anything and she would get frustrated that would’ve helped her so much. Priscilla, your hair looks beautiful. And you looks so pretty in that pink top!!!🤗
You’re all amazing and the things you give back to the community is inspiring.

Watching Isaiah dance in the background made me giggle. Your family is so great, and you are blessing so many other families now. It's great!

I work for early head start

I loved the moment at the end when you were all on the couch looking at the camera (I know how hard it can be to get photos like that)! It would make such a cute photo!
Abbie running around to Usher is a complete mood.
I wish there were a million more kids like Isaiah. It's amazing to see how great he is with his sister. Hats off to you Maass family.
My boy does that same dance! They're like human metronomes! 😂💖💙
Good idea on the couch. Moving up from chair person to king of the sofa. 😉
Wow, Abbie with the long hair 2 years ago is so beautiful 😭 I love it so much but the short hair she has now has grown on me :)
Way to go on the couch repair! Always enjoy watching your vlogs😊
I went to my yearbook workshop today! My mom is my advisor so it was super fun trip and workshop! 😀
We need an “Abby’s favorite music” playlist!!
Wow! What an amazing job on the couch Asa! Good job!
So worth it! Love what you do!

Abbie is an angel!
Abbie always makes me happy... I especially love when she does her arm flailing stim she's very careful to not hit other people. She so considerate.

Oh man, the smallest things you do crack me up 😂 I was watching and then the Spongebob “later” popped up. Don’t ask me why I laughed so hard! 🤣
Is she doing better in the car since you gave her blankets?
What’s she wearing on her ankle?
It’s like a med alert bracelet with tracker
Its not a tracker or med alert. It’s the band from SFA. The color tells her when it’s her turn to surf.
Amanda C isn’t it the name tag they use in case she runs?
@@Surdeigt That she wears on her wrist.
Excited for the podcast!
You guys are always so busy! I don’t know how you do it, from one thing to the next to the next. Unbelievable!
I love you guys! So glad to be a patron and to support your family
Those of you giving thumbs down. Please stop
This family is need offending anyone
i hate mondays, but good to see abbie likes hers!
Lol!
Little Abbie with long hair is so cute!
Loved Abbie’s Monday Morning Dance Party 😂😂
