between the Titan Hammer doing insane dps and fusions getting some love finally, I think it's a good time to solo flawless everything possible before Bungo cleans up there buggy mess
Sorry, can’t agree. DPS isn’t a problem, surviving is. Warmind cells range hurts in prophecy and taken mods were op. Fusions are great this season, but they can’t clear a room, provide 20% damage reduction, give you your grenade back whenever you break a shield, and give you heavy ammo for every grenade kill. Imagine using Xeno as a primary basically. It was possible.
If the Shattered Throne gets vaulted, it would mean that the perfect method of farming certain catalyst for exotics would disappear as well. I remember when I told my friends in my clan that the Thrallway was the best spot to farm catalysts for, and I also remember how long it took when I first did the Shattered Throne back when the Black Armory was still around and I had to get that quest item for Izanagi's Burden. Shattered Throne is one of those dungeons that is fun to go back to every now and then, and I hope it stays.
I honestly never do thrallway, the midpoint from the first encounter to there is just way to long for me, and the fact if you die once, it’s all the way back at the beginning is to much work. Shuro-Chi checkpoint all the way.
Soloing this was an experience. Jötunn was my best friend during the Vorgeth fight. Also playing this as a Nightstalker Hunter felt like being a thief burgling in a cursed castle. One of the best content in the game.
With us getting a dungeon or raid every 3 months with a hard version, starting with the 30th anniversary pack you got a lot of big stuff you may work on
I honestly like to think that 1 raid every season pass may be a returning raid and if Crota does come in WQ then Kings'Fall would be in one of the seasons
I still remember when my sibling and I two manned the dungeon when it released. We never had anyone to fill that third spot and it took a lot of time and attempts but we did it.

I feel like sunsetting the dreaming city is bound to happen through a story perspective. Petra opened the gates to the dreaming city for the guardians to help stop the curse. once the curse is lifted, there would be no reason for the guardians to keep wandering into awoken territory. So I wouldn't be surprised after we ended the curse, and mara sov is just like "alright, y'all are done here, get the fuck out!"

8:00 Oryx did not kill her, Mara and the Techeuns that were behind her (Shuro Chi, Kalli, and Sedia), quickly opened a portal to the Dreaming City, and due to this, the location of the Dreaming City was revealed to Oryx, and he was able to find and Take Riven, and also all of the Techeuns, including the ones we are now rescuing in the Season of the Lost.
I bet this is somewhere on the internet somewhere already but I found it back when trying to find that secret chest. Me and my friend didn’t use tincture of queen’s foil so we were just searching around the room where you used to enter shattered throne on the week where you could start the mission. We would jump on the taken blights and were able to find a hole in the ceiling. It’s still there too. I checked a few weeks ago. Again it is probably on the internet somewhere.

Now with our wayfinders compass and the ascendant plains we encounter. Wish 15 is almost guaranteed to be hidden in there. Especially now that quria is dead
The whole dungeon was just creepy (in a fun way). The atmosphere changing from vibrant and beautiful to cold dark and eerie. The enemies from day one being relentless. Everything was just well designed and just fun to complete anytime.
24:00 Psh, maybe to you. I live that bow and use it all the time. It hits so hard and being able to see through walls is super useful. I know most people don't use this bow, and yeah, it really needs a catalyst.

People have SUCH a love OR hate relationship with this dungeon, no in between and I don’t get the hate side. Is it Vorgeth? Is it being able to fall to your death so easily throughout such a large percentage of the dungeon? Those are the things that make it fun for me.

All I can say about The Shattered Throne is *'Damn did it leave an impression.'* Doing this 10 levels below the recommended cap when it first came out, barely doing the Ogre Fight & the final boss as well as having to do that crazy ???? tangled shore mission for Wish-Ender. Bungie literally can't vault the Dreaming City without breaking their promise to keep seasonal events around for 4 season cycles instead of the usual 1. Astral Alignment has to stay around for Witch Queen because of this promise. Or did I read that particular article wrong?

Bro Shattered Throne was something beyond special that Pit of Heresy and Prophecy lacked. I'm so happy that I managed to clear ST solo. I mostly had problems in the scaffolding part, and on Vorgeth. The Final boss was also a bit of a struggle. Edit: I never even thought of, that the scaffolding part looks like Anor londo from DS, even though I played a lot DS 3.
personally i think prophecy is the real dungeon that changed destiny forever because it was so unique compared to other dungeons however shattered throne is 100% top tier destiny content and the first one all i know is prophecy is the dungeon that has got me hyped for more dungeons to get released more so than anything else
I’d say prophecy is it’s own separate but great dungeon. I think Shattered will always be special to me because of how it came to be and how it was a complete secret the whole time
Prophecy’s cool but come on shattered throne has so many cool and varied encounters, and I honestly think it has a cooler aesthetic plus it had wish ender.
@@evanf1997 fair enough i do love how secretive it was and i guess same time i believe how prophecy was released also is partly why i love it so much. like didn't expect much to come from the season then bam a f2p dungeon out of nowhere in the announcement stream. although i do still remember my first shattered throne clear with my 2 friends us being completely lost no idea where to go was a great experience on that day 1. i guess LW just overshadows shattered throne for me because of how pinnacle that raid was to me personally grinding day 1 raids in the future. still wish i got first console clear for LW but will have to settle for 2nd

Bungie was sooooo specific with each and every single enemy spawn and location that makes it feel that they legitimately placed every single enemy individually.
I will always love this dungeon to heart
27:27 so you were a prophet back then huh?
I'm so happy that I managed to clear ST solo. I mostly had problems in the scaffolding part, and on Vorgeth. The Final boss was also a bit of a struggle.
Edit: I never even thought of, that the scaffolding part looks like Anor londo from DS, even though I played a lot DS 3.
23:50 oh i can assure my friend, it did. IT DID!!!
Can I just say the production quality on these videos is top tier and keeps getting better, Evan you’re a legend
Older piece of content exists
evanf1997: This older piece of content changed Destiny history forever and ever.
Repeat ad nauseum.
On day 1 I called the Thrall-way, the perfume room in reference to spongebob
My man with the back to back to back to back to back to back to back bangers
Wouldn't surprise me if Mara mentions the 15th wish in the coming weeks, only to get stolen by Savathûn and using it to get the light.
Great stuff as always, evan. Screw the speaker, you're the official narrator of Destiny now.
Lmaoooo that Frost clip at the end.
Have you made a video about the disaster that was the Niobe Labs? If not I would definitely like to see that one
the intro felt like the opening sequence to a cod campaign
Thankfully the Dreaming Coty still stands within Destiny 2. I hope as a location it never leaves. It’s too iconic!
Four years later, and the Descent is still a real pain to solo
The new editor did great
Thank you! Happy you enjoyed it!
personally i think prophecy is the real dungeon that changed destiny forever because it was so unique compared to other dungeons however shattered throne is 100% top tier destiny content and the first one
all i know is prophecy is the dungeon that has got me hyped for more dungeons to get released more so than anything else
Shattered throne walked so prophecy could run
@@camcicero947 i can respect that
I’d say prophecy is it’s own separate but great dungeon.
Can't wait for the dreaming city video
3:40 you missed the opportunity to say "o viewer mine" 💀💀💀
Damn you really called out savathun getting the light that's crazy, everything else was wrong thou lololol
I wonder if we will eventually repair maras throne world and get to see what it looks like in its original beauty
Just got back into destiny and just now realized I have that ship from the dungeon lol
“HEY IT’S THE CHANGED FOREVER GUY!”
