As per the internet definition of many sub groups : woke = anything that is pro-choice, pro-pedo, pro-lgbt, pro-communism, and DEI. In part, it is our leaders that led us away from Christianity. They told us we could not keep our religion in key areas because it would offend the newcomers. There is a significant paradox here that is being ignored. Yes, it is true that as an individual it is important to play the cards that you’ve been dealt to the absolute best of your ability, without undue attention to any stereotypes or limitations that other people or systems may seek to impose on you. At the same time, it is valuable for communities and groups to advocate for greater fairness, justice, and equality for their members so that the limitations that other people and systems seek to impose on them are reduced or eliminated over time. BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE AT THE SAME TIME. The challenge is to be able to accept/hold this paradox and operate from the first perspective as an individual and from the second perspective as the member of a group or community. Failure to understand this paradox can lead to living your individual life from the second perspective and feeling like a victim who is not responsible for their outcomes, or can lead to operating as a community member from the first perspective and failing to advocate for and support societal systems that reduce unfairness, injustice, and inequality.

Political labelling is a weapon people use..in the main iy is poltical parties and leadership than engender this for their own needs ..
On the "seeing something before being able to aspire for it", horses for courses, some people can see examples with stories of success, others may see it when they relate more with the attributes exhibited by the person behind a success story. Its not necessary that all to have the same inspirations or see the same context.

Video is 2 hours long. I'm commenting while I'm watching 40 minutes in and people are commenting this guy is 100% correct and "Amazing video" etc etc minutes after it was published. They didn't even watch it. Odd. I'd rather wait until watching the whole thing and comment my thoughts on if I agree or not.
I will often reply 2-3 times whilst observing an informative video. I respond to the speaker’s comments right away or I may forget my idea 😉

There is a huge amount of scientific proof that debunks it. There have always been cycles of warming and cooling and akways been excellent scientific studies that debunk this scare tactic but it's all been censored and hidden, scrubbed from the internet, not permitted to be publically mentioned anywhere let alone, debated - thats Communism 101.

In part, it is our leaders that led us away from Christianity. They told us we could not keep our religion in key areas because it would offend the newcomers. So, we saw our religion less and less impacting on our daily lives from young. The only issue was that those incomers had no intention of giving up there's. And now they look down on us as though we gave up on our religion.

To suggest that those born in to poverty have the same opportunity to succeed as someone born into wealth is simply not true.
The biggest problem is the growing gap between the have and the have nots and the lack of social mobility in society.

I haven’t got to the point where he mentions the name of Thomas, but looking at other comments I believe he is talking about Thomas Sowell. There are plenty of videos of him here on UA-cam. He is a right of centre black academic. I’m making no judgement on the label ‘right wing’ by the way. Enjoy discovering Sowell.

There is a significant paradox here that is being ignored. Yes, it is true that as an individual it is important to play the cards that you’ve been dealt to the absolute best of your ability, without undue attention to any stereotypes or limitations that other people or systems may seek to
impose on you.
At the same time, it is valuable for communities and groups to advocate for greater fairness, justice, and equality for their members so that the limitations that other people and systems seek to impose on them are reduced or eliminated over time.
BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE AT THE SAME TIME.
The challenge is to be able to accept/hold this paradox and operate from the first perspective as an individual and from the second perspective as the member of a group or community. Failure to understand this paradox can lead to living your individual life from the second perspective and feeling like a victim who is not responsible for their outcomes, or can lead to operating as a community member from the first perspective and failing to advocate for and support societal systems that reduce unfairness, injustice, and inequality.
I disagree with your well-trained, no longer free opinion. Nothing is equal and fair in life and should not be forced into being equal and fair.
