I’ve been following Celine since 1993 and I’ve seen her twice in London. Her voice is so powerful and her concerts are unbelievable. Unfortunately she’s been very ill, the next time she’ll be in London is now 2024, tickets already purchased. She’s one of the all time greats !
I second 'Tell Him' with Barbra Streisand...I would say Celine and Barbra have the best female power voices ever...and they both have such amazing control.
Celine is definitely the best female singer ever ❤️❤️❤️ You must listen to " All by Myself " I saw her live in the uk and you could of heard a pin drop !! I think the whole arena was stunned ❤️❤️❤️
Celine Dion is amazing. When I first discovered her, all her albums were in French. She didn't speak English yet. I would buy her CDs at a music shop in Toronto every chance I got. I think it's been said she has perfect pitch. I wouldn't be surprised if that's true. Her voice has only gotten better as she's grown into herself. Once she learned English and started releasing albums in English, her career really took off. If you ever get a chance to listen to any of her songs in French, I highly recommend it. They are amazing to listen to even if you don't understand the language. She's just that good. My favorite is Et Je T'Aime Encore. Another great song in French is Je Danse dans Ma Tête. Her most famous French song is probably Pour que Tu M'aimes Encore. As for English songs, there are so, so many! I would agree with those who suggested It's All Coming Back To Me Now, The Prayer, and Tell Him. All great songs. Other songs to start with might include the following: I Drove All Night River Deep, Mountain High Because You Loved Me Where Does My Heart Beat Now That's The Way It Is Just Walk Away All By Myself
I love that you guys continue to discover absolute legends like Celine Dion. This woman has sold over 200 million records. I was an instant fan when she released her first English language album in 1990. I *literally* waited *decades* to see this diva live, but I finally got my long awaited wish when I saw her in Las Vegas in 2018. The ticket was several hundred dollars, but that was fine by me. It was worth every, single penny. I would pay double what I did in 2018 to see her again in her new upcoming Vegas shows. She is *that* good.
Blow your mind with Celine featuring The Bee Gees - “Immortality” - there is a video of her singing in studio bringing Barry to tears. They wrote it for her. ❤️
3000 x YES!!! And you should react to the actual video bc those two have great chemistry and you might miss it without visuals. Any duet with Barbra, and any duet with Celine, is worth a listen no matter who they sing with. But together? It is almost an overwhelming greatness in the room. I tend to tear up when i hear anything that beautiful.
I love both versions of this song. Celine's and the original. They're different, but still emotional in their own way. Celine's has the power behind it. Jennifer Rush's version has a vulnerability behind it that I love.
Her voices is powerful and pure. If you ever get the opportunity to see Celine Dion live in concert you should do it. She is a phenomenal live performer and will bring the house down
One of the hardest belts is In her song “ all by myself “ the writer david foster surprised her and raised it 2 steps and then said “ if you can’t sing it we will find someone else who can. “ so she took it and ran. Killed it. You have to listen !!! All by myself.
This is my first time watching a video of y'all's, and I must admit watching the gorgeous mother sway in a trance-like state while listening to Celine Dion's voice was so sweet I love all the positive vibes y'all are putting out into the world keep up the good work!!!

Another Canadian power house singer, whatever she sings it always has something in it no matter if she sings in English or French. Plus she has a great sense of humour about life and herself. She can do it all, her duets with others are always outstanding. Good choice. 🍺😎☀️🇨🇦
Celine and Barbra Streisand recorded a stunning duet called "Tell Him". It's like two shooting stars singing together. Highly recommend for Female Friday or any day!
This is one of her greatest vocals. Interesting fact: it's a cover/remake. 👇 "The Power of Love" is a song co-written and originally recorded by American singer Jennifer Rush in 1984. It has since been covered by Air Supply, Laura Branigan and Celine Dion.
Celine Dion has an amazing instrument. This is actually a cover, Jennifer Rush penned and sung this song in 1984. Another cover she does "If You Ask Me To", Patti Labelle did originally.
I turn 44 this year, and I clearly & fondly remember being in 7th grade in 1992, and my new 13 yr old girlfriend & I chose this as ‘our song!’ Back then it was extremely important in our young minds to be an established couple at school with your own song😂🤣. As if we understood any of the mature meaning behind the lyrics or the power of the tune. But after not hearing it for almost 30 yrs, I’m absolutely blown away by this song & the talent involved with the writing, production & performance. Also I find myself in sudden total nostalgia remembering that young lady who stole my first real kiss listening to it🥂😘 Ahhh life….what are you gonna do about living??
Her song with the Bee Gees - Immortality is perfection. Brings me to tears everytime. When she did her concert after that album came out she sang with them but they were prerecorded on the jumbo tron. We listened to her sound check and she is awesome in concert. I've seen her twice and would happily go again. Show Must go On is another great one it was done by Queen. She sang it after her husband passed.
She is AMAZING! She has been singing professionally since she was 14 in Quebec, she thought herself English so she could sing in the U.S. and started singing here at 16 or 17. Her talent is just beyond words. Her song "I Drove All Night" was Recorded when she was sick with the flu and she still sang the hell out of it. My favorites are "I'm Alive", "Falling Into You", and "Beauty and the Beast"
Canada's songbird. Little waif of a lady with a set of lungs that still amaze. Lots of suggestions for you but really you should try All By Myself which was one of her world class hits.
Celine is just one of those amazing singers that when you hear them you know who it is! The only other singer I know that shows this type of range is Mariah Carey and if you havent reacted to her before you are definitely in for a treat but yes do more Celine Dion she not only sings like an angel but is beautiful as well!!
Can you imagine being in the production studio when she cut these vocals? I bet they were blown away just like you guys. Oh to be a fly on the wall when she did that song.
One of the best voices in human history. She can sing a song and make you FEEL it. All with pure vocals and style. And she is a nice person too, I hear. Thanks for reaction. More please.
Her rendition of "O Holy Night" is one of my all time favorites. I tear up and get goosebumps every time I listen to it. She indeed has the voice of an angel and no doubt a wonderful gift from God.

@@AZambri1 I guess sometimes it can be a case of which version you heard first. There's a few Beatles songs I like as covers better than the originals. Elton John and Earth, Wind & Fire immediately come to mind.
Celine was considered at the time she emerged as “. The new Streisand”. You’ve only done one Streisand song too. Please do Evergreen by her. Bette Midler’s The Rose is exquisite. , Another vocalist in the same league is Lara Fabian. A voice like Celine’s but who was kept out of the US market by Celine’s dominance and so she went and became a star in Europe. Her voice is breathtaking. If you are willing to listen to songs in French (well, you did Spanish for Linda after all) please listen to Je Suis Malade. Chills.
Well that’s a lie Celine hasn’t done anything to Lara Fabian career Lara herself would tell that it was because it was too much for her back then the American market and also fell in in a depression because she separated with her boyfriend that is the real truth about that moment in time

This was a huge hit for Jennifer Rush in 1984. In the same year, there were 2 other, different "Power of Love" hits, one by Huey Lewis and the News and the third by Frankie Goes to Hollywood
It was a huge hit for Jennifer from 84 till the end of 86 in a lot of countries. In my country was the song that came in 2nd for the largest number of consecutive nº1's in the Top20 in 86, it was like 18 consecutive weeks or so, only beaten by Elton John's "Nikita"
Yes. People seem to mostly be suggesting songs from when she'd already "made it". But her early English albums have some of my favourites and Water From the Moon one of them.

If you liked the song, you really need to listen to Laura Brannigan’s interpretation of this song. She pours her very soul into it and has some grit and power that the Celine song lacks. Both great in different ways.
They both sing it with grit and soul and passion… They both have raspiness in their voice, and they’re both singing it to men that they love… You don’t have to knock down one to promote the other one that you feel is overlooked.

Agree. That one is off the hook good!
Yesssss!!!!!
100%
1000% yes!
Enya wrote some seriously soul piercing music back in the 90's. Her music will take you to the gates of heaven.
I love hearing her sing "The Prayer" with Andrea Botticelli
Yes!!
This is a great suggestion!
Such a beautiful song
I’ve been following Celine since 1993 and I’ve seen her twice in London. Her voice is so powerful and her concerts are unbelievable. Unfortunately she’s been very ill, the next time she’ll be in London is now 2024, tickets already purchased. She’s one of the all time greats !
I second 'Tell Him' with Barbra Streisand...I would say Celine and Barbra have the best female power voices ever...and they both have such amazing control.
Omg yes THIS
Yrs but you must add Whitney!
I swear this woman could sing out the ingredients from the back of a cereal box and make it sound amazing! Her voice is just epic!!
Of course she can.
😂👍
This is hilarious! lol
Celine is definitely the best female singer ever ❤️❤️❤️ You must listen to " All by Myself " I saw her live in the uk and you could of heard a pin drop !! I think the whole arena was stunned ❤️❤️❤️
I Love Celine to but I have to go with Whitney
Top 5
Beautiful voice & one of the best. Amy Lee is the absolute best imo.
Other songs to start with might include the following:
I Drove All Night
River Deep, Mountain High
Because You Loved Me
Where Does My Heart Beat Now
That's The Way It Is
Just Walk Away
All By Myself
The French aspect is so crucial -- everyone listen up to this writer!
Celine and Barbra Streisand duet "Tell him" is a killer song. Goosebumps....
Yes! I’ve requested this a couple of times. Hopefully now that they’ve listened to both artist they’ll react to a duet by them.
Ye,Tell him is a amazing song
Yes!
Yes please!
I love both versions of this song. Celine's and the original. They're different, but still emotional in their own way. Celine's has the power behind it. Jennifer Rush's version has a vulnerability behind it that I love.
I was waiting on that chorus to drop, and y'all faces said it all!! 😂 There is NO other that can sing like Celine!! 🙌😍🔥🥰
Songwriter is Jennifer Rush, She sing in 1985. She is the best.
What about Barbara Streisand?
" It's all coming back to me " is a beautiful powerful song if hers!
Stunningly beautiful voice. She is amazing.
Her voices is powerful and pure. If you ever get the opportunity to see Celine Dion live in concert you should do it. She is a phenomenal live performer and will bring the house down
I saw her over 20 years ago. She is the best!
We saw her about 15 years ago.... Sat 4 rows from the front. She was phenomenal!!
The song I Surrender is an absolute must! - preferably a live version (maybe from her Vegas show?) The beauty and power of that one gives me chills every single time I listen to it.
Yes, times a million! And here is a link for it. I hope they do this one. The power of her voice in this is unmatched by anyone. ua-cam.com/video/3PFgbLnUcZE/v-deo.html
"It's All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine was written by the same guy that wrote most of Meatloaf's hits, Jim Steineman. It's a powerful song
Yes. Powerhouse voice. Have you heard her do All by myself? If not, you are missing out. She hits a power note that will sit you right up on your chair.
That key change on that song will melt ice!
Dimash Kudaiberganov blows her out of the water on his version from I am singer show from 2017.
@@softshallow7435 I've been trying to get Jay and Amber to try out Dimash. Maybe you can assist me by recommending SOS for them, too.
@@garyblackburn849 I kick in a vote.
Celine Dion first English song was, Where does my heart beat now. Take a listen to it
She was 24-25 when this song came out and yet her voice sounded that mature. It's crazy to think she started singing professionally at age 12!
And didnt know how to speak english too then right
@@ICEBURGTICKETscratcher You know she sang in French when she toured in Quebec, right? First english album 1990 when she was 22.
The original by Jennifer Rush from 1984 is just as good though
I have to say the original singer is Jennifer Rush (1985). I like Celine Dion version but Jennifer Rush has awesome voice, I love her songs
Agree ... Jennifer's 1985 version is amazing too.
For me the best version of this song is from Luara Branigan she has a very powerful voice .Luara sang it in 1987 .
Omg yes that song is amazing !!.
Absolutely! They sound FABULOUS together!
Or definitely check out Matt Boyd and Brian crum’s cover. It’s beautiful
@@godimlarge Will do! I love both of those guys.
No autotune required!
We love her here in Canada.
🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
I think what makes Celine so good is that even when she goes big, you can tell there is MORE.
This is one of her greatest vocals.
Interesting fact: it's a cover/remake.
👇
"The Power of Love" is a song co-written and originally recorded by American singer Jennifer Rush in 1984. It has since been covered by Air Supply, Laura Branigan and Celine Dion.
The other Canadian female superstar is Anne Murray. You should check her out. She was a giant in the 60’s-90’s.
Good point. I’ve been meaning to mention her too.
Love me some Anne Murray. Something about that sweet gentle voice that just slays me!
Yes! Anne Murray.
I came here to say Anne Murray, too! So many great songs. Snowbird is a classic.
@@kennbicknell5492 First song of hers that I heard. I was instantly hooked!
Great song. She also did one with the Bee Gees called Immortality. Also a great song. Have a great night.
She’s been singing since she was a young teen, and her experience shows in her voice.
I b see live her husband became her manager at age 12.
I think this song more than any other Ce'line Dion song is her best. She melted my heart with this song. So glad you liked it!
I have seen her live. There are no words. Her voice is an instrument in the most technical sense of the word.
Céline's voice is angelic and she's so beautiful. I'm a huge fan of her music. Try "Where Does My Heart Beat Now", her very first hit in the US!❤️☺️🌻
Celine Dion has an amazing instrument. This is actually a cover, Jennifer Rush penned and sung this song in 1984. Another cover she does "If You Ask Me To", Patti Labelle did originally.
It's worth listening to the original Jennifer Rush version from 1985. Her version is also beautiful and vocally no less powerful.
@@joho5955 I love Celine Dion's version, and I like Jennifer Rush's even more.
I have a question. Is Celine a songwriter? Does she do anything that she wrote?
Celine is my idol! As a singer myself, she delivers a master class in control. Believe me, it is not easy to do! Spectacular!!
“POWERFUL!!!!” Her voice is its own instrument!
Show must go on is my face queen song
She's definitely known for ballads, but Love Can Move Mountains is a very good uptempo song by her.
"If You Asked Me To" and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" are two of my favorites from her. I REALLY hope you react to those!
Another great Canadian singer from Quebec.
"The Power of Love" is a song co-written and originally recorded by American singer Jennifer Rush in 1984. It has since been covered by Air Supply, Laura Branigan and Celine Dion. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Power_of_Love_(Jennifer_Rush_song)
Celine's good and all but I have to say I much prefer Jennifer's original. It knocked my socks off when I first heard it. Then when I got to hear Jennifer's speaking voice it took a while for it to compute and sink in it was the same person.
@@stevefullerton1750 Yep, I much prefer Jennifer Rush's version too. I don't like the production on this one: very thin and bland to my ears.
Wow, really? Don't get me wrong, Jennifer does a great job, but to me there's no comparison. To each their own, just surprised.
@@stevefullerton1750 Yes. Jennifer Rush's original is incredible. Her voice knocks you back in your seat.
@@AZambri1 I guess sometimes it can be a case of which version you heard first. There's a few Beatles songs I like as covers better than the originals. Elton John and Earth, Wind & Fire immediately come to mind.
You must check out Celine’s duet with Barbra Streisand’s “Tell Him”. Talk about two power house vocals!!!
Chills.
If you do Je Suis Malade which I have requested before, please do the version with English and French subtitles on the screen
Well that’s a lie Celine hasn’t done anything to Lara Fabian career Lara herself would tell that it was because it was too much for her back then the American market and also fell in in a depression because she separated with her boyfriend that is the real truth about that moment in time
By the way it’s the story of Lara Fabian all her life being always behind Céline Dion you may not like it but it’s the truth 🤷♂️plane and simple
@@lenstgelais7376 I honestly don’t care, one way or the other.
Check out Norah Jones
Has that classic sultry voice
" Don't Know Why"
"Come Away With Me"
both excellent choices
I think her voice range is like no other.just truly amazing.nothing more i can say
She's the Queen 👑 of songs & music 🎵🎶 4 a reason...
Happy Female Friday!! What a voice!! Fingers crossed for Allison Krauss!!🤘🔥”Forget about it” is my favorite!
YES Blue Grass!! I don't think Amber & Jay have touched blue grass yet .. I love AK & The Union Station Band. "When you say nothing at all" is one of my faves of Alison Krauss. I second your suggestion!!!
Goodbye is all we have is a great one.
@@carrie-leehurzeler7413 Honestly I like any Alison Krauss & The Union Station Band. Her voice is so unique .. no one else has her sound.
Amber, you know plenty about music!! Who needs terminology :) One of the great voices, and the best-selling French language artist of all time
Even if they did know the terminology, it would be lost on most of us who don't know it either.
I think it would be cool to see them react to Celine singing French.
Celine's voice is PERFECT!!!
Her version of 'It's all coming back to me now' is flawless ( also recorded by Meatloaf ) plus she performed with The Bee Gees on a track called 'immortality' which I know you will love ❤️
I’ve been a fan of Celine Dion since I was a child in the 90s I have so much appreciation for her music. Please do more reactions of her catalog of music.
She is my absolute FAVORITE!! 🙌🥰
Whitney & Celine Dion!!! Two greatest voices ever!!!
She truly has one of the greatest singing voices in music history. Just incredible.
You’ll love Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill’s “How Great Thou Art”. It’s that amazing power that you’re talking about and it blows you away! And Celine has a ton of hits, she’s so great!
I recommend her song "Think Twice" and "Because You Loved Me". Both have her doing the vocal range like mad.
This is my favorite Celine song. So effortless for her.
Celine with Barbra Streisand is INCREDIBLE
Yes! Barbra Streisand is another great voice. Try listening to Evergreen. Beautiful I believe she sang it in A Star Is Born. Her version.
Brilliant! If you're looking for another great Celine Dion song, I'd suggest "Water from the Moon", such a perfect showcase for her vocal range!
Yes. People seem to mostly be suggesting songs from when she'd already "made it". But her early English albums have some of my favourites and Water From the Moon one of them.
She is THE G.O.A.T.!!!!!!
Getting goosebumps here... and this is probably the gazillionth time in my life that I am listening to this song
She is amazing here are some more of her greats one of which with one of Jay's favourites
Celine dion - seduces me
Celine dion - I Drove all night
Celine dion - Think twice
Celine dion - Because you loved me
Celine dion - It's all coming back to me now
Celine dion feat Bee Gee's- immortality
Celine dion feat Barbara Streisand - tell him
Celine dion + Luciano Pavarotti - I hate you then I love you
Celine dion - where does my heart beat now
Celine dion - coulda woulda shoulda
deffo immortality as it includes the bee gees
and think twice
{:-) PAV uk
If you liked the song, you really need to listen to Laura Brannigan’s interpretation of this song. She pours her very soul into it and has some grit and power that the Celine song lacks. Both great in different ways.
A big ditto! I much prefer Brannigan's version.
They both sing it with grit and soul and passion… They both have raspiness in their voice, and they’re both singing it to men that they love… You don’t have to knock down one to promote the other one that you feel is overlooked.
Who is that flop
Yall should hear her version of "All By Myself "
I've been in love with Celine Dion's awesome voice since I first heard "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" in 1990. And THAT is the next song you need to check out!
“It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” is a MUST!!!! Her range on that is unbelievable!!!!!!!
