Amber and Jay, remember something, the 80's were not all the same type of sounds in music. There are at least three sub sets, early, mid, and late but even then there are variations. Seemingly most younger people link late 80's pop sound to all the 80's. Congrats on new baby Luka.
Amber, if you’ve seen the movie, “Pretty Woman”, then you’ve heard Roxette. “It Must’ve Been Love” is playing when she leaves in the limo. Her voice is amazing in that song.
Hey Rob Squad.... I am really glad you tuned into some Roxette music . They have some great songs that hit the charts I hope you give "Listen to Your Heart" and "It Must Have Been Love" a reaction.... back in the day Roxette's music got a lot of air play from a few radio stations. Thank you so much for this reaction and I am happy that you enjoyed their music .
Per Gessle on guitar , Marie Fredriksson they had a bucket load of hits in the 80s , This was their big global breakthrough hit , but probably the one where Marie wasn't in complete control of the vocals ..... Fading like a Flower , Crash Boom Bang , Listen to your Heart , It must have been love ...All big hits and used in movies too .. A really great band to get into .. Sadly Marie battled and finally succumbed to a brain tumour in 2019 aged 61 , but she sure left an awesome legacy of great songs .. Enjoy
She is primary lead vocals in most of their songs. "Wish I Could Fly", "Stars", "Dressed For Success", "Listen To Your Heart", "Dangerous", "It Must Have Been Love", "Joyride", "Fading Like A Flower", "Spending My Time", "Dance Away", "Chances", "(I Could Never) Give You Up", and my personal favorite "Paint". They and ABBA pretty much owned a good piece of the music industry during their heydays.

I remember back in 1989, when this song was played for the first time on a USA radio station, the station immediately got flooded with phone calls asking who sang that song and to play it again, etc. the public reaction was immediate. Practically nobody knew the band in the USA, but people recognized it's greatness immediately.
Good song. It was one of my sisters favorites. Other good 80s songs I thought of that you should do are The Cure- Just like Heaven or Love Song. Don Henley (from the Eagles)- Boys of Summer, All she wants to do is Dance or Dirty Laundry. Pet Shop Boys- West End Girls or What have I done to Deserve This. J. Giles Band- Centerfold. Fine Young Canibals- She Drives me Crazy (falsetto). Billy Idol- Mony, Mony. Madonna- Like a Prayer. Falco- Rock me, Amedeus. Anyone have any thoughts about J and Amber doing any of these songs?
Thanks for reacting to this fun hit from circa 1988. Their other songs are: It Must Have Been Love (1990 Pretty Woman Soundtrack), Listen To Your Heart, Joyride, Dangerous, Arisa, Fading Like A Flower, Spending My Time, How Do You Do, and Dressed For Success.
I just want to thank you both for some great content. I really do not post comments, but i really wanted to say thank you. You both have such great energy and a really happy vibe about you and it makes my day when I get a chance to watch a few minutes with you both. Since I am posting a comment, I will just offer a couple of suggestions for singers you may want to check out. First, since you are a big Bee Gees fan, maybe try a song by Andy Gibb, and a suggestion for female Friday, would be the great Shirley Bassey. Cant really go wrong with anything from Shirley Bassey, but "where do I begin" from 1973 is a wonderful performance. Thank you for your time, have a great day.
"LISTEN TO YOUR HEART" is another GREAT song that she sings too!

You guys should listen to just a girl by No Doubt for female Friday
My eldest son was a punk into metal and heavy rock, back in the day, but he LOVED Roxette
Someone I haven’t seen for female Friday is Lisa Stansfield. Been Around the World was her breakout. Love you guys!
They are awesome. Marie Fredriksson was a true treasure and does sing lead on many tracks.
For some real rocking Marie Fredricksson, try out "Hotblooded" from the CD Joyride
If we’re going 80’s I would love to hear OMD Enola Gay
All good suggestions. I'll add Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
@@colinstevens2691 I just posted some 80s stuff since this is a 80s song, but I know they do a variety of stuff.
He sings the main vocals on the look, joyride, how do you do etc. fantastic band who were immensely popular in the early 90’s!
“It must of been love” is a roxette song featuring her much more
Are you sure it wasn't *It Must've Been Love* or *It Must Have Been Love*?
"Must of* LOL
@@darrinlindsey who gives a sh*t
Thanks for reacting to this fun hit from circa 1988. Their other songs are: It Must Have Been Love (1990 Pretty Woman Soundtrack), Listen To Your Heart, Joyride, Dangerous, Arisa, Fading Like A Flower, Spending My Time, How Do You Do, and Dressed For Success.
Speaking of Pat Benatar try Hit Me With Your best Shot. It is definetly a banger
Must've been love would have been a great choice for this group for female friday
In most of their songs Marie sang lead like in Fading Like A Flower or Listen To Your Heart or even in It Must Have Been Love.
