Dany is definitely special, she survived the dragon-hatching ceremony, she could probably survive dragon-binder blowing. However it has been pointed out earlier, by Maester Aemon, that the Valyrian language is gender-neutral, so in translation to the Common Tongue 'No man' could have actually meant 'No person'. So I don't know if Dany being a woman might actually be of consequence. Then again, there *could* be a curse on it that kills men but spares women, that sort of thing happens in mythology.
It was years ago, but it was around the time that the oil industry, and related industries, were changing MSDS (material safety data sheet) to SDS (safety data sheet). The reason we were given, is that some Languages like German (it was the example he gave) has no word for material. So I concede your point that you're making. However I find it odd, that the valyrians had no words to describe two different genders. It's thousands of years old, and Languages are ever changing, with each generation, and migration. For example the closest equivalent to old norse, is Icelandic. Russian and Ukrainian are very similar and different. Not to forget American English versus England English, and the subsequent meaning of words change over the years, let's not forget about the words, "there, their, they're". Take molestation, a similar word to harass, to bother, but now is used almost exclusively in regards to child predation, of the sexual kind. It could be that Aemon was right, about how it is used most recently, and he could be ignorant to towards and phrases used way before him. Considering the freehold was utterly destroyed, along with all text they had, from what we are told at least. I can't imagine the citadel having tons of writing from there, in good enough condition to handle at least. Remember what Sam said about many of the older books.
@@schmalzilla1985 there are many real world languages that are gender neutral and rely on inference so it’s not all that odd. i feel like this also makes sense in regards to Valyrian society likely having been more equal as any gender can ride dragons or wield magic
High Valyrian is gender-neutral but still has words for men and women. "Vala" is the word for man and "abra" for woman. There is a word "daorys" which means no one, but "dore vala" which means no man is also a valid expression ("no one" and "no man" don't necessarily have the same meaning)
Dragonbinder possibly summoning a meteor impact makes me wonder about Valyria. If Dragonbinder is the only one of its kind, and it's supposed to control dragons, perhaps during the political struggles within Valyria, somebody managed to seize the horn, hoping to use it to control everyone else's dragons and effectively become emperor/empress. Instead, the horn called down a meteor, which caused a gigantic earthquake, which then caused the Fourteen Flames to erupt, destroying the entire peninsula.
@@Lumistrocity I still haven't gotten around to reading Fire and Blood. Does it specify whether or not Balerion fully recovered from those wounds? I always thought the Dragon Pit indirectly killed Balerion because extended captivity combined with his massive size made him too weak to fly and so his age started to catch up to him.
@WafflingMean44 it's not mentioned whether he recovers but I know he only had 1 rider after the incident, viserys and at that point he could only fly around kings landing once or twice, but with aerolla (however you spell it) he would of been fit enough to fly to Valeria allegedly
The whole Witch king business wasn't just Eowyn. He was first stabbed by Merry, a Hobbit (technically not a man) and definitely harmed by that. They both were a tag team of technicalities that I love. I'm sure since Tolkien literally wrote dictionaries and was a translator he savored in being able to have a little fun in this scene and show the power of language.
The dagger that merry used against him had come from the Barrow Downs. And is a relic of the wars against the witch king centuries earlier. They had spells cast on them since that time to defeat his magic.
@@LuciusoftheVorenii This! I had exactly this argument in college when the movies came out, opened up the book, and read the passage aloud to the other person in the argument. It's clearly indicated that the ancient weapons from the barrow were enchanted to damage the Witch King (and his forces) who later became the head ring wraith and that Eowyn wouldn't have been able to damage him without this magic injuring him.
@J V ELL not sure if your being serious, but I was wondering if they were Narwhal horns; so screwing them together would make a lot of sense physically and thematically! Though it would be more of a missionary. The burned horn though not Sam’s.
I’ve had that thought too, Jon found the package of obsidian blades with a horn that wasn’t elaborated on much that I believe was the horn of winter. If he is reborn as an other, which would fully make since, he would have to blow it to cross the wall. Since it would allow the others into the realm, I don’t know what would drive him to do so other than anger from the brothers that killed him, or maybe to prevent the very possible ending of the night’s watch/free folk peace, whatever his notion I fully expect that both horns will be sounded in WoW… if it ever gets completed.
Why did the Valyrians even need a dragonbinder? The Targs in Westeros didn't need them so seems strange that now there is a horn that can bind dragons to anyone's will. Would have thought that Valyrians would not want this artifact to exist for fear that anyone could master the dragons.
@@jschoma11 Someone on a random video's comment section made a very interesting argument for that. She was talking about genetics, and that the Targs dragons eventually withered and died out after several generations of inbreeding. Their genetic "pool", so to speak, had gotten too small after leaving Valyria and only having a small circle of other dragons to breed with, they suffered the same genetic maledictions that prolonged inbreeding often causes. I thought it was a great explanation for the dragons getting smaller and weaker and eventually dying out. Dany's dragons are from a time where their genetic pool was larger (and the stock healthier). Who knows? I wish I could remember the writers' name, because it's a very intriguing argument.
@@made-line7627 it would definitely work, the dance is blamed for the loss.of dragons but it also works as an explanation for the loss of genetic diversity
Indicates to me that it does something more than just bind a dragon to the owner. They had breeding dark magic for that, which made up a key pillar of their culture Surely the horn plays some other role, else they would have mass produced that instead of wierd inbred eugenics
Every new video is better than the last. Not only all your theories and exposition are carefully detailed, your edits are also so attentive and cool. All the work you put into this channel shows. Very satisfying, thank you LmL!
Victarion's description of the horn is so phallic, I chuckle every time I hear it. I can't help but love how candid he is as a character. There's a naive innocence to Vic that you can't help but find endearing. Also, the season 8 khal burning scene may be a place-filler for Dany blowing the horn. also, also: it's refreshing to see a good case for Mance's horn being real. also, also, also: Thicc beard.
Two horns, one representing ice and one fire, able to command the magic of their respective forces. Maybe in the final battle, the Horn Of Winter and Dragonbinder will be blown at the same time, creating a literal song of ice and fire? Then the powers of ice and fire will clash and perhaps cancel eachother out or form a homeostasis
Hoho, now that'd be interesting, but it would be a bit too obvious an option, and George R R Martin doesn't like giving these solutions to us so easily 🤷🏽♀️
From the beginning you've been a light to many. Your name drew me to you during the heydey of GoT but your knowledge of symbolic esoteric mythical side was second to none. Though I enjoyed the 3 hour videos on the Weirwood compendium, I understand people's trepidation in trying to engage for that long. You have honed your story telling skills to a harmonious degree and I thank you for your panache and punctuation, even when speaking on the Norse names and their origins. Bravo Dave. Thank you muchly, you've pulled me through some pretty dark times without being conscious of it... On that note, so has Quinn, I had first read Dune on recommendation just as his first videos came out and they gave me insight and hunger for more like nothing I've ever experienced. He grasped the book like I've rarely seen. Thank you both, truly
Yea..totally what that guy said too...lol. Really well said, Brandon. I completely agree. Compendium series stuff is just as magic as it's substance. And this one *ranks up there...amazing job, LML, ser.
A parallel of Azor Ahai symbolism is the burning heart. Symbolic AA Stannis takes it as his sigil, Nissa Nissa’s heart is burned by the heat forged sword, and Euron’s hornblower’s heart is also burned, though the text omits the word heart to make this less obvious. A further link that demonstrates your point. Great video LML.
The two horns being parts of one dragon make me think of a comet split in two/ Ned's Ice made into two swords. Could it be that both of the horns need to be sounded? Hm.... "Horn that wakes the sleepers". Could Joramun's horn be used to wake the dead Starks in the crypts, maybe?
It occurred to me that these horns could have been originally used in hatching dragon eggs. I think that, as you mentioned, miris scream draws undeniable parallels with what we are told with the sound of the horn when blown. It's possible that miris blood and scream worked as a stand in for a dragon horn and allowed dragons to return to Planetos.
That last line "the night came alive with the music of dragons", or said slightly differently "the night and the dragons come alive at the same time", makes me think that the others awoke with the birth of Dany and Jon, and that perhaps in reflection, they all need to die simultaneously for the threat of the others to be overcome.
I sway back and forth- thinking, maybe the "hellhorn" need's the ice cold breath of an Other to harness it's full potential. Now, I'm thinking- maybe it is Dany that will wield it, but will She know it's full potential?? Will the horn crack the moon, a comet? Or, will it essentially, "Wight" the Dragon's, removing their spirits & free will?? Great video as always, LML!! ✨👌🏼
I love the thought of the first suggestion. Needing an "Other" to blow the horn. That would be so hectic, though I don't think it'll happen :( Edit: Gods I hope the latter doesn't happen. Don't be stealing the dragons free will!
@@made-line7627 None of those options would have a very positive outcome, that's one certainty!! Im super wary of that horn.."all that glitters is Not gold" and all that jazz. Even if Dany uses it (which Is likely) what will Dragonbinder actually do? Will it "bind" Dany, in some way? She Is also a "dragon"! Will it start a new "long night" by splitting a comet? Bring down the wall? All scary thought's! And, I just do not trust Moqorro (? ) as far as I could spit Him either. That Red Priest has agenda's, within agenda's.. What if HE can wield it? We don't know if He's "mortal" or, if He's similar to Melisandre, and (likely) only kept "alive" by fire magic?! Ominous time's ahead, that's certain! And. "ALL Euron's gift's are poison" !!
Adored this video. Love it when there's clear echoes connecting seemingly separate arcs to each other, especially when they're mythic echoes 🤩 Feel like Sam the Slayer deserves a a wee nod as the carrier of another of the story's most talked about broken horn. Plus his ancestral home is Horn Hill, and he's stolen from the Others which may have thrown fuel onto the oncoming apocalyptic fire. And he's about to forge his Maester's chain which could potentially be an acceptable substitute for a torq... potentially squinting tok hard at that ladt point lol xx
I agree that Sam might somehow gain the hornblower symbolism in the next book, we'll have to see. Maybe he goes jewelry shopping in the secret vaults of the citadel
@Jinty Sam Is one of My favourite characters too. He's such an empathic, intelligent Lad. I also believe Sam has a huge part to play, with the horn he has..Many of Sam's peers underestimate Him, it would carry along the story arc for Sam's horn to be underestimated too. I think it has great power, as much as Dragonbinder does! Perhaps, Sam's horn "cancels" the effects of Dragonbinder or, acts as an amplifier. I'm not sure, but I look forward to finding out!! Best Wishes, Lovely!!
I just really think Vic needs to blow the horn to die in an attempt at one upping Euron, plus it would end a POV & probably send a dragon west. It would be cool if Tyrion lied to Dany afterwards to get her to blow it thinking she would die too but since she's Dany it fully unlocks her Targ/Dragon blood bond and accidentally starts another long night. Idk maybe the reverse with Marwyn lying to her about the horn, and Tyrion just takes advantage of the lie enough to sell him out later. I think Marwyn and Tyrion are going to be rivals because of how similar they are lol I do see your points about horn blowing Dany though and I think they hold water if not for the scene your imagining, then for another down the line that would make just as much sense. EDIT: Okay so if Dany blew the horn AFTER Vic she would be the third person to blow it. Three horn blows bring the others, the long night!
Is it outside the realm of possibility that Valyrians (slavers) used Dragonbinder to bind their human slaves to themselves(dragons) ? I'm scared the twist could be Dany blows it unknowingly and binds people as her slaves.
I loved how horrific and all encompassing the sound of the horn dragonbinder is. Its epic, and it helps paint the picture for me, in how strange, ancient, and dangerous the magical aspect of asoiaf really is. I can only imagine what's in store when the horn of winter has its moment.
Man you’re videos are absolute GOLD! The excitement that rushed through my body when i see a new video by you is insane. I rarely even read the title. I just see you’re super recognizable thumbnails and immediately click on it, sit back, and enjoy! Thank you soooo much for everything you do!
You always doing great job professor David Lightbringer ❤️ It make so much sense for Daenerys to blow the horn. Maybe Quaithe is trying to lead her to Ashai even with a glass candle to learn about her powers and also the horn. Or the horn is a part of Dany remembering who she is. Mind blowing theory and analysis, thank you 😊
she's a cat with burning red eyes, just like the swords Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail, but really it all goes back to weirwood symbolism... Nissa Nissa was a cotf - they have cat eyes and thus cat symbolism - and went into the weirwood trees, so the Nissa Nissa analog characters have cat symbolism and bloody eye and mouth and hand weirwood symbolism. Check out the Weirwood Goddess series, I'm summarizing a long theory here
LML holy hell your editing has improved. It never sucked but you have obviously been working on it. Props man major props. I cannot wait to hear about the glass candles episode. Much love. Praise Garth
Hey, I've been following you since last year and after watching all your videos (multiple times) and also after this yet another great video I wanted to show you my appreciation of your work. More than that I also wanted to thank you for helping me through some hard times, listening to your videos is always a blast. While I'm at it, I am going to add a comment I never finished on other videos because it turns out I also had adhd all along (which was the main reason I was in trouble...) : On the Westeros and/or Dawnbringer Dragonlord of ashai's videos I believe you missed a small clue that Martin might have left while talking about the Hightowers being an old Empire of the Dawn family. If I remember correctly you mention Elissa Farman that did the exact inverse travel than what the Empire of the Dawn would have done if they indeed came to Westeros, but you did not add something that you mentioned in an other video that for me is also a clue that add to the point : the other two ship's captains and one of the very few family name mentionned in this endeavor are Hightowers, and while one of those two ships disapeared the other came back to Westeros. Anyway, I love your videos, thanks again!
Another thing that caught my eye is the bands of gold and jet and jade around the arms of Euron's guy. Gold, black and green, a very specific combination.
I would add to Horn power list (in addition to Sonic Hypno-ray, that call Man and Dragon alike): used as a drinking hord with tree seed paste/Jojen paste gives " the kiss of life" to a dead body. "Blood for fire" part.
Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if I had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction ice is also great and would suffice. Robert Frost
Do you think that Dragonbinder and the Horn of Winter might be blown simultaneously? Thus, they would cause the new Long Night together. This would proof that AA is good and evil (the ever-lasting fight in our hearts) because AA could have caused the Long night intentionally and unintentionally because AA is actually not a single person in our story. This story would once again continue be painstakingly ambigious (GRRM seems to have a fable for that).
Definitely my first instinct wrt the "no mortal man" inscription is fire wight / ice wight "non mortal"-- but all these other clues for Dany with the symbolism is very cool and yaaa I'm here for it! Wish i could like this twice ✨
Oooohhh, I didn't know you made a video on the horns. I remember reading a sam chapter and seeing the line about the broken horn at his waist and just being so disappointed the show didn't touch on it. This was like only into the third season. Now I'm glad they didn't touch the horn plot line. Lmao. Another great video.
Great video. I really enjoy the live streams but your videos like this one are my favorite. They are top notch and high quality. Keep up the great content.
Yeah I can only do like one of these a month, I wish I could work faster. They take a lot of granular work to come out this way though... glad you appreciate it my friend
“No mortal man …” 🤯 Love this! I also love the idea that Dany will be resurrected at some point. Your examination of the symbolism continues to fascinate and delight!
I've been looking forward to this. Excellent work as always, our green-horned lord. By the way, congrats on your engagement. You deserve all the happiness in the world. 🐉
Symbolism couldn't be more perfect through out all of it.. Great theory, great video.. Thanks again for all the time you spend one these man. It really show's.
Excellent connection about the jewelry. Illyrio's gifts, like Euron's, are purposeful. I really like the idea of the horns belonging to a dragon (makes sense), and especially of their purpose being more than just commanding a living dragon, which doesn't necessarily add up. These theories have me on team cataclysmic dragon meteor ☄
Once again great, great work, man! I absolutely adore these. The music always sets a creepy tone and it's gets me expectant of news anytime soon now on TWOW!!!! Awesome work!
Great video like always👏👏 I like the theory that says the horn of joramun and dragonbinder are the actual horns of a dragon. The theory goes on to say that lightbringer was never an actual sword but a dragon. Soo the two horns are soo magical cuz they are peaces of the legendary lightbringer from the dawn age. In that way both the horns yet again be involved in another long night. One by fire and the other by ice😜🤓
Not disagreeing that Daenerys will blow the horn, but I would love to see Melisandre blow the horn, just to see what it would do with her fire transformation.
Hey! I know I'm a little late to the party, and I don't know if anyone already put forward this. But after watching this video I found myself thinking in the night's watch custom of sounding their horns. Once for Rangers returning, twice for wildings attacking and thrice for the Others. Maybe the magic horns have to be sounded three times to take affect. And the night's watch custom is a corrupted tradition from this knowledge. Euron's man sounded dragonbinder the first time (maybe in 400 years, maybe ever), Victarion's three rowers will sound it for a second time (the sound last long and lingers so three men could sound it "one time" imo; maybe the first one dies and the other two cower and never get to try) so that would make Daenerys the third in doing so and unleashing the full power of the horn. I don't know, that was my train of thought and wanted to share
Yeah that could be how it works, for sure. One thing, it was actually blown 3 times at the moot, which people have picked up on as a parallel to three blasts for the Others. I think the Horn of Winter may have called the Others, just as dragonbinder calls dragons
It occurred to me that these horns could have been originally used in hatching dragon eggs. I think that, as you mentioned, miris scream draws undeniable parallels with what we are told with the sound of the horn when blown. Dragonbinder says "No mortal man shall blow me and live". Daenerys may think that she is not a man, being a woman. Valyrian is gender neutral though so she may either die or be driven insane when she blows the horn.
It is never said that (High) Valyrian is gender neutral (I think), but that the noun that translates prince/princess is gender neutral. I see it unlikely that Dany dies from blowing the horn, there is no foreshadowing of that and Martin seems to foreshadow all important events
@@altundasbatu I have seen that most people assume that Val (singular man) is gender neutral, and would perhaps more accurately be translated to people. However I don't know why people assume this and assume that the whole Valyrian language is gender neutral. Martin didn't really create a language as much as phrases and I am pretty sure the language created for the show includes the gendered word woman.
I have a feeling that Dragonbinder was made by a sorcerer who wasn't a Valyrian. Anyone can learn to read Valyrian-Missandei. That horn may or may not work.
My daughter’s name is Eowyn. I love hearing her mentioned. ❤ I also love the idea that Daenerys (one of my other favorites among literary heroines) story would mirror hers in some way
Though the 'mortal' might also refer to Victarion being able to blow it - I don't think he will, even he is not that stupid. But I always took the chapter where Moqorro heals his hand as some sort of rebirth or even near-death-experience (because of the weird style it is written in), meaning he was resurrected... and what is dead may never die. But then again, I can't see Victarion playing some important role in anything, actually I can't even see him surviving much longer.
What a great find! But if Dany is Eowyn, then who will be Merry? Because I believe the Witch King's defeat was in part due to Merry's stabbing him with the Barrow-downs blade. If only we had a small, witty character with attitude somewhere in this story...OH WAIT!
Good point, perhaps Dany is both Eowyn and Merry? Merry being the non-Man Hobbit, and Dany being the non-Man (magic-blooded) Valyrian. Good food for thought though!
I love when LmL pulls out the foam Oathkeeper since it is my favorite sword from the series (actually, I love it so much that I have a tattoo of it crossing blades with Anduril from LotR). Please more shameless prop displays!
Just started the Victarian new video of yours and you mentioned this video and I realized I didn't watch it so I stopped the other video and came here. Inhave been slacking past few weeks dealing with some health issues, I'm under alot of stress. And your videos helped me before all this so gotta get back to it. Missed few videos and imma get to em all and catch up.im not too far behind though. But thank you for what you do man. I said it before love Song of ice and fire and game of thrones ( except last 2 seasons and some stuff even before) and love looking deep into stories and things I love. Symbolism and such so have loved your channel for few years now. I appreciate your hard work and it still bothers me why you don't have much more subs. You deserve it. Fingers crossed when House of Dragon comes your channel will grow. Make sure to make videos on dance of dragon when it show starts. And also when Winds of winter comes. Whenever it comes ( I'm guessing around time the show starts) but we all need to start to accept Dream.of Spring is NEVER coming out.
I loved it! Have you thought about the possibility of the 2 horns Being played at the same time and causing not just the break of the moon but also the break of the wall?
It is interesting to think that Daenerys begrudgingly killed her spouse, who she loved dearly, as azor ahai killed nissa Nissa. And that from his funeral pyre, dany caused dragons to be reborn, as the death of nissa nissa resulted in the birth of dragons originally. And that dragonfire could be referred to metaphorically as a red sword or sword of fire, which is how lightbringer is described. Also dragonfire is probably gonna be a big part of defeating the others, as lightbringer allowed azor ahai to save the world from an unending night.
Daenerys blowing the horn doesn't make much sense, because the horn appears to be obviously evil and most likely made for the purpose of controlling people like slaves. Even if it merely controlled dragons, does it make any sense for her to make her dragons into slaves, to go from mother of dragons to master of dragons? If so that would be a very dark path to go down.
Well of course we don’t know exactly what it does for sure yet, although all the things you mentioned our distinct possibilities. That’s why I raised the possibility of your on tricking her somehow, or perhaps Moqorro. In the event that it does exert some amount of control over dragons, we don’t necessarily know how that works or how obviously evil it would be. It’s not exactly evil for kennel masters to use dog whistles to train their dogs right? All I am saying is that I could see her giving it a try if she’s really having trouble controlling the dragons, let’s say they are flying around Meereen and killing indiscriminately. She may try to blow the horn to stop the madness. I’m not sure how Martin will handle this, but I usually start by identifying the symbolism and then asking myself how we can play out and makes sense in the plot, and in this case, the Hornblower symbolism for Dany seems pretty strong, and I’m also wondering about the parallel to Nissa Nissa’s scream that supposedly broke the moon
Daenerys. A lady of her people, like Rhaenys. A conquerer like Aegon. A dabbler in sorcery, like Visenya.
She truly is her House reborn.

Beric " well if I'd a known that..."
Lady Stoneheart " busy"
Melisandre " been there done that, burned it after"
"UNDER THE SEA the horns blow you! I know I know, oh oh oh!"
iirc, Valyrian is more gender-neutral (e.g. "valar" means "everyone" more than "all men").
This is the kinda cheeky word play I love. Just like in LOTR "no man can slay me!" I am no man! Yaaaahhh!
The scene in this video where tormund gives Jon the gold bands also sort of points to this imo

Totally agree, there is something missing here. Some kind of blood magic to make the horn work, or maybe it doesn't bind dragons at all.
In fairness, the Targs in westerns eventually lost their dragons, so there must be a component we don't know about.
They had breeding dark magic for that, which made up a key pillar of their culture
Surely the horn plays some other role, else they would have mass produced that instead of wierd inbred eugenics

Best theme music of all youtubers!!
I second this!

Do the iron born have a crypt or burial ground? I would think they do viking burials? What happens when they rise harder and colder?
That last line "the night came alive with the music of dragons", or said slightly differently "the night and the dragons come alive at the same time", makes me think that the others awoke with the birth of Dany and Jon, and that perhaps in reflection, they all need to die simultaneously for the threat of the others to be overcome.
I feel this, I do
I sway back and forth- thinking, maybe the "hellhorn" need's the ice cold breath of an Other to harness it's full potential.
That would be so hectic, though I don't think it'll happen :(
Edit: Gods I hope the latter doesn't happen.
Love it when there's clear echoes connecting seemingly separate arcs to each other, especially when they're mythic echoes 🤩
Feel like Sam the Slayer deserves a a wee nod as the carrier of another of the story's most talked about broken horn.

EDIT:
Okay so if Dany blew the horn AFTER Vic she would be the third person to blow it. Three horn blows bring the others, the long night!
Is it outside the realm of possibility that Valyrians (slavers) used Dragonbinder to bind their human slaves to themselves(dragons) ?
I'm scared the twist could be Dany blows it unknowingly and binds people as her slaves.
Oh God. That would be her absolute WORST nightmare.
I loved how horrific and all encompassing the sound of the horn dragonbinder is. Its epic, and it helps paint the picture for me, in how strange, ancient, and dangerous the magical aspect of asoiaf really is. I can only imagine what's in store when the horn of winter has its moment.

You always doing great job professor David Lightbringer ❤️ It make so much sense for Daenerys to blow the horn. Maybe Quaithe is trying to lead her to Ashai even with a glass candle to learn about her powers and also the horn. Or the horn is a part of Dany remembering who she is.

marvelous midnight entertainment! greetings from the deep woods of germany!
so... widow's wail? I gotta look into Cat a little. She's a widow who dies laughing hysterically, like rattleshirt!
she's a cat with burning red eyes, just like the swords Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail, but really it all goes back to weirwood symbolism... Nissa Nissa was a cotf - they have cat eyes and thus cat symbolism - and went into the weirwood trees, so the Nissa Nissa analog characters have cat symbolism and bloody eye and mouth and hand weirwood symbolism. Check out the Weirwood Goddess series, I'm summarizing a long theory here
That artwork is quite impressive👍 🔥🐲

Oh great point! Yeah that would have fit nicely in the GEOTD Westeros video :)
Another thing that caught my eye is the bands of gold and jet and jade around the arms of Euron's guy. Gold, black and green, a very specific combination.

I do love how many theories U can pull out of the novels. Thanks 4 bringing us light in this darkness until the Winds of Winter come out.
I like the theory that says the horn of joramun and dragonbinder are the actual horns of a dragon.
What a good theory! Imagine if Alerio arranged both Danny'sjewelry and Euron's aquisition of the horn!

This episode has been long awaited!
The horns being that of a giant ancient dragon would be really cool, the tie to Jörmungandr is really interesting.
It's possible that miris blood and scream worked as a stand in for a dragon horn and allowed dragons to return to Planetos.
So smart! Thanks, LML!
@@lolsous The word "man" is "Valar" in High Valyrian as in "Valar Morgulis" which is gender neutral.

12:31 love the pronunciation
Though the 'mortal' might also refer to Victarion being able to blow it - I don't think he will, even he is not that stupid. But I always took the chapter where Moqorro heals his hand as some sort of rebirth or even near-death-experience (because of the weird style it is written in), meaning he was resurrected... and what is dead may never die.
But then again, I can't see Victarion playing some important role in anything, actually I can't even see him surviving much longer.
Yeah it’s very unclear what happened to Vic or what his hand even is. Can’t wait to see what George does with itn
Dude, that old doctor doom toots comic was gold LOL!

Have you thought about the possibility of the 2 horns Being played at the same time and causing not just the break of the moon but also the break of the wall?
that 1080 reference absolutely killed me omg
It is interesting to think that Daenerys begrudgingly killed her spouse, who she loved dearly, as azor ahai killed nissa Nissa. And that from his funeral pyre, dany caused dragons to be reborn, as the death of nissa nissa resulted in the birth of dragons originally. And that dragonfire could be referred to metaphorically as a red sword or sword of fire, which is how lightbringer is described. Also dragonfire is probably gonna be a big part of defeating the others, as lightbringer allowed azor ahai to save the world from an unending night.
I wanna see Euron just appear and hop on a dragon right then and there no saddle no whip just witchcraft and vibes
This video is pretty damn amazing!! Also where do you get that awesome background music?
It’s Stanley Black’s The Promised Land and it’s from Monty Python’s Holy Grail movie
