RIP Marie. This is my favorite song by Roxette. Marie’s voice is powerful and clear. A beautiful melody with strong backing from the guitars and keyboards. Thanks for this post.
I miss when they played these type of songs on the radio..."Must've been Love" by Roxette was my favorite. Getting Older Sucks! Her death shocked me, she was a beautiful woman and her voice was Awesome...Love Ya Guy's!!! God Bless You!!
She was sick for a long time with that brain tumor. Lived long enough for her children to at least have some personal memories of her. Very sad & such a beautiful voice.
I'm an old guy. I always enjoy young people discovering music from my era. And these two kids are my absolute favorites in terms of watching their reactions. They are both so real, genuine, and wholesome. Kinda makes me feel there's hope for us yet!
Concerning ''Almost Unreal'', since she's singing the words ''Hocus Pocus'' in the chorus, i always prefer to name it that (''Hocus Pocus''). ''I love when you that hocus pocus to me...''
RIP Marie! You were a beautiful soul and amazing talent. This is off the JOYRIDE album, their second release after LOOK SHARP. They showed the world they had the talent to keep it going. Love this band and their music.

Man, I haven’t heard this song in years and years. I forgot how much I loved Roxette back in junior high. “Joyride” was my favorite, which I know you’ve already done, but I liked everything I heard from them.
This song was HUGE all over the world. It was in the charts here in South Africa for almost a year. It reached #2 in USA back then. Marie Fredriksson's voice can strip paint off the walls, and at the same time seduce a kitten. She just had it all. Marie looking super sexy in this video, that was actually shot in Stockholm. Fantastic song!!!
Marie and Dolores were two massively talented singers in rock. I miss both of them. I saw Roxette on their one US tour when I was a teenager, wish so much that they’d maintained some popularity in the Us so I could have seen them again. This has always been a favorite song for me.
So glad you guys got to this song, it's probably my favorite from Roxette. The video is epic! Especially the shots of my man up in the Stockholm City Hall tearing up that guitar.

The most criminally underrated band of all time. Every song they recorded was a banger. Were talking 200 + songs. They didnt have any bad ones. Great to hear you've discovered this great band. And yep, check out all their songs not just the "hits". A great catalogue 👍 Plus checkout each of their other projects, you'll enjoy them 😊
