You're a recent fan (as am I), so it'd make more sense not to know her earlier albums. But a few years back, with her second album being a more recent event, it'd make sense to know it as a fan.
You don't have to know everything about a singer/song writer. Even the name of albums. It's okay to be a fan and not know everything; song, album, people in the band. The whole notion that you have to is dumb. You like the music, you like the genre of music and so on make no difference to whether or not you are a fan.
