ruth ingle my family moved to the us, but I wish I lived in Britain ☹️. I’m hoping to move to Britain when I grow up. That’s a dream of mine I’d like to follow! I love everything there, the food, the culture, you lot have TEA TIME!!! The accents are just brilliant, you guys don’t have to make this awkward “R” sound. I’m trying to learn the RP(received pronunciation) accent, so when I move there(hopefully) I will be able to fit in properly 😊

Whoever this guy is, he totally does not get the show. There really aren't ever any truly awkward moments on Graham Norton. Graham alone is an expert at hilariously diffusing situations and/or creating funny distraction, but it's also why he nearly always has a comedian on the couch, to help keep things funny. I hate when people project things onto other people, and whoever this guy is he projected "reactions"/feelings onto various guests that simply weren't there in order to "prove" his claims that things were awkward. Guests on Graham Norton always seem to be having a blast, just rolling with things, playing up to the live audience and enjoying the free alcohol. In fact I'd say that the more weird somebody behaves on the show the better the show gets. It's the exact opposite of "awkward." And only Graham can pull that off. That's why his show is the best chat show in TV history.

Ive seen most, they are not awkward at all, they are just scraping the barrel to find some controversy.
Even at its awkward moments it’s the best talk show in history. The relaxed format where the stars get to play off of each other is brilliant
Nowhere near the best talk show in history. Nowhere near the same quality as the likes of David Frost and Dick Cavett, who asked insightful questions that weren’t just build ups to a gag/for laughs.

I think British humour with its no holds barred is not something Americans find comfortable. There is no topic uncomfortable on talkshows in the UK. So this list might be awkward to Americans but not at all to Brits...just good laughs and fun. Miriam is a good example of why she is adored by Graham and all. She is a regular for that reason

I'm American, love Miriam! Every time she's on it's a great show. Funny, unexpected and downright cheerful. Can't understand the Johnny Depp thing not really awkward, but left off Greg Davies and the diarrhea story?? That's funny too. The difference is the other guests thought it was hilarious too. I'm American and I agree with you. Like a lot of things in America, half of us understand that kind of humor while the other half does not.
I’m American- the only thing I thought was awkward was the girl whose dad was in the audience because she was clearly unhappy how he ignored her cues to talk about something else out of respect for her father.

Other than Cara's interview, I don't think these were awkward. Graham and the guests were going with the flow, and the audiences were laughing. I DO think that Mark Wahlberg isn't a very good guest on any talk show. He tries too hard to be cool and macho, and instead appears to be arrogant.

This made no sense to me either - it was the stand out in this list - all of talking points are always cleared with the guests before they appear, so she would have agreed to it beforehand and maybe changed her mind? Either way you just feel bad for everyone involved that they had to go through that awkwardness

I wouldn’t say that, exactly. Having worked in the domestic abuse/ sexual assault field, too many women are disbelieved or are treated as if they were attacked because of something they did, or wore, or said.
I think part of the problem lies with the mob mentality and groupthink. It’s much easier to agree with words that sound right than to actually think them through or thoroughly investigate whether or not they are. This is an age of instant gratification and if people have to wait too long or work too hard, they lose interest. Sensationalism has become bigger than honesty.
I’m glad the truth came out in the end but he shouldn’t have had to lose so much before it did. I understand a lot of horrible people have gotten away with despicable acts for decades. This should not compel people to treat others as if they were guilty until proven innocent in order to distance themselves from the possibility that it could be true. This is a complex issue for several reasons, one being sexual abuse or physical abuse is very hard to prove. You stand the best chances if you go directly to the hospital but I have still seen abusers go free even with physical evidence. One woman had her face broken in two places and was swollen and split beyond anything most people have probably seen. Her abuser was ordered to surrender his guns and had a protection order for one year. No jail. She was taken to a shelter in another state without any personal belongings or even her own clothes for her protection. Women don’t leave everything they have behind if they are lying about who beat them almost to death or raped them. This woman should have been taken seriously enough to perform an investigation because enough women, children, and even men are not believed. But, he deserved the right to have his name exonerated from the results before so many people assumed his guilt.
I guess if you are tearing down one person, the group isn’t focusing on you.

@@ambivalentdisaster673 honestly, that's because the vast majority of the time in abusive relationships women are the victims and men are the perpetrators. It's only the minority of cases when the man is the victim, as is the case with Johnny Depp. Though to be quite honest some of that is due to toxic masculinity culture that doesn't tolerate the idea of a man being brutalized by a woman in a relationship, because of the perception that it makes a man "weaker". We need feminism so that more men who are victims of domestic abuse can feel brave enough to come out about being victims and the culture as a whole can believe them all, Depp included.

*The narration and editing deserves an Oscar,* keeping the viewers perched, while the mundane entertainers with their scripted stage shtick, probably lacked roaring excitement during the other 99 percent of these interviews.

Miriam Margolyes is not the celebrity equivalent of Marmite. She's naughty, yes, but lovely and talented. If you've seen her perform onstage as Mr Bumble, you know she's a wizard.
Graham always handles any potential 'tricky' moments on his show, with his usual quick-wittedness and off- hand humour.
Putting the shallow luvvies on the spot and allowing themselves to look like the cupid stunts that most of them are, makes for good telly.
John Cleese is comedy royalty, and Taylor Swift, made him roar with laughter, with a dry one liner.
That's my number 1.
Excuse me but ACCUSED is not convicted. Johnny Depp has every right to have his career and I felt for him so much at this time. Imagine coming onto a talk show feeling like the whole world believes the worst of you. Graham is brilliant, but some situations aren’t salvageable. Imagine how HE felt during much of this! Keanu was funny, playing innocent…bless him😂

Jesus only sends the Holy Spirit to enter the heart and body of the true repentant sinner (one who is sorry for their sins from the heart and tells Jesus so, and makes the decision to turn to Him). Do not turn to religions though (they are man made)....only to Jesus. We are the final generation now to His return. You have to walk with Him and His Word daily (the christian bible). He saved me decades ago. A lot happens when you get saved/born again of the Spirit but you have to be sincere or nothing can happen and you cannot enter heaven. Here is Jesus warning that you can only go to heaven if born again: Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again...'[John 3 verse 3]...........christian bible. Anyone can die any day, age or hour. It is vital to turn to the Lord. Millions are in hell who left it too late even good and kind people, but they were rebellious and refused to admit they were sinners.
Note: if UA-cam channels like this are going to use other people’s content for views, at least show the clip in question, then narrate. Narrating on top of the clip as we are watching is distracting and annoying. I’m not 5 years old to which I need everything explained as I go.
I've never seen a pair of brothers hate each other so much. I'm shocked beyond the reality that these two even worked together for one rehearsal ever in their entire lives. I'm surprised neither one has attempted murder on the other. You know, there's sibling rivalry and then there's the Gallaghers.
The whole Richard Gere interview was creepy as hell. You could see Siorse Ronan edging away. Felt for her, she looked acutely uncomfortable.

Well, it’s because people are changing sides after Johnny Depp filed a $50-million defamation case against Amber and has presented evidence that he was allegedly on the receiving end of the abuse.

Amber Heard talked about the domestic abuse in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed, which prompted Johnny’s defamation lawsuit against her. “The op-ed depended on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her,” the complaint read. It also stated that all of Amber’s claims were “categorically and demonstrably false” and that there are testimonies from two separate police officers, third-party witnesses, and 87 newly-obtained surveillance footage that could refute her.
The lawsuit also listed down incidents of Amber’s alleged abuse since the start of their marriage, including punching and kicking, as well as staging her attacks. The Blast managed to obtain a photo of Johnny’s black-eye which was allegedly caused by Amber after he was late for her 30th birthday dinner on April 21, 2016.
Another instance detailed her throwing a vodka bottle at Johnny, resulting in a hand injury. TMZ reported on something similar in 2016 when the actor accidentally sliced his finger and allegedly wrote “Billy Bob” on a mirror, who he accused Amber of cheating with. Back then, it was reported that he was injured while abusing his then-wife.
This gets messier: The court document noted that Amber was previously arrested for “violent domestic abuse and having confessed under oath to a series of violent attacks on Mr. Depp.” It added that she allegedly staged all of this to advance her career.

Thank you. I am so tired of people supporting that lying little troll and acting like they're sticking up for domestic abuse victims. Bullshit. She's no domestic abuse victim, she's the abuser! And she actually did cut off the tip of his finger, but tried to say it was him who smashed the end of his finger off while throwing a bottle at her. I don't even know how that's possible.
I can't believe so many people fell for her crap. They think they're being "woke" when all they're doing is being a fool.

Depp wasn't innocent in everything that's true, but neither was Heard. She was just as abusive if not more so and by most others accounts it was her that was awful to him. He had substance abuse problems that are well documented and she has some severe anger problems that are also well documented.

The whole Johnny Depp thing still pisses me off. And no I’m not talking about him being abusive I’m talking about the fact that he was just accused of it and people demonized him. The Miriam Margoyles episodes are some of the best episodes in Graham Norton, EVERY guest loved her, Will i am was hugging her the whole time when sitting by her by the end of it and they became good friends. Thats just ONE of the scenes. The majority of them have all the context taken out and the reactions afterwards taken out aswell.
