Anakin got himself defeated by obi wan, thats what changed everything, he had no business loosing there, that's wen Palpatine deemed him a failure basically, literally 5 seconds after getting what he wanted he was disappointed

No matter what his force potential was lowered but with a more high tech suit that actually heals his injuries, he’d gain a lot of power back. He lost several limbs, that’s an insurmountable loss in terms of midoclorians, but the permanently damaged cells Sidious purposely let fester in vaders body stunted his power even more so. Who knows how much stronger he would have been if Palpatine wasn’t as Sadistic as he generally tends to be
I feel like part of it was playing at his emotions trying to make him feel like he needed him to bring him over to the dark side and play at the fact that the Jedi belittled him essentially by not making him master and making him feel like they didn’t need him truly but once he had him and was in a position to cage him in the suit like a dog lowering his power enough to forever be in control but to still be a powerful tool as well as strengthen his connection to the dark side by torturing and making him feel the negativity that fuels the power of the dark side an elaborate game he couldn’t have played if anakin never lost control and lost the battle against obiwan. I feel like palpatine knew the battle would either go the way of anakin severing his connection to the light side by killing those who loved him on mustafar in obiwan and possibly padme if she tried to fight it or being seriously wounded as he was and getting the opportunity to shape him into the perfect tool that could never overtake him and do his bidding so he can take all risk and if he fails he can make a new apprentice

Huh. I feel precisely the opposite. I love this channel, but the one thing which consistently irks me is their inclination to voice act the lines. Poorly. They have, however, pointed me to an excellent comic series, and I think I will give them a read myself.

Instead of just doing the general traits of the voices, making it their own, these people get really close to the way the original actors sounded but can't quite get it perfect. So my brain, instead of just accepting that those aren't the same voices but that they work just fine, keeps going "Oh, that sounds like the Emperor! ...Wait. No, no it doesn't." It's like an itch I can't scratch. They'd have done better to accept the vocal differences and focus on the emotion, pacing, intonation, and other distinguishing qualities of these characters' voices, instead of trying to match the originals down to the last detail and not managing it because duh, that's impossible. It's not the skill level that bugs me, it's what they're trying to do.

@@originalterrorsquad I don't think it felt random at all. Luke spent all of ROTJ trying to bring Anakin back, and seemingly comes close. Vader was able to resist the pull to the light that his son managed to bring back, at least until Palpatine is about to kill Luke. Even in ESB, Vader doesn't want to kill Luke and obviously does care about him to some extent, which is why he wants to overthrow the emperor to rule with his son (to avoid killing Luke). These comics create a very welcome addition to the story, but it made perfect sense without them.

It's sad that the only thing that stopped Darth Vader from slaying the Emperor and returning to seek forgiveness from Obi-wan was that he couldn't face all of the carnage that he was corrupted into committing. Even though he was basically the embodiment of "Lawful Evil", there seems to have always been that little sliver of light still inside of him. All it took was for his son, who he had only met a handful of times, to ask for his help in a time of need and suddenly Anakin came back. The Chosen One died with blue eyes.
For me I disagree. It being synthetic says more about the sith than a bleeding one. It's a false focusing of the force that drives their power, not a (well what's the symbolism for a bleeding focal lense?) Aye, I could see it a bit like "blood tinted glasses" in a sense, but perhaps it should have just been both

The story of corrupting a kyber crystal is so perfect. Another transformation for the Sith. Never seen it in another SW media. Gives a nice touch to the process of getting a sith weapon.
Imagine all the pain anakin went through. He got all his remaining limbs chopped off, the he was burned alive head to toe searing his lungs and basically blinding him, then he goes through sn agonizing surgery to be put in a suit that also causes him pain and lastly gets hit with force lightning from sidious of all people... to say that his transformation to Vader was that of fire is a dramatic understatement... he went through about as much pain as it is possible to go through and then just stands up and basically walks it off only to not terribly long after enter into pitched combat whith a jedi before even truly getting use to the new suit AND without a lightsaber... to say darth Vader is a beast just doesn't cut it..he's an unstoppable force of nature right up until he meets his son...
The time, energy, and passion you have in sharing this universe is truly remarkable. I come to listen to you tell these stories specifically because of that. Thank you sir.

I'm on the 4th movie at the moment in the game :D Mario Kart speaks for itself, who doesn't love this game?! :D You must have online with this game, its the best way to play it!

It’s sad how Vader still pursued Padme after her death and his defeat and transformation. The world and himself is completely different from what she loved. If he were to bring her back what would he do, what would she do and feel? He changed the world to save her but the world he destroyed was Padme and Padme was that world.
At the end it showed that even if he could bring padme back (which seems possible since momin came back) she would rather die than be with what Anakin has become. The way she kills herself in the comic is probably a reference to how she gave up on life after she realized Anakin became a monster.

I know this has been said before, but honestly, these comics are leagues ahead of the Disney Star Wars movies in quality. Every single arc and character in the Vader series was well written and multi-layered; I feel like some of the storylines actually add a lot of interesting concepts to the current Star Wars lore (like Darth Momin and Vader's castle on Mustafar).
Why didn’t the old Jedi dude stab Vader. Seems like a nit pick people would make to Disney Star Wars live action stuff. Like he and him kneeling with one leg a foot away, that’s like ridiculous
@@TrueGamer22887 Oh. If you mean about old movies, there are two explanations. One - actors were given props made of GLASS and were afraid to break them. Two - Jedi see close future. Best of the best of Jedi see the future minutes ahead, in full clarity. So, from their point of view, they battled 1000 times in a span of a second. ON TOP OF THAT the enemy also sees their own 1000 possible outcomes and changes the future/intent with their micro-movement, which, in turn, changes 1000 possible foreseen possibilities by their opponent etc. So, even the old dude is hesitant to make any move because he sees hundreds upon hundreds of outcomes where that move becomes his last, as Vader slices through him. That is why he was not committing to any of the actions he attempts - as his opponent has already foreseen all of them and is ready to counter-strike. And, eventually, he has to commit to one, just one, any one, and fails, as Vader has foreseen all his moves following that as well, and the odds were to his side. Essentially, imagine playing chess if both you and your enemy know each other’s next steps/thoughts.
I always wanted to see the immediate moments after Vader cries 'NOOO!' At the end of revenge of the Sith. So interesting how Sidius gave him the choice to accept his new fate or die. Really Vader had nothing left to live for so he decided to go all in with the dark side.
Worth the two hours better than any star wars movie I felt closer to them from this than any movie, almost sad because I feel like this didn’t cost millions if not billions to make… anyway I thoroughly enjoyed it
What is painfully annoying for me about that Jedi, is that he could have ended vadar on the mountain. Vadars mech leg breaks Jedi decides to still give his little speech (I'll let it slide) Instead of the Jedi force pushing vadar off the mountain, he can just kill him there. Like he could have. That guy could have finished off Vadars terror before it could really begin (aside from the whole "murder of the jedi temple" thing of course.) and that really just pisses me off.

The writer said that the scene doesn't confirm anything, in fact it probably confirms it's not true. Vader was having a vision from the DARK side of the force.... Not the most reliable source of information, since the dark side is characteristically manipulative and deceiving. It was probably just the dark side symbolizing how Palpatine has literally full control of Anakin's and Vader's life even since before he was born... He planned it all along

I say it be one where in the start you choose from iconic star wars sith. Vader, Dooku, Maul, even plagueis would be amazing. Then you play an epic campaign as them. Slaughtering younglings, you know, the usual sith stuff But really, playing as Vader and all you can hear is his breathing down a dark hallway, or Vader on mustafar with lava exploding in the background. There are enough derailed side stories as it is... It's a clusterfuck. Star Wars became big because of one story and 6 movies, now there's 12 movies if not more, countless series and an infinite amount of comics branching out in different perspectives and different timelines creating a greater clusterfuck than it already is. I haven't even watched Rouge One or Solo because they don't change anything... Those are just movies to milk your wallet. Throughout the first 6 movies we followed the story of the Jedi and how they fell and rise, if they should create something it's the view from the Sith during that same time period... Preferably with another 6 movies to match the original 6. This video above is a good example of the idea I'm aiming for, but we do not want another dedicated movie to a character, that's milking your wallet. But, Disney is Disney and fuckt it up good and there's no turning back now. If George Lucas was still alive he would probably have stopped Disney from ruining his work, cuz he cared for the story, Disney does not, they only care for their sales hence why you suddenly see cute crystal foxes in "The Last Jedi" for example. ... Fuck starwars, Disney screwed up.

His original vision for A New Hope was a disaster. I'm surprised you left out the fact that one of the assassins trying to kill Vader was shown with the last two fingers missing on his hand. Then, when they show Vader walking away after he killed the five officers randomly, they show that one of the officers in the ranks is missing the same two fingers. Not a coincidence, so Vader was definitely on the right track.

Seriously impressive. A good friend of mine told me to watch this and I'm glad I did. When I first watched Star Wars back in 1977, Darth Vader seemed little more than the "bad guy". Through the prequels and these comics, I've gotten to known him as so much more, ultimately a tragic character consumed by his own hate and allowing himself to be made into something I almost wonder if he was always destined to be. I've thought sometimes what might have been had the Jedi treated Anakin a bit nicer, helped him. guided him, showed him they genuinely cared for him,. Perhaps Darth Vader would have never been born. You did a really good job on this and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Even though he was basically the embodiment of "Lawful Evil", there seems to have always been that little sliver of light still inside of him. All it took was for his son, who he had only met a handful of times, to ask for his help in a time of need and suddenly Anakin came back. The Chosen One died with blue eyes.

Imagine all the pain anakin went through. He got all his remaining limbs chopped off, the he was burned alive head to toe searing his lungs and basically blinding him, then he goes through sn agonizing surgery to be put in a suit that also causes him pain and lastly gets hit with force lightning from sidious of all people... to say that his transformation to Vader was that of fire is a dramatic understatement... he went through about as much pain as it is possible to go through and then just stands up and basically walks it off only to not terribly long after enter into pitched combat whith a jedi before even truly getting use to the new suit AND without a lightsaber... to say darth Vader is a beast just doesn't cut it..he's an unstoppable force of nature right up until he meets his son...

Super Mario 3D All Stars, well how could I not get this! I played Galaxy 2 when I was younger and it was amazing, so having galaxy 1 which I never played, especially on portable is AWESOME. Never played sunshine, and played a little of 64 as a kid with friends so that one is also nostalgic.
Lego Harry Potter has been fun at times, and the music is really nice to hear. I got it half price, once I complete it I won't play again as it's not the most fun game, but there has been fun stuff so far. I'm on the 4th movie at the moment in the game :D

It’s sad how Vader still pursued Padme after her death and his defeat and transformation. The world and himself is completely different from what she loved. If he were to bring her back what would he do, what would she do and feel? He changed the world to save her but the world he destroyed was Padme and Padme was that world.
At the end it showed that even if he could bring padme back (which seems possible since momin came back) she would rather die than be with what Anakin has become. The way she kills herself in the comic is probably a reference to how she gave up on life after she realized Anakin became a monster.

I know this has been said before, but honestly, these comics are leagues ahead of the Disney Star Wars movies in quality. Every single arc and character in the Vader series was well written and multi-layered; I feel like some of the storylines actually add a lot of interesting concepts to the current Star Wars lore (like Darth Momin and Vader's castle on Mustafar).

One - actors were given props made of GLASS and were afraid to break them.
Two - Jedi see close future. Best of the best of Jedi see the future minutes ahead, in full clarity.
So, from their point of view, they battled 1000 times in a span of a second.
ON TOP OF THAT the enemy also sees their own 1000 possible outcomes and changes the future/intent with their micro-movement, which, in turn, changes 1000 possible foreseen possibilities by their opponent etc.
So, even the old dude is hesitant to make any move because he sees hundreds upon hundreds of outcomes where that move becomes his last, as Vader slices through him.
That is why he was not committing to any of the actions he attempts - as his opponent has already foreseen all of them and is ready to counter-strike.
And, eventually, he has to commit to one, just one, any one, and fails, as Vader has foreseen all his moves following that as well, and the odds were to his side.
Essentially, imagine playing chess if both you and your enemy know each other’s next steps/thoughts.
The Vader series is even leagues ahead of the other Star Wars comics, too, lol

I always wanted to see the immediate moments after Vader cries 'NOOO!' At the end of revenge of the Sith. So interesting how Sidius gave him the choice to accept his new fate or die. Really Vader had nothing left to live for so he decided to go all in with the dark side.

The writer said that the scene doesn't confirm anything, in fact it probably confirms it's not true. Vader was having a vision from the DARK side of the force.... Not the most reliable source of information, since the dark side is characteristically manipulative and deceiving. It was probably just the dark side symbolizing how Palpatine has literally full control of Anakin's and Vader's life even since before he was born... He planned it all along

There are enough derailed side stories as it is... It's a clusterfuck.
Star Wars became big because of one story and 6 movies, now there's 12 movies if not more, countless series and an infinite amount of comics branching out in different perspectives and different timelines creating a greater clusterfuck than it already is.
I haven't even watched Rouge One or Solo because they don't change anything... Those are just movies to milk your wallet.
Throughout the first 6 movies we followed the story of the Jedi and how they fell and rise, if they should create something it's the view from the Sith during that same time period... Preferably with another 6 movies to match the original 6. This video above is a good example of the idea I'm aiming for, but we do not want another dedicated movie to a character, that's milking your wallet.
But, Disney is Disney and fuckt it up good and there's no turning back now. If George Lucas was still alive he would probably have stopped Disney from ruining his work, cuz he cared for the story, Disney does not, they only care for their sales hence why you suddenly see cute crystal foxes in "The Last Jedi" for example.

His original vision for A New Hope was a disaster. I'm surprised you left out the fact that one of the assassins trying to kill Vader was shown with the last two fingers missing on his hand. Then, when they show Vader walking away after he killed the five officers randomly, they show that one of the officers in the ranks is missing the same two fingers. Really.. if the jedi figured out who sidious was early enough they could have saved anakins soul and all the jedi in the process. Anakin has always been my favorite character and I wish his path would have been better. Top ten characters of all time
@@Youngyacob which for the life of me I still can't understand. The Jedi (certainly powerful ones) can sense when the Force (light or dark) is strong with someone & can sense people from distance & through obstacles but they never even looked at Palpatine sideways
@@SportsSpeak73 It feels like they were gradually starting to suspect the chancellor of some kind of foul play in ROTS but still not quite realizing the truth until Anakin tells them. For not realizing that Palpatine is a Sith Lord, maybe Palps is so powerful he could use the Force to remain hidden or something, IKD?

Seriously impressive. A good friend of mine told me to watch this and I'm glad I did. When I first watched Star Wars back in 1977, Darth Vader seemed little more than the "bad guy". Through the prequels and these comics, I've gotten to known him as so much more, ultimately a tragic character consumed by his own hate and allowing himself to be made into something I almost wonder if he was always destined to be. I've thought sometimes what might have been had the Jedi treated Anakin a bit nicer, helped him. guided him, showed him they genuinely cared for him,. Perhaps Darth Vader would have never been born. You did a really good job on this and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm very greatful for the work of this creator,he makes all of these stories a lot more enjoyable then reading them
