I love that you make it a point to do mail time videos, and always show your gratitude and appreciation. I’m sure it sometimes seems overwhelming but you guys truly exude gratitude and enjoy life no matter what hurtles and hoops you may have to jump through at times. You just push on. Abbey may be the star and the point of the vlogs but to me they are so much more than just autism awareness there about caring and sticking together as a family. Each vlog makes you feel like you guys are talking straight to us as other humans not just people who watch UA-cam. If that makes sense. Your respect kindness and endurance to help people families understand what life is like and can be like even when there are tough obstacles in your way. (I totally wrote this after I took pain meds and sleep medication so I will need to come back tomorrow and make sure I didn’t just make a fool out of myself. Also thank you for yesterday’s video. Looks like I may have started something. Thank you for enjoying the camera’s like I said I don’t know much about them I never found the time to research them but it was the sentimental part of the camera’s that made me know they belonged in your family and not in one of my family members basements or some trash heap. Your videos give me hope for brighter happy days and remind me how much I took for granted until it was taken away this was one aspect of I’m not sure I guess closure to know they will live on in a happy home. I’m not sure if I was clear on what the tarp was. It’s just a surgical tarp (Mary ann used to work in an OR) so out of date sterile tarps were up for the pickings they make great table covers for crafts I wish I had had a box big enough to send crazy nanny a couple of the plastic trays we have they fit paper perfect also help contain things maybe if I get a chance I will send her some. No promises. Thank you again for being such an inspiration for autism and for just plain real life. Kerri

TWO THINGS! First, lately I have really noticed Abby doing her bed time stim (the one with her hands) & I truly think it’s the cutest thing ever!! Secondly, I just die every time you guys do mail time because without fail there is always a bag or carton of treats that Abby keeps her eyes on THE WHOLE TIME!! It cracks me up!! She always glances over every couple seconds to make sure it’s still in eye sight!! LOL so this particular mail time vid was the best!! I get Abby doing my favorite stim of hers throughout the whole video all while never taking her eyes off the yummy German chocolate cookies!! So so good!! It’s the small things in life that bring me joy & this right here hits the spot!! LOVE IT
I worked on adding correct subtitles but I only got to 2 minutes and 3 seconds. I am pretty active in the Deaf community and I think it is awesome you are teaching Abbey a modified form of ASL! This was the first time I ever saw a suggestion in the video to help add correct captioning. I think that is so cool! Many of my Deaf friends call UA-cam captions, Craptions. I will probably come back to work on it more. I NEVER knew how difficult it was to add subtitles, however, I think it is very important so the video is accessible to everyone! I watch all of your videos and I am also on the Autism spectrum. I love your channel and think it is great for spreading awareness about Autism!

I just subscribed recently. I love your videos! I'm getting tested for autism soon and even though I'm verbal I can still connect to Abby in a way, even if it turns out I'm not autistic (Which I'm pretty sure I am.) I do the aggressive rocking and stimming too, and I love cookies! Lol
Yeah but it actually takes much more than what comes with it to completely dissolve it. We had to use another entire container of salt and then I just crossed my fingers and hoped it was enough!! 😂
I tried that stuff for my son years ago & OMG what a nightmare! I was NOT prepared for the aftermath at all! I ended up having to scoop a ton of it out into plastic bags & right to the trash 🤦♀️

I have been thinking about starting a UA-cam channel and I just wanted to know what camera would be good for a beginner for sit down videos and also vlogs but also for a smaller budget😊if you could help that would be great 😊
What did you use to teach Abbie sign language? I have a 4.5 yr old who is autistic who isn’t completely nonverbal but says very few words and a 2 yr old who isn’t diagnosed yet but is completely non verbal right now. I’m trying to find things and ways to help them communicate and work on the behavior of my 4.5 yr old, he also isn’t potty trained yet and is growing out of pull ups but too small for “adult” diapers.
Hi I was wondering can you tell me what episode you explain what's in Abby's sleeves of her jacket does it have anything to do with biting herself I have a small cousin with autism she's verbal but she tends to bite herself a lot and if the jacket has nothing to do with that what do you guys do for Abby thanks

Be careful of that jelly bath! If it’s the stuff we got it can really clog your drain and it’s hard to get rid of! My daughter loved it though!!
It comes with a powder (which is just regular table salt if you lose it) to dissolve the jelly back to a liquid before draining the bath.
