Here is yet another example of what poor quality installation techniques and improper product selection can lead to. This particular situation will probably result in about $100 of removal labor, $160 for broken parts (lights), $50 for the CORRECT harness and another $100 for PROPER installation. NONE of this would be happening AT ALL if the original installer would have just selected the proper equipment and installed it to a high quality standard. Making clutch/fast decisions on an installer and products just because you need something for the upcoming weekend or whatever, will usually have repercussions down the road... For one it's not the original installer who chooses the wiring. UHAUL offers a list of options and recommends the easiest option. T connectors , plug n play, as well as the universal you displayed in the video. Many customers choose the cheaper of the options which most usually is the universal. As for the wiring resting on the exhaust there is no excuse for that. That's just sloppy work.
