Anne Hathaway shot up in my estimation when I first saw this clip of her. It's not just the question 'are you trying to fit into a cat suit?' it's the head tilt and patronising way she asks it too! For Scarlet's interview, I was hoping Jeremy would jump in and start discussing if he wears boxers or briefs under his costume. Scarlet is more than capable of handling this situation on her own, but a FRIEND wouldn't have let her. As a Seinfeld fan.....I think it was hilarious. Jerry was never a good actor, and always was about to break character when he was trying to keep from laughing. He looked the same way here....smiling and trying not to laugh, but get through the "scene".
Larry mentioned cancelled implying the show was cancelled. Just implying plants that seed, Jerry was aware of that and why he went off.
I think he did get a little too offended by the question. He could have just explained by saying "No, they absolutely didn't cancel me. I felt it was time to move on after all these years of popular episodes". It was a question, not an accusation.
Jerry was not upset. He was giving Larry King a hard time which is 100% in line with Jerry's brand of humor. He don't mind poking fun at a stupid question or the person asking if He think's its funny, He also doesn't do pre-interview interviews where they talk about what they wanna talk about, it's all done on the fly.
Tom Hardy handled that like a champ. The guy was definitely looking for a reaction, and by not giving him much of one, it was the perfect way to say, "Dude, shut up" without being rude.

I think because these people are famous and so well known and loved we feel we have the right to know EVERYTHING about them, forgetting they are still people and deserve a right to privacy. I love how classy Anne Hathaway is. She politely told the guy to back off numerous times without adding any fuel to the fire. I love how she turns it around on him and constantly questions him like he did her. That dude honestly gives me the creeps. It's like was like he was trying to undress Anne and Scarlet in his mind during the interview.

Honestly the ones that made me cringe were Seinfeld & West but not because I thought the interviewer was rude. West deserved the treatment for his own rude/crazy stunts. And Seinfeld was out of bounds and reacted purely based on his ego in thinking he and his show of his own name should be common knowledge to everyone. I for example know who he is and his show but I'm not a fan and don't watch so it's not possible for me to know if I happened to watch that interview. I only know who he is because I always see my dad watching his show and more recently for his Bee movie. That's it.
Nah, I disagree completely, that interviewer was trying to make Kanye look like the bad guy, by playing him the clip and trying to make him feel sorry for Bush, right after he already apologised, for calling him a racist. Plus playing the Taylor Swift clip, while he was talking, I agree with him, that was ridiculous.
Katie's question was absolutely rude and unacceptable and it's good that she listened and apologized for it.

I disagree. I find it funny how often men like Chris Hemsworth, "Thor," or hardy in warrior are asked rigorously about their diets and workout regimes, but because they are men, it isn't seen as sexual. Why can't women who are fit for roles be objectively asked about their fitness regimes?

Not defending him but I think it's completely normal for interviewers asking these questions. Actors/ Actresses have the pressure to being in a certain physique to do the role, whether that's to gain a few pounds or lose it.

They ask every guy who does a super hero role what they did, and even ate to get into shape. She should never of been cast. She is too thin skinned.
Dumb interviewers ask that.
I've trained actor to get into shape. They often get asked what they ate, and how they trained. Cavil has had to talk about how many calories he ate per day, just to get into shape. That is common.
Dumb interviewers are pretty common, too. As a journalist in this field, he wasn't informed enough about her performance to introduce a question in the matter. He has the reputation of being vague and indiscreet (BTW, he is the guy who asks about Scarlet's underwear), that's why he get this treatment. If you have genuine interest in fitness or bring a solid set of questions, you will get a decent answer. He couldn't even mention any scene, any backstage reference.
Christian Bales transformations are extensively documented by journalists, including for that very film. Her hostility to the question is ridiculous.
Actually, I think the only person who was needlessly rude was Jerry Seinfeld. Everyone else got what they deserved.

Explain to me how it's ok for the interviewer to be unknowledgable about the very subject he's interviewing on, and how it's rude to correct him with facts?
