Patricia Lisowski 😄 thank you! My husband would probably disagree with you when it comes to my patience. I do always try to find good deal and save on clearance though, including plants!
I love shopping the Lowe's clearance carts! I must've gotten into the same sale here in Texas as I also acquired quite a few succulents in January. I did find mealy bugs in mine, but mostly the plants were suffering from over watering. Your video inspired me to go check my plants, so I've subbed and look forwards to more videos! :D
Lindsey Sell they are all mixed up with healthy ones now. I think I pointed out some of them in the last few update videos. Hope the ones you bought recover! 😊
I agree with you that the Crassula is not edema. That looks fungal to be. If it’s edema, the new leaves recover and don’t have it like you said! I’m sorry for you loss, I had one that did that too. I guess these guys must be susceptible to some fungal or bacterial infection that others aren’t as susceptible too? Cause I’ve only had Crassulas do this... never any others! 🤔
Some anti fungal plant remedies: Organic: chamomile tea for watering and a mist; cinnamon for a soil topper; new sterile sand as a soil topper; garlic tea; neem oil And finally, my non-organic "nuclear option" for when all organic options fail and I still want to try to save the plant: Immunox systemic disease and fungus killer. It is absorbed by the plant and kills from the inside out. Of course, do a few treatments of whatever you might try to see if the solution works. And wear gloves and protection when spraying Immunox. Oh yeah, I forgot sulfur, which can be bought as a powder and either used as a powder or mixed with water into a spray. Also, wear a mask when dealing with sulfur dust.
nana jack this time I sprayed alcohol on roots and top of the plant and then repeated two times spraying of top on only three plants that had mealy bugs.
Hi Marija. So sorry about your Crassula. I found this page if you want to see. homeguides.sfgate.com/brown-spots-succulents-84480.html it might be helpful. Your other succulents are doing so good and this is very happy thing. Your new pots are very beautiful. I sent you positive energy for your plants to root and grow. Many hugs.
Karla Cuberos you can just ‘behead’ it. Cut off the top rosette and place it in dry soil to root. Sometimes bare left over stem will grow rossetes too.
what a great rescue effort! It takes a special gardening soul to take on dying plants and revive them
You are a very patient caring plant lady... patience is a virtue that we need to grow nice plants without breaking the bank! Rock on!

succulents are so amazing that they can come back from the brink of death! TFS!
Good information
I love buying bargain plants and nursing them back to help. It’s so easy and I save so much money

Ashley Glassman / Ya Dig It? Thank you! It was so hard to throw it away! 😔 glad you help me clarify it might fungus.
Ashley Glassman / Ya Dig It? You are correct! Only Crassulas did this! I just might need to boost their health to prevent it this year!

Hi Marija...they look great for only a month....what spray did you use for the bugs

Olga's dreamland thank you sooo much! ❤️
It's Haworthia Limifolia, fairy washboard, is it?
The one you show at 1:38 what do you do when it has that long stem? I have one just like that. With a tiny rosette growing on top.
Karla Cuberos you can just ‘behead’ it. Cut off the top rosette and place it in dry soil to root. Sometimes bare left over stem will grow rossetes too.
