It's called "strawberry face" cause 1 in Japanese is "ichi" and 5 is "go". So 1-5, as in S15, is ichi-go. Now, here comes the fruit reference. "ichigo" means strawberry, and its a conversion for the car's "face", hence the term "strawberry face."

I think it's funny when people say drift tax the cars are getting older you can find one $500 because there are not that many left for a running and driving ka car you looking at 3500 on the cheap end hell people want $600-800 for a ka24de swap they used to almost give them away or they would scrap them with less of them around the $$$ people beat the shit out of them and junk them what do you think is going to happen in 10 more years the 350z will fill the track and the 240 is heading straight for the ae86 market

Japanese for numbers 1 and 5 (in s15) are 一(ichi) and 五(go). イチゴ(ichigo) as a word on its own also means ‘strawberry’, hence why the s15 bumper is named the strawberry face.

Wow!! I think this is one of my favorite episodes. And to tell you the truth I really like that Odi has had the same car for as long as he has . And I also like how he has his car setup. The only caveat being from what I understand having a stiffer shell allows the suspension to actually be tuned in better. but from following MotoGP I also understand that if the frame is too stiff it becomes too hard on the tires so there is definitely some voodoo going on with his setup. So intriguing!!! Now to the merch store to get my shirt !😀😁
