    Fantastic 20 mins non stop low intensity aerobics demo dr andrea. Very dedicated work ..keep it up. First i have published my video on fibromyalgia on english and my native language with base of your old introduction video on fibromyalgia i have got many queries and asked my personal waatsup to discuss their own problem .10 to 15 patients i had chat with them spoken with them labelled long ago as fibromyalgia and landed up with psychological issues multisite pain multiple diagnosis took more medicines and finally my video gave some hope like that they told i have encourage exs like aerobics strength training stretching and yoga meditation and counciling ....they asked me mild 5 mins of exs itself causes pain so they used to discontinued .now these excellent exs demo will be accurate guidance for such chronic sufferers low intensity in all modes with 100 percent clarity ....amazing madam ..

    Thank you for your great effort. It is really good that now we can have a leader who can lead our training in fibromyalgia but it would have been better if you had tried to do each movement in a more correct ergonomy position. Maybe by getting help and observation of a good aerobics instructor. For example the squats movements were not performed correctly, which may cause injury to the knees.

      Have you seen my most recent video? I interviewed Fiona, a woman who had fibromyalgia for 25 years, and she is now pain-free for the past 4 years. You may watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/DaLSRag7uCE/v-deo.html

    Thank you for these videos. I started on Tuesday with the gentle stretching video, and yesterday I felt better so I added this low intensity cardio and am doing the same 2 again today. I feel so much better already! Thank you again from a fibromyalgia sufferer! You have saved me from unrelenting pain.

    Peace be upon you. I have erosion of cartilage in my knees. I am 26 years old. I had PRP injections in them and the pain did not go away. Can I start exercises or a program that I can follow? Thank you

    • @DrAndreaFurlan

      Hi Khalid. It is really important that you see a physiotherapist. The physiotherapist will examine your specific situation and tell you what you can and cannot do. These videos are for educational purposes only. Now that you are more knowledgeable about your condition and the types of exercises you could be doing, it will be much easier for you to discuss with your physiotherapist. You will understand what they are saying, and why they are recommending one exercise and not the other one. I think that patients who are more knowledgeable about their options are much better to adhere to the treatment recommendations. That is the ultimate goal of these videos, that you can discuss with your health care professional and be a partner in the decisions.

    I am struggling with wearing shoes for exercise and therapy due to crps in feet, what kind of shoes would you recommend in place of sneakers to do exercise safely? thank you!

    • @DrAndreaFurlan
      @DrAndreaFurlan  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Linda. I feel that I need to do a video about that. People with CRPS have hyper sensitivity to touch and it is hard for them to wear any sock or shoe. There are some de-sensitization techniques that make this better.

    • @lindacarmelle8333
      @lindacarmelle8333 2 роки тому

      @@DrAndreaFurlan Thank you Dr. Furlan! Yes my therapists introduced me to some de-sensitization techniques, I have used them for almost a year. Those techniques do help and many could benefit from them. I do experience nausea when doing those, but they do help and others may not experience that side effect.

    • @lindacarmelle8333
      @lindacarmelle8333 2 роки тому

      If anyone here has experienced CRPS and has recommendations for brands of shoes that work for them .please feel free to reach out or post. I have tried to buy open toe shoes, but more structure is needed for exercise and some slip resistance. It has been difficult to find good shoes . Thank you to all who read and share!
