The year is 2035, the Complete Canon Timeline is 6 hours. Jokes aside, you are the best Star Wars channel, I love the hard work both of you do, keep it up guys!
I just found this channel and just finished the hour+ video on 'every question in the original trilogy' and subscribed immediately. This will be my second video I've watched. Hell yeah...
In see of old ass star wars fans u seem like the only one that's optimistic which is fantastic and gives me hope in the sea of hate "star wars isn't what it was. Nowadays its complete bulshit and crap" and they say this for 20 years and i still love it and I love that theres ppl like me out there.
Honestly my favorite part of these videos is the format and layout. I love the way you organized everything. From the posters of the projects being talked about to the year counter. It just looks so official, like Lucasfilm themselves made it. Excellent job as always!
I love the look of this video too! One of my favorite Star Wars content creators, as are you, PigPen. Hope we get an updated Star Wars iceberg from you! 🤞🏻
If Alex had his way, he'd just be tracking the genealogy of Biggs Darklighter and any members of his extended family, but instead, he put us first and gave us a feature length video on the history of the entire Star Wars Galaxy. What a guy.
It just. Keeps. Getting. Better. I especially love how this video is able to cover the whole story’s key beats without spoiling things. Using lines like “An Allie betrays them” lets you know what happens, but preserves the who and why. Alex, Mollie, and anyone else who contributed 👏 BRAVO
Thanks for making Star Wars available to us every single day Alex and Mollie! Your hard work brings the joy of a galaxy far far away to us all! May the 4th be with you!
I don't care about what anybody says, that kid, looking at the stars and force pulling his broom, realizing he too can help and save the galaxy, THAT'S MY STAR WARS GATDAMMIT!!!!
WOW!!!! This is the first "Canon" video I've ever watched, and I am utterly amazed by the amount of work you've put into it. You just jumped to my FAVORITE Star Wars UA-cam Channel! Job well done!
correction on the 18 bby section: hemlock initially interrogated crosshair for omega's whereabouts in order to get nala se to cooperate in project necromancer, since lama su told him about nala se's bond with omega. hemlock just saw omega as a bargaining chip until emerie revealed omega's blood test results in s3e3.
Thanks for doing this every year. I haven't kept up with the online SW community since 2018 or so (it grew too toxic around that time for me to stick around), but it's always nice to check in and see what stories and lore I'm interested in exploring on my own.
I make a point to watch this every year. I always look forward to it. Thank you for it. I have always had a deep love for all of the Star Wars media for over forty years.
Thank you, Molly and Alex Damon, for taking the time to make this video. I also appreciate all the hard work and time you put into all your other videos that you make for this channel. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing next year's complete Cannon timeline with all the new stories we're getting this year. May the force be with you both.
Another year another update always glad to see it maybe one day we could get an updated legends timeline with newer graphics and longer video a man can dream
Well, there already is a Legends timeline video on this channel. And since that era has been discontinued (aside from the Old Republic game), there wouldn't be anything new to add.
@@EightThreeEight - You're quite wrong on that score. Even the video that is there leaves out so much, and as much as Alex leaves out of the Complete Canon Updates, he still puts more into them of what's available than he did of the Legends Timeline. And really, there was no point of comparison at the time, but when you look now at the amount of content available for Canon being as much as Legends has, the fact that so much more time is spent on the Canon Timeline than the Legends Timeline just means he could take the time to go back and do a more thorough job of giving us the Legends Timeline. Plus, he would have to include any final Legends material that came out at the end there, not to mention the additional issue of the original run of the Marvel Star Wars Comicbook for Legends which featured Valance. That alone is worth another video! 👍😄
I won't lie I didn't even realize it was may 4th today at first and when I turned my phone on and say the date I immediately thought about the new complete timeline coming out
Thanks for this video❤️ My niece was born May 4th. Her mom and now her(she's 3)love starwars so i needed to catch up. I've only seen the original trilogy but I'm liking it more as the story continues
Hello, Alex and Molly. I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks again for this amazing timeline. I've watched / listened several years in a row now. It's a great May the Fourth tradition. This year, my eight-year-old son and I listened to the whole thing on the subway to and from the movie theater where we saw The Phantom Menace (in the same cinema I saw it opening night 25 years ago). I was proud and happy when he asked if we could listen to the whole thing again the next day on the way to swimming! May the Force be with you both for many a fourth to come!
I think once The High Republic is done, you should do a complete timeline video of just that. Sounds like it should be about an hours worth of information at least.
@@etherealmistlc I don't know. But the last timeline video made for Legends just kind of skimmed over things for 45 minutes. I was just thinking it would be cool to have nearly a 2 hr timeline video to explain everything better.
It doesn’t need to like there’s really nothing new and legends ever I mean it’s honestly this is fine. I doubt that you care that anybody really cares.
@@etherealmistlc Just the odd very rare comic like Crimson Forever. Plus The Old Republic, somewhat (game expansions) The rest is all basically fanfic or RPG material.
Guys, thank you so much for all of the hard work you put into this. It's amazing that the timeline videos are about to become as long as the first film.
Thanks Alex and Molly! You guys are the best out there for sw fandom. I appreciate everything you guys do, please never change 🙏 may the fourth be with you

i really enjoy these canon timeline videos cuz it helps me with knowing which books and comics to get and when to read them when i do my star wars timeline book read and movie watching and game playthroughs and may the 4th be with you.
Wait, wait. So Sifo-Dyas had a vision of a terrible war, warned the Jedi Council about it and suggested they should prevent it via the Clone Army, and they called him a warmonger for foreseeing said war, and then they went to war using the very army that they branded Sifo a madman for wanting!?
This thing is basically a yearly tradition now. Thank you for all the work you do wrangling these crazy plot threads together into one cohesive timeline.
This video was awesome; I've not had the time to figure out where everything fits because there are so many films and live streaming and animations. Great work, thank you.
Amazing work as always! This is the first year I can watch most of this as i've been avoiding book and comic spoilers for the longest time but am finally almost caught up!
Amazing that you're able to put this together every year! I watched The Phantom Menace last night in theaters and plan to do more to celebrate today! May the 4th be with you!
Great job. I enjoy your timeline video every year. It is extremely hard when you do this, but it really helps as a recap for those who are following it, but also for newbies who are just starting to follow the timeline. Keep up the great work. You are my favorite Star Wars channel.

Back in 2021 I finished re-watching all the movies and tv shows plus the ones I hadn't watched yet. Once I finished I found myself wanting more, so I decided to start reading the books and comics going in chronological order. I watch these timeline updates every year to see how far I come and it's a great motivator. I am currently reading Aftermath: Life Debt and made it to 1:24:00 in the video. MTFBWY!
